DESCRIPTION
Originally a manufacturer of high-end hunting rifles for the galactic elite, the company was in the process of expanding into the much larger arms market when the Gulag Plague struck. Despite the horrors of the Plague and the long silence of the Four Hundred Year Darkness, the company quietly persisted, surviving both plague and a history of poor management by the barest of margins.

Emerging into a galaxy reborn, the company was purchased by Erkhin Trivohld via TriTech in 855 ABY - he promptly proceeded to lay off virtually the entire management, while retaining most of the much more reliable engineers and down-to-earth workers. Still recovering from financial ruin, the company has begun breathing life into old projects, striving once more to become one of the Galaxy's premiere arms companies - alongside its traditional business, of course.

RATIONALE
Following the realization of the
Xerxikeen Project, Erkhin Trivohld, founder and sole owner of Trivohld Technologies, became convinced that his company needed to consolidate its supply infrastructure, as relying on external contractors from the other end of the galaxy was a risky move at best, given the instability of the modern galaxy. To this end, the company delved into the arms business, with mixed results. The CR-1 Blaster Rifle was functional, in the broadest sense of the word, but only served to convince Trivohld that external expertise was needed.

To this end, he looked to Galidraan and an ageing arms company known as Glimmersteel Interstellar. It would need work, certainly, but he had done it before, with
Arctrus Astronautical - and unlike the former, Glimmersteel wasn't being propped up by the local government on account of being "too big to fail".

(Something something Globex bought it out?)
