Faction From Dusk [First Order, Sith Empire, Chiss Ascendancy]

Csalpar, the capital of Csilla and the Chiss Ascendancy. The heart of the once powerful nation, now rebuilt to it's former glory. It was here that the new future of the Chiss Ascendancy would rise and begin. On this day, Alis'ila'miurani had called upon the allies of the Chiss Ascendancy of old in order to ascertain the status of those alliances made long ago. She needed to know that her allies would continue to stand beside her and her people through this time of transition. That is why she called them to her home, personally. It was meant to make a statement. A statement she hoped would not offend, but show that she is strong and the Ascendancy was still strong.

The House Miurani Aristocra opened the doors to the Ambassador Suite within the House Palace. Within this magnificent room was a lounge area with several luxurious seats, a large fireplace, and Chiss art. In the room connected to the suite, there was a meeting room with a large metallic table surrounded by high class chairs. At the head of the table, Sila took her seat and began looking through several datapads feeding her constant information. Her assistant stood at her side, communicator in ear as she awaited to be informed of the arrival of Alis'ila'miurani's guests. These guests were waited on by a diplomat and several guards at the starport just outside of the House Palace.

The scene was set, now all it would take was a little faith and the Force to guide the hand of fate.

Chiss Ascendancy

The Dark Star loomed over the frigid world of Csilla, the Emperor's personal yacht drifting across the shimmering atmosphere of the Chiss homeworld as other ships congregated nearby. Some were of obvious Chiss origin, but many others were an assortment of different design philosophies from all across the galaxy.
The Chiss had called their allies to their homeworld as a show of solidarity, and many of them came with haste.
Among them was the Sith Emperor and his contemporaries, who knew that a renewed accord with their Chiss allies would be crucial in securing influence in this portion of the galaxy. Having liberated their homeworld from the Jen'ari heretics, the Emperor knew that he himself had to arrive in-person. Anything else in his stead would have been an insult to the Aristocra he bound himself to through political marriage.
His shuttle, the Crestfallen, descended through the cold clouds towards the nearest spaceport of Csaplar, the capital city of Csilla. During the fight against the Jen'ari, the city had suffered significant damage to its infrastructure and habitation. The Empire had pledged civil engineers and resources to its reconstruction, and it was pleasing to see the city restored to its former glory. His shuttle settled down on the landing deck, boarding ramp extending to allow the Emperor and his entourage to vacate the ship and rendezvous with the Chiss diplomat and the guards that awaited them.
It would not be long before they were ushered into the House Palace to mingle with the Chiss leaders.

Sabella knew very little of the Chiss, so much so that an invitation to this formal event was too difficult to pass up; a chance to visit a new planet and a reason to feed Sabella's interest in formal events was too alluring. On arrival from a shuttle from one of the looming Imperial vessels in orbit, Csilla was gorgeous yet freezing cold, thankfully the shuttle had sufficient heating to make the journey rather pleasant.

Once the shuttle had landed and Sabella disembarked it was clear that the Chiss did not take any half measures judging by what was laid out waiting for the guests. She stood there for a good minute, sizing up the Chiss capital deciding what to think only to be approached by a diplomat and a selection of guards, all looking particularly clean and uniform, a notion that Sabella greatly respected.

Shortly a conversation between the Sith and Diplomat followed, discussing quite a plethora of subjects on presentation as they made their way to the House Palace...

Rama'ive'nuruodo stood to the side of the doors to the ambassador suite, watching a variety of Sith trickle in to the meeting. Along with the other Chiss representing the military she wore a crisp white dress uniform that bore her commendations, and her usually unkempt hair was tied into a small bun behind her head.

This wasn't her first time dealing with the Sith, and she was happy for another chance to learn about the Ascendancy's often mysterious benefactors. The Sith Empire was one of the few nations she had never been to with the Defense Force, but she knew that their nation was a historic friend of her own. Countless wars of eons past they had aligned, often to much success or so she had been taught.

She gave quick bows to the approaching Sith lords to show her respect. She knew that dozens of topics would need to be discussed tonight, but the question that stuck to her mind was on the nature of the civil war that now engulfed the Empire, and what roll they might call the Chiss to...

Chiss Ascendancy

As the new Dark Councilor for the Pyramid of Galactic Influence, it would almost be an insult to the Chiss Aristocra and their Ascendancy if Taeli had not accompanied the Emperor to such high level discussions. Having returned from her recuperation on Genesia, Taeli had begun reviewing the state of the Sith Empire's alliances, their diplomatic services, their intelligence networks, everything that fell within her purview. She might love her work; the creation of new alchemical creatures always gave her a thrill and discovering lost secrets of the dark side or creating brand new ones was always a highlight of her day. But this...

She absolutely loved the world of politics, espionage, hidden back room dealings, and all the other skullduggery and public meetings and deals. It was what made her so effective at creating Operation Eclipse.

The last time she had been to Csilla… the liberation from the Jen'ari heretics. She had literally strolled into the Chiss's archives and secured it from the Jen'ari without ever getting shot at, protecting the valuable information the Chiss guarded fiercely about the Unknown Regions. Now, she and the Sith returned for better circumstances.

"It's always nice to check up on friends," she muttered to the Emperor as their ship landed and they were ushered towards House Palace. "Perhaps we can strengthen them further."

It was good to be home. The older Chiss hadn't been to his maternal home world for nearly a decade but he still maintained constant contact with the Ascendency. So much so that he had gotten to know the various Admirals of the CEDF quite personally.

He stood along side his Emperor and Lady Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf and wore his Sith uniform with pride. "Your majesty, Lady Raaf" he spoke softly to both of them. It was considered rude to say anything else to someone of thier high stature so instead he offered them a slight bow followed by a crisp salute.

He may have been old, but he was still fit. He wasn't a diplomat, the catastrophe with the New Imperial Order proved that much, if anything. But he was good listener and a sound tactician. Whatever his people tried, he would be able to decipher.

He silently awaited a reply from them both while thinking about his childhood. If only he could warn himself to take credit for his accomplishments. If he did, he wouldn't have to work to earn the respect of the Emperor, for he would have already had it

"Have you ever been to Csilla, father?" Reva asked Abaddon who watched the planet's atmosphere break against the viewports of the ship.

"I have not had the pleasure," he replied simply.

The pilot curled his lips in surprise and flipped on several motion-dampeners as the ship finally broke orbit,
"That's unfortunate. It's a lovely place. The Chiss here are a weird bunch, but you get used to them after a while."

"I imagine they are."

The planet was indeed lovely, although the coldness of its environment gave Abaddon some worry, frost beating against the viewports as the city of Csaplar came into view. Like most Chiss architecture that Abaddon had come accustomed to throughout his travels, the city was shimmering like silver against the ice and snow, built to a restored glory from the efforts of the Empire and the Ascendancy. It was pleasing to Abaddon's eyes and he was interested to see how the events of the day would transpire, although he could not deny the ever-present worry that his affliction would return. His various efforts to cure his affliction had proven somewhat decent, but the threat was always there like an infection in a closed wound. He had to be wary throughout the day, Abaddon decided as Obsidian Quake finished its docking procedures into Csaplar.

"Who's coming with, father?" Reva asked whilst following his sire towards the cargo bay.

Abaddon nodded to each individual crew member aimed to depart the ship as well, but kept his focus on his son,
"You all have leave to explore the city within reason. Feng and Serapis have opted to come with me to the diplomatic meetings. However, you are to watch over Aufastes and Sossa. I don't want them running amuck and ruining things for us."

Reva frowned, but agreed all the same, "Yes, father."

Ariel's eyes combed over the photograph of her cousin, Natasi Fortan. She wondered what her cousin would do, no, she knew what her cousin would do but the question now became would it be what she would do? You must step outside of my shadow, and cast one of your own dear cousin. It was as if Natasi was in the very room. The FIV Concordia, a prototype from Primo Victoria crossed the void on its way to Csilla. Ariel drew a deep breath and exhaled she kept within her mind the past, the present, and the future. A heavy burden, but a burden that she chose to carry - one she picked up from the ashes of death and took with her.
Commander Tae Sun-Shin alerted Ariel to their imminent arrival. Newly minted Moff Renata Westaway along with Moff Arador Terrix Arador Terrix had been requested to join Ariel at the conference, but understandably Dosuun and Seoul needed management. Ariel gave herself a once over in the mirror and adjusted the black uniform, her hands dusting either shoulder. Shoulders square, head high, walk with pride - and own the room. Confident of her appraisal and looks, the young Moff departed her personal chambers and headed for the hangar.

On the shuttle, Ariel realized she may be in the same room with someone on a personal level. She's a representative of the Sith Empire and not of any relation to you when you enter that room, do I make myself clear? Once more the voice of Natasi Fortan seemed to enter into Ariel's mind. A staunch reminder that Taeli Raaf was just a representative of the Sith Empire. Not someone she had seen in her home, not her stepmother, no. The shuttle broke through the atmosphere with ease and seemed to glide toward its designated port where a contingent of security awaited her.
Not that the young Moff hadn't arrived with her own gleaming in alabaster plastoid armor, Stormtroopers. Or even the ever-watchful eyes of the FOSB, Ariel acknowledged the contingency with a nod. She was led toward the House Palace and took only but a moment to marvel at Csilla's architecture as they walked toward the designated meeting location. The First Order was in no shape to do much of anything but perhaps listen, and maybe, she could head off the last of the Hegemony while she was there.

As the many allies of the Chiss Ascendancy began to arrive, Sila watched from the windows of the meeting room of the Ambassador Suite, ensuring each of her guests were properly greeted and guided into the House Palace. The Aristocra could see the Sith Empire came in strength. Even the Sith Emperor arrived. To a normal being, a chill would have ran up their spine at the sight of the Sith Emperor. However, the Chiss were raised and trained to be above that. Sila flashed a slight smirk instead. Then, Sila noticed the arrival of diplomats of the First Order. She was glad to know that they were still fighting the good fight in their part of the galaxy despite the many hardships that had befell them. They were much like the Chiss Ascendancy in that they were persistent and strong-willed in seeing their nation thrive despite what obstacles lay before them.

As the arrivals approached the Ambassador Suite, their guides would lead them inside and towards the meeting room, where Sila awaited them. Her crimson eyes looked upon her guests as she greeted them with a warm smile followed by a courteous bow.

"Welcome, friends and allies of the Chiss, to Csilla. I am Alis'ila'miurani, you may call me Sila. I am Aristocra of one of the Ruling Houses of the Chiss Ascendancy. I am very glad you all have answered my calls to speak of our diplomatic ties to one another. I trust that your journey here was swift and without troubles. Please, take your seat wherever you'd like so that we may begin." Sila began as she stood behind her seat at the head of the table, awaiting for the others to find their seats.
