Frail - Once a strong, athletic man, Casteban is now at the sunset of life and most of his strength has fled. He can still move about, but his fighting days are behind him.
Pompous - Like many Tapani Sector nobles and people of great wealth or power, Casteban is a bit pompous and full of himself.


HISTORY

Casteban was born to parents Petra Mecetti and Storvo Mecetti, living a life of nobility and privilege. He was one of the famed Saber Rakes as a teen, dueling with other young nobles in defense of honor or in pursuit of status. He joined the Mecetti House Guard when he came of age, anxious to learn the skills of a soldier. After a tour in the navy, he returned to Obulette and was shown the secret House Mecetti vault, with its Sith artifacts. Though Casteban yearned to find some force ability within himself, there was none, and he was unable to unlock the holocron's secrets.

He went on to marry Vianca, a second Cousin who was reputed to be mildly force-sensitive, in the hopes of having a force-sensitive child who could multiply the family prosperity and power with the secrets of the force. This worked, and he had a very force-capable son named Maldor who became his hopes for the future. His wife meanwhile entered a career in intelligence, heading the Ministry of Inquiry in time. All was going well for House Mecetti.

But just as Casteban was preparing to completely retire, his son Maldor became embroiled in various scandals involving Sith artifacts. While Casteban had to publicly denounce his son, he did so with a heavy heart. Privately, he arranged for Maldor to 'steal' House Mecetti assets and flee Galactic Alliance space. He hopes his son will somehow prosper in the far flung wild places of the Galaxy. But that is the extent of what can be done for him.

Finally, he re-assumed the governorship of Obulette and put himself forward as its Senator.

Now the aged noble of House Mecetti is desperately seeking a way to extend his life or create an heir before he deteriorates past all use and House Mecetti falls into ruin.
