- Supermaneuverable: For a starfighter of its size, the Gnetocarro-class is surprisingly maneuverable, especially when within a planet's atmosphere
- Speed demon: For a starfighter of its size, the Gnetocarro-class is surprisingly fast, especially when within a planet's atmosphere
- Heavy armament: 4 laser cannons and 4 ion pulse cannons allow the Gnetocarro-class Starfighter to engage a number of different targets

- No hyperdrive: Gnetocarro-class Starfighters do not come equipped with hyperdrives
The original Gnetocarro-class Starship was developed by the Merzoidian people of Mahporeem as both a pleasure craft and a racing craft for use within the planet's atmosphere, though these ships are capable of operating in a vacuum if needed. As such, these starships were designed with an emphasis on speed and maneuverability, and originally came completely unarmed.
However, thanks to its partnership with N&Z Umbrella Corporation, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has taken this ancient design and modified it for use as a heavy starfighter, with the addition of four laser cannons and four ion pulse cannons. This onboard armament allows the Gnetocarro-class Starfighter to punch far above its weight class, as it is capable of engaging both starfighters and capital ships with ease.
The starfighter's performance and armament comes at a cost, however, as the fighter is rather physically fragile and protected by only modestly powerful deflector shields. In addition, the fighter performs better within a planet's atmosphere than in a vacuum, especially when SLAB or AIMS is engaged by the pilot.
