I think it's very telling if someone was concerned enough about being excluded as a dark Jedi/Sith Lord from a Jedi Order vote that they reported it. It means there was intent.

Yes, the NPC Prime Minister was an idea floating around. If we made the position NPC it would, possibly, give more power and activity to the Senate.

But again, this is just one of many ideas being bounced around.

You're telling me every time a Master doesn't get tagged in a Master vote they get to pitch a hissy fit because they weren't paying enough attention to assure involvement? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!

Pay more attention. Mistakes happen , and it's a lot to keep up with to ensure that every single Master knows about a vote. Maybe if you were around/active you wouldn't have missed the vote.

Have they had that much more power than the Senate? If the Senate can impeach or remove them with no confidence votes and still pass laws as well I don't think the power is that skewed?

Just to for sake of clarity, we weren't reported to the admins. The person came to us with their objection and we went to the admins for clarification. From there, administration helped us come up with this solution.

Dark Jedi/sith were just my go to example. To tell the truth, nothing is stopping silver jedi or grey jedi from posting in the master vote either. Not as extreme but still they could cast popularity votes just to bump someone up. It just doesn't makes sense to me to have non-order jedi making that decision if they choose to. The sub-faction makes enough sense for me. Lugus will still get to read TJO forum. Shoot and nothing is stopping me from using Uri to reply to any ooc that could be posted in that forum.

Also nothing is stopping an nfu from messaging the OP or even opening a thread OOC discussion in regards to OOC on TJO forum.

Not to mention the other options the FAs had were even more exclusive!

To put this very simply, short and sweet.

The faction administrators did not convene and decide to do this. It was stated we were breaking the rules of SWRP and upon consulting the site admin, were given three options to rectify the problem. We did decide option three was the most logical, least intrusive solution.

If the decision to go with option three displeases you, I am very, truly sorry. Our hand was forced, not by choice.

As the saying goes regarding the arise of this issue, The squeaky wheel gets the oil.
