  • Name: Hadzuska koshûjontû | The Shadow-born
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Night Spirit / Tharagorrogaraht
  • Average Lifespan: 1.000 Standard Years
  • Estimated Population: Unique
  • Description: A species created artificially by alchemy and sith sorcery. The Night Spirit created them in her own image that the Shadow-born worshiped and served her as lieutenants and servants. Their lifestyle makes them more suitable for nightlife in particular, and because of their shape-shifting abilities, they are perfect predators and social predators. They are essentially a kind of Force-Entity, their goddess filling them with her own power and shaping them when she created their species. But the Shadow-born are very, very far from that to being called deity, although they have a very long lifespan due to their regeneration and eating habits.

  • Breathes: Type I and II, Type III (with shape-shifting)
  • Average Height of Adults: 1.8-2.1 metres
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: In their true form dark, black or darkish-purple, mist-like / smoky.
  • Hair color: In their true form similar to their skin colour.
  • Distinctions: They have a semi-smoky, semi-material shape, they are not completely, they can be grasped and touched, especially in the parts of their heads, necks and upper bodies. These parts are mostly physical. Women and men are not different in their natural form, because they are all immature, they can change their gender with their shape-shifting abilities. By the way, their physical shape is almost completely invisible to the eye due to their smoky appearance, which is why they seem completely immaterial, when in fact they are not. The multitude and movement of the tentacles flowing out of them can also depend on the emotional state.
  • Races: N/A; It has no subspecies, she is alone, but formerly they are all the same, given that it is an artificially created species.
  • Force Sensitivity: All (Force proficiency depends on what level the person was at before the transformation.)
Strengths:
  • Master of shape-shifting: They can take on essentially any shape, from the smallest to a large body. Of course, the smaller or just getting bigger, different body shape from their own; this process requires more energy and more concentration. But it could be either a Kushiban or an Ewok-sized trifle, but it could also be a Loth-cat or just a hutt-sized something. But they can also take up a full form of smoke for a short time. They can even change their lungs to be able to breathe, all very quickly. This way, they can easily adapt to non-lethal circumstances.
  • Master of disguise: In addition to its shape-shifting, they are also able to disguise themselves in the Force, they are also able to change the Force-pattern to look like a completely different person in the Force than they actually are.
  • Perfect “body”: If they are just in full physical shape, they are much stronger, faster, smarter, with better reflexes than humans. In addition, they had a constant rapid regeneration (even in their original, natural smoky form), which makes their endurance much better.
  • I can be you: If they obtains a DNA sample from someone, they will be able to temporarily fuse it with their own DNA and thus fool the modern technology, because DNA tests will show that they are really the person to whom they is giving themselves up. They can do it with one pattern at a time. And if they switch back to their own DNA, the other one is lost and they have to collect new samples. This process takes at least a half standard day, so they can’t act themselves to someone else in no time. Not to be used in an emergency, it’s a long time process.
  • I’m the shadow: They can manipulate shadows and darkness to some extent. All it does is be able to extend its own shadows even more when there is no natural darkness. It is able to focus the natural shadows and darkness around it to make it even harder to notice it. In sunlight, or in a very bright place where there is no shade, it is unable to do so. It is difficult to go even with artificial light, but it is easier there than with natural light.
  • Predators: Their abilities so far also make them perfect to be great "predators," and this is even accompanied by Telepathy. This is independent of the Force, so in the event that the Shadow-born is unable to use Force, they can still feed through telepathy.
Weaknesses:
  • Child of the Night: They are children of night and darkness, thanks to which the very strong light has a rather bad effect on them. If they are in their original form, strong light will cause them pain and they will not be able to use any shadow manipulation. If they are not protected against light in some way (armor, all-encompassing clothing), light can also cause injuries, not to mention that they can make it harder to use the Force. Their biorhythms are also more like the night, they are basically predators, and they use a nocturnal lifestyle. Thus, in the daytime, despite rest, they may be more tired and have more difficulty using the Force, or their abilities.
  • Why am I semi-immaterial?: They may have a semi-immaterial body that looks completely smoky or foggy, yet even in this shape they can be damaged in the same way as if they were in a completely physical form. Moreover, due to the protruding shadow tentacles, it may be even easier to cut pieces out of them than if they were human, for example.
  • Doomed to extinction: The species is doomed to extinction, on the one hand they were created by the Night Spirit, who also made sure they could not reproduce. Their offspring will not be Shadow-born, just weird hybrids. Thus, if the last member dies (due to the death of the Night Spirit) the entire race will become extinct with the death of their last member.
  • Curse of the loss: Because they are semi-immaterial and this is true of their limbs and organs as well, it is difficult to replace them because they do not fit, on the other hand, none of them have really been invented for shape-shifters. They can’t even get a cybernetic implant because of this, and the organic has to be genetically made to the DNA, unique, which they lose if they take the opportunity to change their DNA. That is, they can even die in it right away.
  • It hurt, hurt a lot: As creatures of the Darkside, they are particularly sensitive to the effects of the Lightside. They suffer much greater injuries as a result and can cause them pain. And the effect of the Lightside nexus is really a constant pain, the very strong can destroy them almost immediately.
  • Deprived from the Force: If they are in a place where there is no Force or is blocked, then considering that they are in part a Force-entity, they will feel unwell, sick. Not only will their connection with the Force be severed, but the limits of their racial abilities will also be greatly diminished. They will not cease because they are independent of the Force, so if one tears them away from the Force, they will remain, but they will not be nearly as effective as with the Force.
  • Decreasing abilities: They need to feed constantly so that their abilities do not decline and weaken. If they don’t, they first lose the ability to shape-shifting and get stuck in their smoky shape. To do this, they need not only physical food, but also life force, dark side energies or emotions. So, even if someone doesn’t want to feed this way out of a moral issue, they still have to do it so they can live a normal life.
  • Be careful what you eat: They can also be in danger of not choosing what emotion or dark side energy they eat from others, if they do not take care or cannot control their emotions perfectly, these absorbed energies can affect them, devour them.
  • Everything is harder: Well, life as a smoky entity isn’t exactly the easiest. There are no clothing, armour, weapons normally used, or any gadgets for this condition. If they want a normal life, as a solid being, they have to act as a predator.

  • Diet: Omnivore/Vitalvore; Which, in the present case, applies to everything. They are able to consume any food and drink in physical form (which is not toxic to them, of course), but they cannot survive on this alone. As the shape-shifting's form became more and more complex from the average, the process is more and more energy-intensive. Keeping the shape/form no longer needs energy just a shape-shifting, and that energy needs to be replenished. If they live only on solid food and on normal fluid intake, they will sooner or later lose their ability to change their form. To sustain this, they are forced to feed on the vitality of others as well, or on negative or strong thoughts/emotions and Dark Side energies. Only in this way can they retain their racial extra abilities and the full use of the Force.
  • Communication: Because the species has telepathy, this form of communication is often used. But they are also able to speak normally, with no major difficulty. Given that the species was created artificially, it depends on the original person what language the member of the species also speaks.
  • Technology level: N/A; Eternal Empire standard.
  • Religion/Beliefs: The species was originally created to serve the Night Spirit. Thus, for the original members, it was most important to serve the Night Spirit, or Tharagorrogaraht. However, the deity was destroyed when Ingrid L’lerim defeated her, so she replaced the Night Spirit as the Night Queen (but she was also just Shadow-born, details below). If they were still alive from the species, they would have a good chance of obeying Ingrid, but since she is the last and only Shadow-born, she has complete free will and can act according to her own ideas. She is no longer bound by anything that has kept the other members of the species in shackles.
  • General behavior: It may not be possible to accurately describe the general behavior of members of a species of which there were a total of ten others in addition to the single member now living. Everyone worked separately, on separate planets, at their own discretion. Perhaps their only thing in common is that they are all predators, which has affected their “eating” habits. They like to be close to people who are overheated by emotions because it makes eating easier and unnoticeable. Of course, it also depends on the person how much goes into the crowd, maybe someone to scout to love the victim and literally hunt for it. Pair selection is also completely individual dependent, the offspring will not be Shadow-born anyway because they cannot reproduce. It means, they know, but the offspring will be a hybrid, or a member of the species the Shadow-born paired with. Shadow-born members cannot reproduce with each other, although after only one member of the species is currently alive, this opportunity will no longer occur anyway.

The creation of Shadow-born is now almost obscured. It is not known when they were created by the Night Spirit, i.e. Tharagorrogaraht, who is Typhojem's sister. All you know is that deity wanted to create lieutenants for himself in his own image. He selected his ten most loyal and strongest followers (whether they were Force users or not) and created a whole new breed using alchemy and sorcery. For the creation of Shadow-born, he also used in part his own power to make the created species even more similar to her.

The selected and transformed individuals became Force sensitive one by one and later all became powerful Force users. Tharagorrogaraht gained influence through them on several planets in the Unknown Region. Because the members of the Shadow-born were endowed with a fairly long life, they had plenty of time to learn and became masters of sorcery, necromancy, and alchemy. Members of the species performed countless experiments, created relics, made viruses, holocrons, sithspawns.

If all is true, Night Spirit only managed to create Shadow-borns after many attempts. The goddess may or may not have been inspired by the Wizards of the Night Spirit. There is no longer a record of this and since the goddess is also dead, unless they find some data, it will never be revealed. So after several attempts, the Shadow-born came to be what they were. They are actually dangerous one-on-one, long-lived social predators. Because the deity created them in such a way that they are very attached to the Force (although they can live without it), they qualify as a Force Entity. Regardless, they can be destroyed just like anyone else.

Since they were unable to reproduce (i.e., create an additional Shadow-born), the species was doomed to extinction from the time of its creation, it is not very surprising that at the end of their lives (who is longer, who is shorter) all ten members of the Shadow-born died. on the planet where they were. It is not possible to know the exact time for this, it may have happened only a few hundred years ago, but it is much more likely that it happened many, many thousands of years ago. Later, at Night, the Night Spirit was defeated and imprisoned at Endor, so there was almost no chance that the species would ever return.

The Eternal Empire recently met the Shadow-born again. That is, with what is left of them. So far, they have met in two cases and neither was more pleasant than the other. The first case was at Bursoll II, where the Melding Plague erupted, an undead epidemic where a hive-mind controlled the infected. They almost got out of the planet and then nothing would have stopped them. Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim was the one who finally stopped them and successfully destroyed her balcony in the depths of a frosty pyramid with the help of Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun and Broka the Hutt Broka the Hutt , to which the soul of one of the Shadow-born was attached, so they broke the epidemic. After this they found all the undead and destroyed them. They also managed to destroy the soul along with the relic.

The second case was on a planet called Trenwyth, where Kainan Wolfe Kainan Wolfe sent Ingrid to a location where she found a way to get rid of the Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter 's anger from herself. The woman found an ancient temple at the given coordinates, where she met the Force Spirit of one of the Shadow-born. The Shadow-born saw a great opportunity to possess the Overlord's body and thus return to the living world. Unsuccessful, Ingrid was able to steal all of its knowledge and some of the memories of the entity, thus being able to defeat him and she survived the mental duel. The second soul was also destroyed, but before her death she left another imperceptible mark on the Overlord that only the Night Spirit could detect.

The number of the original ten Shadow-born was reduced to eight. In the wake of the first case, Ingrid also sent tissue samples and samples of the relic to the newly known AMCO AMCO , then later, now when they were lovers, she gave the man the pieces of the second entity's shattered holocron. However, neither the Sith Lord nor the woman figured out who these beings might have been. The genetic samples and data were also deficient, there was no data on this species in any systems. As if they never existed.

A few months later, already after Tacitus disappeared, Onrai Onrai called Ingrid to the Endor moon to draw her attention to the Night Spirit that had been imprisoned there for centuries. Defeating deity was necessary for the Sith Lord’s plans, but the Empress Regent definitely wanted Adrian’s help with the task. The Night Spirit sensed the sign her lieutenant was hiding on the woman and woke up because of it. This time, the Night Spirit tried to possess Ingrid's body, which was the most difficult fight of her life.

She struggled for long hours in her mind and body with the Night Spirit. During the fight, the deity began to transform Ingrid's body to make her like herself to be the perfect host. However, Ingrid played her out and eventually defeated her before her body was completely transformed. She swallowed and acquired all the Night Spirit’s knowledge and memories (though she doesn’t have access to them, but it’s there in her mind) and managed to destroy the deity. Apparently, the power of this deed was felt throughout the planet and among the superstitious peoples of Endor, Ingrid was given the name Night Queen, she became the person who took the place of the Night Spirit as the evil goddess of Endor. It is important to note that even Ingrid does not believe this, does not like this state and does not consider herself a goddess, and does not even believe in the Gods, they are only powerful Force users to her, nothing more.

Since the transformation was not over, she did not become the Night Spirit, she became “merely” a Shadow-born; a Force Entity, the last and only member of a species doomed to extinction, which thus reappeared after many thousands of years to disappear once and for all. Nothing can be known about the remaining eight Shadow-born, whose whereabouts it is not yet known where they may be, or what fate befell them. They may also continue to exist as a Force Spirit after their death, but it is most likely that they are all in the Netherworld as souls, waiting for their mistress, or their new mistress to call them back to the world of the living.

This was the story of how an extinct species returned and how a Force Entity became from a lady whose job it would be to destroy the Force itself at the behest of her missing Emperor…
