Mara D'Lessio Merrill
The Lesser D'Lessio
So we've got 24 posts left on the Kal'Shebbol hex dominion, and the Shindig Job has wound down after 100 posts of fun. I started thinking about something fun to do, and a thought came to mind.
I don't know about you, but I get frequent requests for major faction contracts from various corporations. I keep having to explain that we don't have anything as crass as, like, a government, or money. But there's any number of corporations that do cool things we could probably afford -- ship components for modifications, odds and ends, you know what I'm talking about. So what if we stage a sort of....''show up and try and sell us your crap" event? Maybe hold it on Pergitor in a grungy dome city, invite corporations to make their pitches, and pick a few winners. As a faction we can't afford huge quantities of elite shiny stuff, but I think it'd be fun to see what the corporations could offer us that'd be inside our pay range. Then we all decide what we like and which companies get contracts for their tier advancements.
We get to watch people compete for our viewing pleasure, we get to shop, and in the end we get to send some people away happy. While throwing an Outer Rim spin on the Chaos corporate scene.
What say you?
