STRENGTHS
- It's Karabasting Beskar: This is a glorious armor set made with beskar, a legendary metal capable of resisting lightsabers, energy, and kinetic energy. This armor offers good protection, is sturdy, and allows for top survival in combat.
- So Many Gadgets: This is a complex suit with many ins and outs, functions and properties. From head to toe, this beskar'gam has features and toys tailored for its user.
- Further Protection: This armor additionally works well against the elements and offers some protection against space vacuums, radiation, acid, and sonic blasts. The personal energy shield additionally protects against electricity and EMP/ Ion damage.
- I'll Fly Away: The armor comes with attachable jetpack and jump boots!
- Healing of Harms: The armor is integrated with both a Biorestorative Underlay and a Integrated Med-system, allowing for patching up in the midst of combat by the suit itself. The suit also comes with a standardized med pack.
- Slicing: The Right Vambrace, the "Engineer" Vambrace, is dedicated to slicing, hacking systems, and control of technology.
- Boom Boom Boom!: The Left "Warrior" Vambrace and even knees are dedicated to offensive combat. All kinds of nifty ways to take opponents out!
WEAKNESSES
- Please No Disintegrations, Please No Honky Space Magic: The beskar'gam offers no protection against disruptors and the Force.
- Exposure: There are some exposed areas between the beskar plating where it's just weave, vulnerable to attack.
- Weighty: This beskar'gam is a bit heavy due to the plating and gadgets pulling it down.
- Jump Boots: The jump boots would need to be pulled on over the soles of Gwyn's beskar'gam boots, meaning that she cannot use the jump boots and armor boots at the same time. This means that she has to hook the jump boots on her belt if she plans on using them, and it will take time to put said jump boots on in the heat of battle, where every second counts.
- High Maintenance: Such a complicated and advanced suit needs frequently cleaned and tuned up, with so many buttons and gizmos. It is possible that a malfunction could happen during combat if a system or piece of equipment is damaged in such a manner.
- Reverse Slicing: From top to bottom, the outfit is geared up and equipment with nifty gadgets and weapons. One such piece of equipment, the Engineer Vambrace, features a computer and equipment for hacking and slicing. This vambrace is linked to the rest of the suit and the helmet. An opponent capable of the equipment and skill could potentially reverse slice against the vambrace and even the suit itself, hacking the armor and leaving its wearer to the mercy of the techno enemy.
DESCRIPTION
Designed by Jac'Eli'Zirem Krayt and Gwyneira Craft, then forged by Shai Krayt and Jac'Eli'Zirem. This Mandalorian beskar'gam is custom built for Gwyneira Craft, now Gwyneira Krayt. It was initially forged with durasteel and armorweave, but steadily has been improved upon and replaced with Beskar and Cortosisweave.
The armor is designed initially with the crowned jewel of the helmet Kranak Vizsla gave her. From there on out, the armor was built. Each vambrace serves a different purpose. The left vambrace, the "Warrior" vambrace, is dedicated to traditional Mandalorian offensive tools and weapons in combat. The right vambrace, the "Engineer" vambrace, is dedicated to slicing and hacking systems. The gloves are fingerless for better Force use, and crushgaunts can be slid over them. The knees have rocket dart launchers. The boots have magnetic soles, retractable spikes for gripping terrain, and cables. Jump Boots can be pulled over these.
The chest armor is imbedded with various defenses, medical assistances, and enhancements. An Evasive 226 R Field Disruptor, combat de-ionizer, and energy sink are integrated into the armor. A temperature regulator and kinetic impact gel further improve armor quality and functions. The biorestorative underlay and integrated med system both are medical boons which keep Gwyn alive and kicking in combat.
The back can have a jetpack or backpack mounted on magnetically, and the power cells are located there. The utility belt allows for various weapons and equipment carrying and storage.
All in all, this beskar'gam is an incredible Mandalorian piece combining tradition and individuality. Utilizing Gwyn's intelligence and versatile fighting style, the beskar'gam is a great compliment to its user and crafters alike.
