- Suppressing Fire!: While the Fang is not designed for high damage output, it was designed with a different philosophy in mind. Accuracy by Volume. The blaster goes through Gas Canisters like water on Tatoonie.
- Shock Rounds: Designed with Mandos in mind, the blaster fires exclusively electrified rounds, designed to overwhelm and overpower the defenses of your average Mandolorian armor.
- Bite Down: At the expense of an entire gas canister or power cell, the Fang can let loose a single powerful blaster bolt to overpower armored targets.
- Weighted: The blaster is a bit front heavy, in an attempt to reduce recoil. This baby does have quite the kick.
- Under barrel Modularity: The Electro Fang is designed to connect to larger rifles, allowing for a weapon of tactical convenience
- Cooked: While this weapon was designed to deal with power armor, it hitting flesh will cook it. Shocking...
- Full Auto: The Electro Fang is designed to overwhelm Mandalorians or other armored opponents quickly with a massive burst of electrically charged bolts. Zappy Zap!
- Compact: Despite it's output, the Fang is quite small, able to be concealed and lugged around quite easily.
- Bite Down: At the expense of an entire gas canister or power cell, the Fang can let loose a single powerful Electro bolt to overpower armored targets.
- A Bit Heavy: As a result of it's weighting, the Electro Fang can be a bit awkward to handle at first. Designed for experienced shooters, this blaster was built for the purpose of keeping those enemies of the GA sleep a little less soundly.
- Low Capacity: Despite it's massive output, the blaster is still just a pistol. It's only designed for regular blaster pistol canisters, and thus you'll be lucky to get a few bursts in before you have to reload.
- Overheat: The blaster, should it be fired in full auto, will quickly overheat. This is a problem that the designers knew going into the concepting stage.
- Overwhelming Fire-Oh no: The Bite Down function, while powerful, does more or less guarantee an overheat, causing the pistol to be inoperable for a few seconds before it cools down.
Designed in conjunction with the NJO, the Electro Fang was designed with the purpose of overwhelming power armor. A variant on the original Fang, the GASP was designed for a surprise shock to any mando's system, allowing anyone within the GA to get a leg up against them in close range combat.
