I've always loved how Darksiders who repent in Star Wars are always automatically forgiven after killing multitudes of people. That conversation between Natasi Daala and Luke Skywalker in the Legacy books about how efficient it is for Jedi to amputate people in conflict with lightsabers because "...prosthetics are so readily available. I even have one." kills me every kriffing time.
