The Galactic Alliance needs you!
Following the Second Great Hyperspace War, the Alliance began a long process of upgrading its military capabilities to modern standards and demands. Now, with new threats rising all around its borders, even more resources are dedicated to upgrading old and developing new technology. To quicken this process, commissions are sent out into the market with requests for specific pieces of equipment.
After a commission for a new service rifle, the GADF made its decision and realized that most of its options were low fire-rate, high-damage rifles. But in the heat of battle, it's sometimes crucial to suppress the enemy in their positions with high fire rates! For this very reason, another commission has been offered into the market for a Repeating Blaster Rifle
These are several non-negotiable demands for the design:
- It must be possible to fire the rifle with and without a mount
- The fire-rate must be at least high
- The rifle must work in arctic, jungle, desert, and other extreme environments.
- Your company must accept an extensive investigation to make sure it's reputable enough for the Alliance to commission it.
Submit your designs and earn yourself a contract with the Defense Force!
OOC requirements:
- Submissions must have been submitted to the Factory before April 15th. It's okay if they're approved by factory judges after this date.
- The submission must have the "Galactic Alliance" as affiliation and be closed-market.
- The submission has to be mass-produced.
- Each writer is allowed to submit one rifle to this contest
