Galaxy's Divinity: Voyage On Emergoop

The planet of Emergoop lies on the Outer Rim, it is a multi-climate planet that is divided into four kingdoms. Tensions between the regional nations of Balledon (Grasslands/Forest Region), Ifrine (Volcanic/Craggy Region), Shivin (Ice/Tundra Region) and Lifio (Underwater Region) have been escalating for some time due to idealistic differences and other issues. A series of small raids on each kingdom, apparently by one another have made war seem like an inevitability. Worse so, as each kingdom denies responsibility for these raids. While it lies outside of their space, Silver Jedi Order agents have been investigating at the behest of an unidentified confidante in order to try to prevent the Goopians from destroying each other, and their planet as a whole, in the fires of war.

Their spies have found an interesting report. Apparently, the leader of a crime syndicate by the name of Gaggle The Hutt has been sending his own forces disguised as troops from each kingdom to attack one another and provoke an all out war. gate, obtain evidence and then arrest or in some fashion indispose of the Hutt once evidence has been found.

The Silver Jedi Order has organized a team in order to investigate, obtain clear evidence of wrongdoing, and then ensure that Gaggle has been indisposed in some fashion. While it is preferred it is done through non-lethal means, necessity dictates what must be done. The team composes of Jedi, and others outside of it who have volunteered, in order to bring a varied skillset to the mission. Some may call the team a bit large, but the Order has prepared for the possibility that the Hutt may have more than they are bargaining for in the form of forces. Even worse, should they provoke all out war, then a small team being caught in the middle of it is far from ideal for the safety of those on it.

Those that have been sent include...

---------------

Josh DragonsFlame
Jedi Master Josh DragonsFlame has been placed in charge of this mission. The Battlemaster of the Silver Jedi Order and next in line for the position of Master Of The Order, DragonsFlame brings a varied skillset and a wealth of experience. A warrior and a tactician, the Jedi Master is comfortable either at the front of the battlefield or at the back. He can lend the group fire at his beck and call, and the White Current allows him to be cloaked entirely from sight and sense. Outside of combat, he is capable of communicating in Basic, Binary and Shriwook, and can lend his incredibly vast wealth of abilities to just about any situation. On the downside, he can be incredibly reckless at times and may put himself at risk if he thinks it will be what is best for everyone involved.
xIMHbY.gif
Madalena Antares
From the CIS, the Pathfinder Madalena Antares is skilled in sabotage and witch magicks. With her access to foreign, potentially illegal magicks and other tricks that may seem inhumane, she may be able to lend help to the party in unexpected and potentially very chaotic ways. In combat, she is capable of taking damage like a living pin-cushion as she charges through the field. Outside of combat, she is a skilled cook who specializes in meats. Madalena is, unfortunately, fairly unstable and is unable to sleep properly without breaking out into uncontrollable screams, potentially losing control of herself in the process. As a Sith, trust may also be an issue.
Yuroic Xeraic
At one time part of the Jedi, Yuroic Xeraic is the apprentice of the late Grandmaster Arisa Yune. While his mind was recently modified, Yuroic brings an aggressive style and access to a variety of weaponry as well as access to powers from both the Light and Dark side of the Force. Outside of combat, Yuroic is capable of speaking nearly all known alien languages and can function as a translator and liaison. Of course, his memories being modified may not be permanent. Should his memories return, Yuroic may be unstable and prone to going to great lengths in order to secure his next dose of spices.
Maul_2.jpg
Ra'a'mah
The former Baroness Ra'a'mah lost much of her positions and power after being betrayed by her former employers, the Sith, forcing her to fake her death and go undercover for a great deal of time. Her recent work with Master DragonsFlame has brought her into the fold of the Silver Jedi Order as an associate. Being a former head of intelligence, Ra is resourceful on top of being skilled as a slicer. Her greatest asset appears to be her prowess in the usage of stealth and capabilities as a master of disguise. May be indecisive and does not appear to have fully grasped the path she intends to take. There may be distrust involved due to her being part of the Sith up until recently.
photo-16676.gifq_r1533714584.pagespeed.ce.EUvm1pzNQ_.gif
Asaraa Vaashe
Jedi Padawan for the Silver Jedi Order and apprentice of Master DragonsFlame, Asaraa is a proficient combatant who is getting ready for her Jedi Trials. Specializing in telekinesis, Asaraa is also a tactician and planner who is capable of getting and keeping a group together where needed. She can serve as the group's liaison if bridge building is necessary. While she is an excellent pilot, do not let her drive the speeder under any circumstances. You won't have a speeder for very long. She is also still under watch after the incident that caused her to swap bodies with a Sith Lord. While it is possible she could be taken control of, or hunted down by her former assailants, it is also possible she may hold hidden knowledge of the Sith that could prove useful.
Rachel Taff
Jedi Padawan for the Silver Jedi Order. Proficient as a closed-ranged combatant with a lightsaber and long-ranged with a blaster, her abilities with the Force in her eyes leave much to be desired and she will likely not use it as much as the rest of the party while she learns. She also has no desire to lead a party and will hang in the back until the battle begins, where she will likely rush in. The Chiss Padawan is a dark horse, with her true skillsets and potential untapped as of this moment. It is possible that more of her will be unveiled as the mission progresses.
---------------

The six of them would be packed into a large speeder, titled "The Firebird". The Firebird is custom made, meant for housing a larger party along with their belongings. It is a tanky speeder, which while not the fastest is capable of holding it's own when tested. It will hold on long enough for the party to fight back if it comes to a scrap. It has also been fitted with a radio, holo-communication capabilities and a roof/window set that can be switched on or off with the press of a button to fit conditions. It still has room to be upgraded.

---------------

With that in mind, a shuttle would drop the six team members onto the planet's surface. They would land in the kingdom of Balledon, in the middle of a lush, grassy plain with trees in abundance. They would need to drive carefully so as not to hit trees or other obstacles, and should they go into the forest they would need to be wary of wild beasts. The Firebird would next be deposited from the shuttle and as it would fly off, a question would be presented by Master DragonsFlame as he turned to the group.

"So. Who's driving?"

Madalena finally had some time off from her responsibilities with the Knights Obsidian within the Confederacy, and instead of making her way with the smallest bathing suit she could find off to the beach on Spira or something of the like, had instead signed up for a mission with the Silvers. The chance to spend more time with Josh, one of her best friends, was too great to miss out on. Besides, it was hard to get her to reject a chance to cause violence and shed blood.

Looking around her, there was no one in the group that she recognized aside for her friend, but it didn't matter. She had a big friendly smile to offer each and every one of them before taking up her spot somewhat to the side, figuring the Jedi types might need a little bit of time to warm up to the presence of a Sith.

As they all made their way out of the shuttle and Josh asked who's driving, Madalena casually walked over to the driver's seat, making herself comfortable. "I am!" she announced with glee, fingers already punching the buttons to get the maps up and everything else they needed to get to their first destination.

While the Sithling was pretty poodoo at fighting spaceships and usually relied on her autopilot to get from point A to point B, planet-side vehicles were somewhat of a hobby. She'd spent countless of hours on Coruscant as a teenage, breaking every traffic rule in the book as she learned to maneuver speeders and pull the craziest of stuns.

She was also glad that Land of Grass was the first place they were hitting. Truthfully, of the four kingdoms, the only one that scared her was the Wet one. But that was only to be expected when you didn't know how to swim.

Rachel's master had told her it was fine to go on assignments especially for the slivers. But it was more than that for her. It was a chance for her to increase her field knowledge on somethings. Better to learn in the field than in a lab at times. When she had signed up she hadn't realised that it was being lead by a master with support from outside sources. This was getting more and more interesting.

As they arrived she meet the whole group. She knew Asaraa the two of them being friends and in fact asaraa had been the one she had gone to for help with her light-whip that was hanging off her belt. She had nearly had to use it more than a few times and to being with it had stuffed up how she trained but she kept on ending up with as unique a style as the whip itself.

Josh she had met before during a meeting with a new member of the SJO but beyond that and the chance meeting during the prime minister incident they had little to no interactions. Not that she minded hearing he was a fairly decent master but she still preferred her own master more. Building up skills she could work on rather than those she couldn't.

Yuroic she hadn't met before although she heard during a sequence in his mind she was there. Which seemed strange to her because she wasn't present on the mission. But she pushed it aside. The last two females outside helpers she had never met before. Both felt of the darkside. One the red headed female was more like her nephew Tom Taff. The other who had decided to drive felt more like Rowin but less evil possibly. She would wait and see, she had yet to meet a nice darksider.

She would wait till they reached the grass plains to speak perhaps. She only knew one person and she had money on it that asaraa knew everyone here.

This was totally not where the padawan had expected to end up spending her day when Master Dragonsflame had shown up and insinuated that he had a mission lined up that she could join. She'd expected swooping in to rescue the day, lightsabers blazing to the cheers and accolade of the crowd. She hadn't expected this...a speeder. It was a big speeder, a nice one no doubt but not exactly the vehicle you expected to find a party of Jedi in, well Jedi and friends.

The girl's blue-eyed gaze flicked over the vehicle, glancing at the pathfinder who had claimed the driver's seat as she held out a hand. The girl's bag slipped down of her arm, hovering in the air as it swung gently, floating in the air as it settled itself in the back of the speeder as the girl herself leaped over the edge of the speeder, settling herself in the back as she grinned over at Josh, "Well then, if she's driving, I'm calling the seat back here. Someone's gotta take care of the very important job of checking out the scenery and making sure we're not missing anything important after all."

Snuggling down in her seat Asaraa reached into a pocket to pull out her sunglasses, settling them on her nose as she leaned back, enjoying the feeling of the warm morning sunlight falling on her skin. It wasn't like they were going to be attacked or anything right off the bat, and compared to some places she been sent by the Silver Jedi, this was downright relaxing. For a few hours at least she could treat this as more of a vacation than a mission, at least till they started getting close to the danger.

It had been something Yuroic was looking forward to, a mission with the new Master of the Order, he wanted the chance to show off his talents and aim to impress the man. Yuroic was being ambitious like many Knights of the Order in his position. Ambition was healthy if it was not overwhelming. Yuroic wore something casual, they were not to appear as Jedi from what he gathered. Borrowing style he wore as a smuggler pre-Jedi Order. Yuroic wore a light colour shirt and dark trousers. His muscular body was tight in the clothing as he underestimated how much muscle he had and brought a shirt that fitted but still tight. His beard was slightly longer than stubble but carefully maintained, his hair was short and clean. He was walking over to the speeder and noted some of the people.

Master DragonsFlame was there as was one of his Padawans Yuroic took a guess. The Padawan was human in appearance and had pink hair, she seemed friendly. The other woman with him had made Yuroic cautious. Though he had heard the many rumours that Master DragonsFlame enjoyed sharing his bed with female Sith, Yuroic thought the man more cautious than that, believing that any enemy would see it as a chance to strike and kill. He also knew that the Silver Order were allies with the CIS which contained Sith who were nkt warmongers like the Empire was. He also had to put trust in Master DragonsFlame to know what he was doing. Another Padawan was walking to the speeder, a Chiss whom he did not recognise.

Entering the speeder, Yuroic looked around and gave a warm smile to them all. "Greetings, I'm Yuroic, Jedi Knight of the Silver Jedi." His voice friendly and warm. He was being cautious of the Sith but optimistic that they could work well together. His weapons were his twin lightsabers and a blaster pistol strapped to his right thigh.

This wasn't going to be the first mission for Ra, but it would with these people. She didn't know any of them except Josh and was worried they may not mesh well together. Being one able to put things aside like beliefs and ideals, she wondered the same about the others.

The former sith assassin had certain skills Josh wanted for this and had asked her to come along. Ra was a silent observer in this and looked at each person as they reached the speeder that was provided for them.

She looked up when he asked who was driving, but one of the other females spoke up before she could. Shrugging her shoulders slightly, it didn't matter who drove as long as they knew how. Watching as the girl pulled up the various systems, she didn't say anything. Looking up as the other approached, Ra nodded to each of them. When the last one appeared, he introduced himself with a smile and friendly tone.

"Ra'a'mah Numare. Please just call me Ra."

Lapsing back to silence, she waited for this show to get moving.

[member="Yuroic Xeraic"] [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] [member="Rachel Taff"] [member="Scherezade deWinter"] [member="Josh DragonsFlame"]

Madalena had decided she wanted to drive, and Josh would quirk a brow at that. But she had already jumped into the wheel, and the Jedi would let out an exasperated sigh.

"We're doomed" He half-joked as he would get into the vehicle, deciding to hang out in the back end of the passenger's seats so he could watch the rear far better. He would be an obstruction if he sat in front anyway, with his height and the back had more room for his longer legs to provide the best comfort possible. The group would begin introducing themselves as the Jedi would close his eyes with his arms relaxed behind his head.

"I'd introduce myself but I think I already know all of you" He spoke with a light smile before looking over toward Ra. "You mean you have a last name? I've never heard your last name before" Josh would point out, opening his eyes to quirk a brow toward her.

"You know, one of these days you and I are really going to have to talk about the kinds of places you take me on trips," Asaraa pointed out as the taller Jedi master settled in the back of the car, a pair of blue eyes narrowing as she hooked her shades down, giving the man a mock glare. "You said this was going to be a nice relaxing trip, and now you're telling me we're doomed. If I get doomed, or cursed or anything you better believe I'm coming back to haunt you." The smile blossoming on the girls face gave the lie to the severity of her words as she snuggled back into her seat.

As the girl pushed up her shades she couldn't help but let her gaze flicker over to Yuroic. There was something off about the man, something different from usual. His gaze had slid right past her, as if she was just anyone else, as if he didn't even recognise her. The padawan's brow furrowed for a moment as she stared at Yuroic before she shook her head, nah she must be imagining things. Probably cause of a too long flight out or something. Smiling wryly at herself she inclined her head at Yuroic, "Nice to see you getting out of the temple, it's been a while."

Rachel sat back watching everyone. She had no real reason to speak up yet or give out to much knowledge. She laughed at [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] 's comment. "Just wait till you see some of the places my master takes me. Just last week he took me out to defeat a virus that could have killed us both." She said simply. No one could out do the craziness of where her master and her went but that didn't matter. She finally decided. "Since everyone else is introducing themselves. My name is Rachel, Rachel Taff."

[member="Josh DragonsFlame"] | @Riamah | [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] | [member="Scherezade deWinter"]

Giving a far more mental shrug of her shoulders when only one other introduced herself, Ra assumed the others would do it in time. If not these were details that would come out over the course of time. Climbing into the speeder after Josh, she nodded at what he said and chuckled slightly.

"I told you my last name the day we met. Not something I usually state more than once."

It seemed the pink haired one had some sense of humor and it showed clearly on her. She was far more of a closed book and did not reveal much of what she felt or thought. At least not until she felt there was a need to speak.

When a chiss showed up and joined them with her introduction, she did speak up.

"A Taff and a chiss. Now I am unsure how common that name is, but any relation to Rex Taff?"

[member="Rachel Taff"] [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] [member="Josh DragonsFlame"] [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] [member="Scherezade deWinter"]

"It was. And then Maddy took the wheel" The Jedi would point out toward [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] with a light chuckle. Well, if they died, they died. Though how would it be to have it on his tombstone? Here lies Josh DragonsFlame, Jedi Master of The Silver Jedi, Battlemaster... Killed in a brutal speeder crash because they let Madalena drive. Speaking of, the Sithling had begun driving and the abruptness of it and the speed it was going caused the Jedi Master to slam into his Padawan roughly.

"This... Isn't what I'd call foreplay" He recovered with a quick witted crack as he would give a nod in genuine apology before shuffling back to his spot. Dusting himself off, he would look to his left when [member="Riamah"] would correct that actually, he had indeed been given her last name.

“You did? Huh. I don’t recall” He spoke, giving a casual shrug. “Sorry about that.”

The speeder would rocket through their original landing area and they would find themselves in a large plains, a field filled with grass and flowers who’s height was mainly just under where they’d be in danger from the speeder. Ensuring the speeder wouldn’t damage a one. The Jedi would relax back against the seat, taking in the sights around him. It reminded him a little of Naboo, his homeworld. He had to get back there sometime soon. He could admit to being a little bit homesick. Kashyyyk was nice, but… There was something about Naboo that calmed him down. Helped him relax. It felt familiar, it felt comfortable. It felt like home.

Emerald green eyes glared at Josh as he said that they were doomed. Madalena was a good driver. Piloting, that was a whole other story. She knew where her fortes lay and anything that included driving planet-side vehicles, she was great at. The rest of the group introduced themselves and she gave each a nod or a wave from her driving spot. The comments from Josh about her driving continued for the breath of a moment she considered using a ring on him, stab him to hell and back.

But she kept her peace. For now.

It wasn’t too long of a drive. The land of Grass was all around them, green and luscious. It reminded Maddy of the stories she and her brother would conjure, first as children and the even as teenagers, about a magical kingdom. It was nice, without that weird smell that Naboo had.

“We’re here!” she announced, hitting the brakes at full force. Oh, she knew how to break all right. But if people were going to make mean comments, she was going to give them hell in small and not so passive aggressive ways.

Josh had forgotten that they would be stopping in the edge of the grasslands in order to walk the rest of the way and enter their enemy's hideout undetected. So his rest would be interrupted when the vehicle would suddenly lurch to a halt. And by lurch, I mean she floored the brakes and had they not been wearing safety belts they would have gone flying. His eyes wide, the blonde would grab onto whatever he could to keep himself planted firmly where he was. Brown eyes glared daggers at the woman he once called Scherezade.

"You've proven my point" He remarked flatly as he would unbuckle the seatbelt. Letting out a sigh, he would wait for AsaRaa or Ra to exit the vehicle so he could get out himself, being stuck in the middle. Stretching out and letting out a yawn, he would look out at the landscape in front of them.

"Here's to hoping the rest of the trip goes more smoothly than how we just arrived."

[member="Riamah"] - [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] - [member="Scherezade deWinter"] - [member="Rachel Taff"] - [member="Asaraa Vaashe"]

To say the ride went smoothly was putting it nicely. The speed, sharp turns and many bumps made Ra thankful all her teeth were secure in her mouth.

"Well it's not something I make a deal of. Just Ra is so much easier to remember anyway."

Shrugging her shoulders, they were bounced around by more bumps and the comment Josh made caused her to blush slightly. Hopefully it went relatively unnoticed by the others around her. Almost winding up in a body pile on the floor, she climbed back into her seat and nodded when he apologized. Chuckling just slightly, she made a subtle motion at the one driving.

"I guess this is what we get for allowing a student driver to take the wheel."

Letting out a grunt when they arrived as if the wind had been knocked out of her, her eyes mirrored the look Josh was giving her.

"I'll drive next time..."

Rachel turned to [member="Riamah"] as she mentioned her brother's name. "Yes, how do you know that name? What's your connection to my brother?" Rachel would ask before hit the seat in front of her because she wasn't expecting to stop so quickly. As she got up she gave a look to [member="Scherezade deWinter"]. She knew the girl was a little sithling and now she wasn't sure she would even trust her.

But the others seemed to shake it off and suggest someone else take the wheel next time. Perhaps next time they wouldn't let a Sith take the wheel it was very lucky in Rachel's opinion they hadn't hit a tree or some other hard object. But she got out of the vehicle none the less and did a quick check all over for any damage finding only some bruising she decided that was fine. She stood and waited for what was next.

[member="Josh DragonsFlame"], [member="Asaraa Vaashe"], [member="Yuroic Xeraic"]

When Rachel answered her question, Ra started to give her an answer. Instead that was when they each got thrown around by the driver and they had to shake things off. After that was done, she turned again to the younger woman nod smiled slightly.

"I met him when I made a delivery of some goods to the Confederacy a while ago. We made a deal and I as form of payment for some of the goods, he gave me one of his Rakghoul Droids. How is he doing?"

[member="Rachel Taff"]

"Deal" He responded when Ra offered to drive next time. Maddy had definitely limited her driving opportunities after that stunt. While Ra and Rachel would talk about their mutual acquaintances, Josh would stretch out once he had exited the speeder and take a look around the grasslands they had ended up in. The grasslands were beautiful, filled with flowers and tall grass that stretched far and wide. In the midst of it all was a massive tree that looked like it could be thousands of years old. Caius would place a hand on the oak for a moment, noting that it was a rare type. But also quite old and it probably wouldn't be great for crafting. It was an aesthetic then, a tree so old that it was there because it was pretty and cutting it down would take far too much work for something so pretty.

"Map says we need to get through the forests close to here to get there" Josh would remark as he would look the map over on his datapad. With that, he began to make the trek toward where it had guided him. They might as well get started, shouldn't they?

"Emergoop apparently has an issue with large snake creatures hunting in the tall grass in this region. Be cautious" Josh would warn the group in turn.

[member="Riamah"] [member="Rachel Taff"] [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] [member="Scherezade deWinter"] [member="Yuroic Xeraic"]

"Large snake creatures hunting in the tall grass..." The pink-haired Jedi stared daggers at the back of Josh's back as she gave the long grasses surrounding them a long uncertain look. "You know Master, I know I've said this before but you never take me to nice places. After this, how about we go somewhere safe, like a mission into an active volcano?" The girl reached out for her water bottle, pulling back the lid as she took a sip of the cool water as she glanced around rubbing idly at her ribcage. That hadn't been the smoothest of stops and she knew she was going to be feeling that in the morning.

"So...what're we going to need to bring with us do you think?"
