Jewel's of the Old Republic were worlds once thought lost and found again but then lost in the plague and darkness. Sasori discovered an old deed to an observatory and with that a map to the jewel worlds. The teams they had would be able to go out and search using what information they had as well as the archives from the old republic hardcopies. Then a few things happened as once... their ba'lands project continued to grow aand provide a booming source of trade as well as expansion. The Galactic Financial Report aadded a few things... with the banking clans having been problems for accounts. the Corporate Interest Guild thanks to Judah was also beneficial to discovery as the prospect of studying or rebuilding the mints on the jewel worlds could be highly beneficial to the guild. Sasori could do the legwork and Judah and Danger had the ways to distribute.

Matsu was looking at the holographic display of Maititi, the city itself was one of many... designed to give a city like look with business, surburban and governmental districts while below it housed the mints and with that the vaults. The construction efforts and designs of one would also be universal so every world its own hypergate network using the chiaki network would be the same... which benefitted them. She had sent the invitations to Dager and Judah as well as other members of the CIG who wished to come and tour it... to be in on the ground level and see what they might be able to do. She had a couple ideas where to improve and they might be able to benefit parts of the guild since everyone had projects like John Locke John Locke and his hypoergates which were seemingly stalled... this could help fund them.

"I have a small surprise and do hope that you and Danger will join. There is a lot of potential for all of us here and a lot of profit that can be made.

Judah stifled a small yawn, turning his head slightly. It wasn't the subject matter - that was fascinating, alternatives to banking and creating vaults was something he found essential due to the state of the galaxy. It was more his schedule, having been busy running several companies at once for the past few months. Add in the fact he suddenly had two grandchildren. The one he had clearly known about in advance, well in advance. The other....well, he was trying to figure out the entire situation on that front. At this moment in time, he felt the best course of action was the less one knew, the better. Especially for his blood pressure and sanity.

He had seen Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau recently, both had visited the kids and the granddaughter shortly after her birth. Yet business called and now he was back at work, last he heard Thessa Kai Thessa Kai was over pulling Nana duty and assisting the two in getting more than an hour of sleep at a time.

Yet focused on the present, he looked at the holographic of Maititi , looking at the ring system of the planet. It was quite industrial, which he found fascinating. Perhaps a place for salvage refinement? Something to consider in the near future, when he had more time to think and focus on various forms of planetary expansion.

"A good surprise or bad surprise? I don't think I can handle many more surprises in my life."

The smooth lilt of a familiar voice carried into the room before the doors fully parted.

"A surprise?"

Danger stepped in with effortless grace, feline-green eyes flicking between Judah and Matsu as she took in the scene with a soft smile and an arch of her brow.

When it came to Matsu, surprises often carried an air of intrigue -- and more than a few times, they were fantastical, sometimes lucrative, and always worth paying attention to. And while the world displayed in the hologram was unfamiliar, it did pique her interest.

"Considerin' the state of the galaxy, should I be arrangin' for ample security for such a surprise?" she asked with a delicate chuckle, the hint of humor threading through her words. It had been far too long since business deals came without the weight of war or politics pressing against them. A straightforward venture, one without complications, would be a rare blessing.

Still, experience had taught her that surprises in their line of work seldom came without strings. And whether those strings were worth pulling… well, that remained to be seen.

SHe looked at both of them and had a grin on her face that was a mixture of innocence and yes.... "Oh it is good I assure you." She said it and showing the world itself she zoomed in. "We can work on security for it in various ways but in Sasori's endeavors we found a cartagraphers observatory and there was a map to the old jewels of the Republic. One of the great works of the Chancellor Lina Soh. Hidden on resource rich worlds and used to house mints. Sasori followed the map to a few and were able to from the older cities get the coordinates for the rest. We then worked to reverse engineer the mints technologies, automated fabrication like that is pretty impressive for the time."

SHe said it all as the world itself zoomed to reveal a city. "Maititi city, a fabricated design with concentric rings for each district and able to be made for each of the jewel worlds. Sitting on the location of the old cities and most importantly the remains of the old vaults and mints.. Staffed with a combination as needed to maintain, protect and operate each mint as well as raise families, operate businesses curated as needed.... and most importantly equipped with a contained hypergate network that would allow unfettered access and the ability to maintain the hidden worlds. We also overhauled the mints for their fabrication and vault construction."

She contonued the model review when she was looking over it and grasped the hardlight. "The surprise is well after the banking clans had to pull out and endangered accounts. There is a chance to expand in various ways. A bank would be needed for the currencies produced to be circulated and backed up, a company that is skilled with salvage and recovery as there is a lot in the old cities that was damaged as the jewel worlds fell and construction as well as refinement of the technologies. We've developed the cities to put in place and the governmental building can double as a lifeboat for the population of the city itself."

She looked at them and there was room for other CIG members to be able to contribute. "It is a minor investment for the potential to revive the legendary jewel worlds and have the mints... only instead of a singular currency they can be programmed to produce various ones needed for the current age and regions. Others within the Guild can contribute and add to the capabilities of this endeavor. I'll also toss in we developed a currency micro repulsor which allows one should they wish it the ability to swim through said currencies if they are confined within a large enough vault like structure to make a pool."

Listening to the pitch as Matsu Ike Matsu Ike outlined the idea to himself and Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau . An interesting idea and at one point, something he may would have declined being a part of. At least in his younger years. Older and less wise, Judah knew the potential of the mints. It seemed the galaxy was a little topsy-turvy, the last time had seen this much fighting on a scale that wasn't Jedi versus Sith was when Makai was born.

The mint offered safety and security in a financial sense. With the potential of governments to collapse growing, having backup that wasn't controlled by the every shady Trade Federation only made sense.

"This isn't the first time I have salvaged a banking system then. I worked with Lady Raaf in the Centrality region - well, Makai did - to help restore their banking district. I do have the crews now who are experienced in what it takes restoring vaults and clearing out salvage to get things running once more."

He paused, shoulders shrugging slightly, as if to say what did he have to lose.

"I'd be happy to join in the project."

Danger let the silence stretch, just long enough for the weight of Matsu Ike's offer to settle. Then, with a slow, measured exhale, she dipped her head, eyes glinting with quiet calculation.

"Well Miz Ike," she said, her voice smooth as Corellian velvet, "you do have a way of makin' a grand idea sound downright irresistible."

Her fingertip traced a slow, thoughtful circle against the table's polished surface. Restoring lost worlds, reviving old vaults -- this was more than just a business venture. This was legacy in the making.

"The galaxy's always teeterin' on the edge of collapse -- Governments rise, they fall, and credits shift hands faster than a Sabacc cheat with a hidden skifter. But stability… now that's somethin' rare. Somethin' worth buildin'."

She cast a glance at Judah, a small knowing smile playing at the edges of her lips. "With Dashell Incorporated salvage crews and my own expertise and connections with Aurum Saacs Bank, I daresay we got ourselves a fine start. Perhaps somethin' even Casteel may be intersted. "

Leaning back, she folded her hands neatly, giving a nod, "I'll back this endeavor, Miz Ike. More than interested."

She lifted her head ever so slightly with a smile. "Now, let's talk details."

She had a grin on her face at thhem being for it. The idea of it being a legacy well she hadn't thought about it but it could be beneficial to all of them and a few more... other members of the Guild might be able to add and improve what they had on offer. "Good, a fair amount going through and personnel will be important. We want the most loyal but also ones who if there is a situation know how to protect themselves." She brought up more details for the table. "It will also allow for improvements in the future. The buildings are self repairing and able to adapt different technologies or systems into them. Advancements in computers will help but there is restrictions so the people there are not in danger."

She said it while adjusting the design. "The details will be important and once we see how much can be produced can be adjusted. The hypergate network will be the most importaant as it would allow for more secured transport when needed and thanks to JOhn Locke we know how to isolate different networks. He power source for it will also keep the city in operation for tens of thousands of years unless heavily damaged. Between that and the self repairing functions of the structure. As a long term investment this will be able to pay itself off quickly. The biggest detail will be the currency we want to produce. A standard governments credit changes and can be replaced quickly. So should be something universal accepted by everyone."

"Ah, Casteel. I haven't seen him around in some time. Would be nice to catch up and do business with him once again."

Judah knew the situation on Empress Teta was sensitive and last he knew, Corusca Bank still had some facilities on the planet. A damn shame what they had done to the planet - a glittering jewel to a closed off kleptocratic stronghold. Yet with this venture by Matsu Ike Matsu Ike and Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau could change the tide of some of the traditional banking systems. At least with their venture it might be a much more stable alternative. If it was done properly.

"Perhaps we base the value of the currency on aurodium or corusca gems. Something that, throughout the ages, has been stable and held value. Something that transcends governments and can withstand wars. This would allow nearly every system to have a hand in the currency as well...aurodium is found nearly everywhere. Corusca not so much."

Danger let the conversation settle for a moment, fingers gliding idly along the edge of the table holoarray as she considered the weight of what was being discussed. She was also in agreement on using Locke and Key's hypergate routes -- all the better to ensure any caravans of the credits are safely guarded to the best of their ability.

She lifted her gaze, the soft glow of the holo-display reflecting in her eyes. There was a measure of worth with Aurodium and corusca gems; already had intrinsic value. With an easy, practiced grace, she nodded, "Aurodium has served well in just about every corner of the galaxy."

A pause then a thought.

"Reckon once this gets out though, we might have issues with folks wanting to try a heist or two. What's the plan to mark the credits and additional security?"

She offered a small grin to that. "For protection of the people we have done two things... worked to restore the planets Barriers.Which will both obscure it as well as disable ships trying to land on the world. Combined with a Planetary Defensive Network that we have used advanced defensive plaatforms for the city. Security can be augmented with our specialized biots for combat and the latest models are able to self replicate to defend." She said it with a small grin and pulling a few of the specs up. "We also have advanced reconstructors which will maintain the structural integrity in case of an attack." There was a lot of potential here and the tightest security would be needed as well as different ways that can be developed.

"We'll also be able to incorporate new improvements long term such as defenses.... but the biggest improvement will be Sasori's Blockade Runners. Aside from its speed and defense it also uses out newest hypertech launcher which allows it to make its own hypergates for movement. Eliminating much of the risk for attack after it leaves the planet or when traveling to it." She said it and they were always looking at the development of newer models of their technogies. "We change store aurodium and others as needed. The improvements we have made to the mints themselves allow them to draw resources from places like otherspace and different planes."

Listening, good points were brought up about security and any issues that could arise from having so much money concentrated in one place. Security costs in his opinion were going to be a small fortune. Given how quickly governments were rising and falling, having a reserve and an alternative currency was wise. Just many logistical challenges to be thought of and pushed through before actually going live with the program. Livelihoods depended on the currency. Once it was live anyways.

"Layers of security would be wise. Droids are one thing. Sentients will also be needed. Checks and balances as well....what of storage? I feel underground would be best. Deep enough to protect from bombardment. How many other planets have been glassed recently? This planet would be no exception, especially given its importance. Perhaps an elite force created too - like special forces just for controlling the vaults."

Danger leaned back ever so slightly, her posture poised yet at ease, fingers idly trailing along the carved edges of the table. The soft hum of the holo-display bathed the room in a faint glow, casting shifting light over the intricate schematics before them. She had all the apperances of being in deep thought as Judah's and Matsu's words wove through the air, each point building upon the next, the weight of their discussion pressing against the edges of possibility.

At the mention of storage, Danger's sharp eyes flicked toward Matsu, a quiet spark of intrigue dancing behind them. She didn't speak immediately, instead letting the idea take shape, considering the practicality of it, the elegance of the solution.

"Miz Ike," she began, curious, "if we're speakin' of storage, what about your dimensional containers? Would it be possible to adapt that technology into a vault format? Would also be useful for transporting as well."

She leaned forward, elbows resting lightly on the polished surface, the golden hue of her rings catching the ambient light.

"Think about it," she continued, her tone one of casual musing, but her mind already racing ahead. "A secured vault that isn't bound by physical space -- one that doesn't take up half a city block, doesn't weigh down transport, doesn't send a flare into the sky for every would be thief with a slicer's touch."

Her lips curved into the faintest hint of a smile. "Most wouldn't even believe it possible. And that disbelief? That's security in itself."

"THey are planned to be implemented. We have refined it more and more now as well so we can improve the Dorme Cargo Containers to function within a vault of a similar design. It will make storage of exceptionally large quantities easier as well as protection. We just need one point of secured entry for it." She said it while looking at the display aand there was more. "As for security we can do a few things... an elite force within the mint itself, a force above in the city and what might be needed to reinforce them. Our Advanced Fabricator and Thoris can be there for equipping. We have developed them to replace armories in our ships reducing the chance of equipment going missing should they get boarded."

She brought i and there was a lot of equipment they could utalize... more so with their weapons technology. "We have been overhauling a number of our other equipment and have developed Nano-Particle Armor for soldiers to be able to use or as an alternative Electro-Armor Tattoo's which the civilians could use... since reports of the great works had the worlds all being trained to aid in the development and progress. We are always working on refinement and innovation of our equipment like our latest Marksmen Rifle that we developed with Atrisia which houses one of the mints." She said it while bringing up the specs.

"We developed it for the Alliance but they went with one of their current contractors so we can give it to defense forces. The internal technology uses the same technologies as our transport containers allowing it to have several modes of fire. Lightweight and super durable." SHe had a slew of other weapons that they had developed for combat as well as more. "We also have some of the most advanced Nanocellular Implant Package using biotechnologies for armor and even weapons." She pulled up another. "Further security we can use a Tyrenia Detection System which uses the old style starpath technology to identify technological assets in an area."

Judah...didn't have much to say. It seemed the project was spearheaded by Matsu Ike Matsu Ike and Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau and they had plenty of ideas between the two of them. He was happy to tag along and do what was required of him, it just seemed out of his depth. In his mind the vault needed to be far underground with layers of duracrete, cortisis ore, durasteel, more reinforced duracrete. Then a reinforced building on top of that.

Instead, in this case, he was just a pretty face ready to do what the two ladies asked of him.

"Sounds great to me. Really just point me in whatever direction..."

Danger leaned back just enough to let the holodisplay's glow dance across her sharp gaze. The plans were solid, tight as a well-run blockade, and she took a slow moment to let them settle, her fingers tapping lightly against the polished surface of the table.

"Well now," she said, smiling at them both, "Security, storage, efficiency -- it's all comin' together real nice." Her eyes flicked from Matsu to Judah, reading them as easily as she did a trade manifest.

She let the moment stretch, just long enough for the gravity of it to sink in. Then she smiled, slow and sure. "Sounds like we're all in agreement. And I do believe this is gonna be the start of somethin' mighty successful." She straightened, her tone edged with quiet certainty. "Now, let's get to work."

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
She was nodding and gleeful internally... with a three pronged approach to their works here.. the mints would be aable to preform better and they haad everything so thhat it would continue to function. "Agreed." She said it and they would be able to improve it, upgrade it all and with time continue to refine... "We have everything here finalized and we should be able to begin productions with the first shipments coming out within a week and then on the regular." She said it and knew they could do aa lot with it.. the mints were part of it as well as the improved vaults which were designed to be underground and secured. "Thank you for coming and for now this should be concluded. Though I think we'll want to get some better corporate accounts in aurum and I know I am going to have to upgrade the economic circles temple. Funding temples and projects is about to get a lot easier."
