Sem was now on their way back, having not mustered up the curiosity to continue.
The figure hadn't made any move, or even given much (seeable) acknowledgement to the Clawdite. Typically, they would have walked until they were close enough to the individual, and perhaps attempted to spark up some conversation. But this was unknown territory to them, and the last thing they wanted was a misunderstanding because the shape-shifter accidentally trespassed. So, with a wave to the figure on the porch, Sem turned around and walked back.
It took a much shorter time to walk back, and soon enough the ship and the homestead were in sight. But they didn't go back on the ship. By now, they had deduced that the house either belonged to Captain Strider or belonged to someone who (hopefully) liked Strider. And in their defence, the Captain had not specifically said anything other than a grammatically incorrect statement about touching down.
Thus, the house was the next target of Sem's ramblings.
Pausing at the door, they (painfully) shifted into their female Cathar form -- the acute senses and relative combat-ready physiology would be helpful in case trouble appeared.
Once her muscles were finished shifting about, Sem sighed a breath of relief. It had been a long time since she was in this form, but again, it would work to her advantage should she face any heckling.
"Hello?" she called out, sniffing the air slightly. "Anybody here?" Her voice still sounded like it always did, but as a Cathar Sem noticed that a growling quality often underlay her tone, which had sometimes led to unintended confrontations with other feline- and canine-based species.
