Description:
The Twin Suns of Tatooine is the name given to the engagement ring crafted by Alric Kuhn for Danger Arceneau.

This ring was specially crafted, designed, and polished to appear as Alric's most hated place in the galaxy, Tatooine.

The ring itself is of complex design, and even more complex makeup. The band of the ring is a dark aurodium that has been discolored and warped with treated silica sand from Tatooine itself. The ring has been infused with electrum washing through it, cutting through the dark aurodium to appear as lighter colored canyons within the surface of the ring. With the flow and shape of the metal, it begins to appear at a glance that the ring itself represents the surface of the desert sands. When the ring is looked at directly the odd mixture of treated silica, electrum, and aurodium make the surface appear to shift and change, the 'sands' moving about the ring as though the band itself was in constant motion.

This design was crafted carefully and intentionally, representing the ever shifting sands of Tatooine itself.

The rings most unique, and perhaps most valuable feature is the inclusion of the galaxies most dangerous stone, Two perfect Sun Crystals.

Sun Crystals, though not overly rare, were considered to be one of the most beautiful, and dangerous stones in the entire galaxy. The crystals were said to be able to reflect the faintest light, enhance the lowest burning candle, and blind those who looked upon it. Their beauty was sung of in many tales, the horror of their abilities warned of in many stories. For Alric Kuhn, for Danger's ring, they would come to represent the Twin Suns of Tatooine. Through many millions of credits, and several expeditions made by Saeva Incorpoated Alric managed to get a hold of two flawless Sun Crystals.

Both of these Sun Crystals were meticulously carved and cut, spliced down to two perfect gemstones. These gemstones were then given over to Vanir Technologies and through careful treatment and conditioning were 'dimmed'. Each crystal was coated with a synthetic resin that hardened around the gem, thus cutting some of the light of the world away from the Sun Crystal itself. This process meant each of the Sun Crystals still took in light, but the reflective glow was dimmed to be tolerable to even look at directly. The end result of course, was that even in the dimmest light the two gems gave off a subtle, yet alluring glow at almost all times, only darkening within complete black.

The two stones were set within the ring, placed to perfectly take in ambient light.

When he first looked upon it, Alric simply smiled. The two gems upon the backdrop of the sand appeared just as the dusk on Tatooine itself. The old Tetan recalled the Twin Suns of Tatooine, the sunsets that Danger and he had watched together, and thus the name of the ring came about.

To Alric, the ring is more than a simple engagement ring. Tatooine is the world that Alric hates the most. He despises it's heat, it's sand, it's very air. To him, the ring represents an acceptance of that place, a sign to Danger that no matter where she is, where she's going, or where she's from, he will always be with her.
