+ Hold Its Own + The original design is meant to work in tandem with another, but this variant is more than capable of handling it's own with upscaled weapons and defensive measures.
+ Turtleback + The myriad of shield micropoles aid in keeping the shielding systems at an acceptable power level while covering the weak spots along the hull.
+ AI + The Queen AI System known as the Gray Lady is installed on this vessel, and reigns supreme as the such on this vessel. In control of most every function aboard the vessel, minimal sentient able bodied crew is required.
+ Vanishing + The Vanish Masking System allows the vessel to pass by most scanning systems with ease, projecting a false bit of space back to the scanners in question. There is a severe caveat to operating the system however.
+ Repair System + The ship is equipped with a support drone system that repairs both the equipped ship, starfighters, and other vessels around it.
- AI - In lieu of a large crew, an AI known as the Gray Lady has been given command of the ship. Her personality is more docile than her sister, The Red Queen, but revels in action and consequently the violence from it. Day to day operations are by and by more easily committed to, though it can be noted this is an AI that relishes the chance to use the guns equipped to the ship.
- Ion/EMP - Either of these types energies reaching inside the ship would be ultimately disastrous for the Gray Lady, possibly knocking out her systems and potentially leaving the ship adrift and reeling with system failures.
- Mid-section - Should the shields be penetrated, the mid-section of this vessel is highly susceptible to damage and will easily cripple, if not outright destroy this vessel.
- Vanished - While active, the Vanish system makes the weapons inoperable due to extreme power consumption. The defenses of the ship are maintained, though it is incapable of launching attacks directly out of this system also, requiring a small down time for redirection of power to systems.
- Repair System - The repair system requires the ship be at a complete standstill to operate. It also requires allocated hangar space for the drones.
The ES92 Nebulon S-Class Cruiser was used as the basis for the Gray Ladies Throne. Adding to the basic premise of the vessel being a starfighter screen, the requirements listed put the vessel outside of normal combat situations. Stealth and range being the greatest weapons available to ship.
Two squadrons of starships can manage to fit on the vessel in some arrangement, requiring some be directly open to combat in space while some remain in the protection of a dedicated hangar bay. With a bit of creative thinking, a single vessel can also be parked inside the rear assembly of the command section.
Commissioned by the Aspect of Dream from the Agents of Chaos, Niki gave little thought as to what was to be done with the vessel before the Agent arrived to retrieve the ship. After a brief run through of the system's, Sasmay took off with the AI and ship, leaving the bill for the Agents Admiral that had required her to get starship certified as payback.
