- Modular Construction: The front claws are designed to be removable, allowing for any number of attachments to the front for various needs.
- Rotating Cabin: Not only does the cabin rotate a full 360 in the X axis, but also, the front of the cabin can spin on the Y axis, allowing the claws to manipulate held items like I-beams or large boulders with ease.
- Tractor Beam: Installed at the base of the claws, a heavy, industrial tractor beam to lock items held within the grasp of the claws in place. This can also be used with other attachments to tear pieces of building, or as a tow assist.
- Crushing Strength: The Claws of the Stag are designed with probably the highest level of hydraulic strength. Made of Seigurium, the claws are designed to rip and tear other industrial metals, and manhandle wrecked buildings to the grown, so that the construction crew can come in and build new ones.
- Exoskeleton: The armor of the Stag, designed off the chassis of the Cougar, is designed to withstand heavy mines, unexploded bombs, or even leftover troops. This is a construction vehicle designed for post-war cities, and built for such.
- Hell of an Engine: While the Stag's engine isn't designed for speed, it is designed for power. It is designed to pull with enough horsepower to tear down tall buildings if need be, and rip apart durasteel.
- Not Designed for Combat: The Stag is, very bluntly, not a combat vic. It's ability to defend itself lies solely on a top mounted blaster cannon meant for self defense, and it's heavy armor plating.
- Ion Deficiency: As previous stated, the STag is not a combat vic, thus Si Tech felt ion shielding, outside of the underside to protect from ion mines and ordinance, is not designed to protect against ion weapons.
The first foray into construction vehicles, Beetle Construction and Si Tech took what they learned from designing military armor, and turned that into industrial hardware. Built like a tank (because it was designed off of one), the Stag was designed off the philosophy of "Before you can rebuild, you need to tear down."
Thus, the Stag was built with the ability to dismantle entire modern cities safely. Capable of having skyscrapers from Coruscant fall on it before it gets crushed, the cabin is less a cabin, and more an above water submarine with how much pressure would be required to crush it. It's claws are designed to rip apart modern alloyed durasteel, and carry tons of demolished building material within it's claws. Also, included with the Stag are several attachments that allow the Stag to not only rip apart a building, but clear a warzone of hazards, or simply push all that destroyed building away, and prep for a new one to be built in it's place.
