- Flak Hurricane: The Tenacity is designed expressly with one major purpose. To act as a massive anti-starship shield for larger ships. It's 12 Spear Thrower Flak Cannons allow it to create a huge wall of flak, allowing larger craft to engage heavier targets with impunity.
- Dropship: The Tenacity, on top of acting as an Anti-Starship Cruiser, also acts as a transport vessel for marines, allowing for smaller missions to be carried out with defensive assurance. The Tenacity has a modular docking port, allowing for anything from dropships, to armored transports, to bombers to dock onto it and be carried to their intended targets. Along with this, the Tenacity has a full barracks allowing for a platoon of marines to fit comfortably in their quarters between missions.
- I See You: The Tenacity is equipped with extremely long range sensors, designed to spot enemy craft before they can see them, thus negating the possibility of ambushes of smaller craft.
- Escort?: The Tenacity was designed with only the single docking port, and thus, while it has docking ports to allow it to link to larger ships, it is incapable of linking with more than a single smaller craft. It's on it's own.
- TURN!: The Tenacity is known for it's low speed, intended to sit back and defend larger, less maneuverable ships rather than acting as a forward assault vessel.
The Consular Class Ship had been once a staple of the Old Republic's naval forces, acting as both a light cruiser, and diplomatic vessel.
Jonyna Si
, head of Si Tech, had spent years using one as her homebase, thus when she came out of the ice 900 years later, the sentimental attachment to the ship made her want to revamp the design. With the help of her lead designer Rara, a new generation, named after Jonyna's original ship, allowed the Tenacity to live on.Now the Tenacity Class, a ship designed to escort larger dreadnaughts and battlecruisers with it's heavy flak batteries, the ship is designed as a massive deterrent for enemy small craft, allowing the GA's heavier hitters to worry less about swarms of attack craft, and more on the enemy's main battle line. Equipped with the latest in state of the art sensors and armament, Si Tech designed the ship to act as the forward shield of the navy, and a dropship for planetary missions, allowing the Tenacity to act as a heavy in-atmosphere bulwark for invasion forces, and a go-between between the Marines and the Navy.
