DESCRIPTION
Shamelessly copying aspects of Sienar Fleet System design, Obulette Shipyard and Tampson Consolidated collaborated to change the design of the Lambda shuttle just enough to avoid patent infringement. This 'copy' pursues an avenue of military strategy that Sienar last visited with its Skipray Blastboat while using a platform more reminiscent of their Lambda Class shuttle (which House Mecetti coincidentally also produces under license.)

Despite sometimes being mocked as a copy of Sienar designs, the Hammer Class Blastboat is a formidable battlefield presence unmatched by virtually any other craft of its size. With forward proton missile launchers and an aft-facing turbolaser turret, the vessel can attack Capital ships coming and going. Moreover, its heavy armor plating and shields ensure that it can survive an approach and withdrawal while under fire.

The Hammer Class Blastboat can also serve as a limited-capacity dropship, carrying up to 10 troops as passengers which can be disgorged via a disembarkation ramp.
