STRENGTHS
  • Astromech Slot - Carried over from original design specifications and included in the GADF variant, the Command Miy'til retains the capability of employing an astromech droid to provide assistance to the pilot. Assistance is often, though not limited to, in-flight operations, basic navigation, and minor repairs.
  • Elegant - The Command variant of the Miy'til retains many of the design aspects and aesthetics of the original design. This can be seen in the sweeping lines and sharp angles that dominate the physical aspects of the craft and point to a design that has a focus on Speed and Maneuverability.
  • Enhanced Armaments - The primary weapon systems of the Command variant are known to be increased over their standard Miy'til Starfighter counterparts.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Deployment - Owing to its classification and title, the Command variant of the Miy'til Starfighter is only deployed in limited numbers. This can be seen in their smaller squadron sizes when compared to the standard Miy'til Starfighter Squadron.
  • Sublight Drive Systems - Maintaining the original design aspects of Hapan-based Starships has also resulted in the unfortunate retention of drawbacks included with those designs. As such, the location of the Drive System is easily accessible and can be damaged, potentially crippling the craft.
  • Forward Firing - The main weapon systems of the Command variant are locked in the forward-firing position and are incapable of being shifted or oriented into any other firing arc.
DESCRIPTION
The Miy'til Starfighter remains the staple Superiority Starfighter of the Hapan Royal Navy and continues to serve in the Hapes Consortium as well as beginning to see deployment alongside Galactic Alliance Naval Forces due to the alliance established between the two Governments. Furthering the development of this craft saw designers and mechanics rediscovering a variant that was often limited in its deployment due to its cost to produce. Enter the GADF Command variant of the Miy'til Starfighter that has begun to slowly join formations throughout the combined Galactic Alliance and Hapan Fleets. At this moment the GADF Command variant is still deployed in limited numbers and only in the hands of capable Starfighter Commanders which accounts for their smaller squadron sizes when compared to the squadron sizes of a standard Miy'til Starfighter.

Carrying over the Hapan designs and their love of beauty has seen many of the original aesthetics and designs of the Miy'til being retained in the Command variant. Unfortunately, this has also resulted in drawbacks being retained, such as the exposed Sublight Drive Systems which are easily accessible, with this ease of access meaning that the Drive Systems can be damaged, crippling the Starfighter. However, it also retains the capability to employ an Astromech Droid thanks to the port located behind the cockpit, with the droid assisting with in-flight operations, basic navigation, and minor repairs, to name a few tasks that the droid can handle. The Command variant is also known to carry an increased armament over a standard Miy'til, and provides an additional punch when it comes to engaging an enemy craft.

It is only a matter of time before the conflict between the Galactic Alliance and the Mandalorians reaches a fever pitch and war erupts between the two sides. During this conflict, pilots will prove their mettle and it will be an elite cadre at the core of the Starfighter Corps that will be deployed in the GADF Command Miy'til Starfighter. The craft denotes its pilot's own accomplishments as well as providing an effective Superiority craft for the Galactic Alliance Defense Forces.
