Public Fly me to Naboo....

CONSTABLE KNIGHT
Ra listened to the man and then silently turned to look at the house when he wondered aloud if they should approach. "You've already crashed through their waterfall gate," she replied with a bit of a smirk afterward. Assuming the current occupants even knew about the secret entrance. Assuming it was a secret entrance and not the main one. "It would be a shame if you didn't at least say hello. Maybe tell them where you stood as a young lad to measure their height. You know," her milky gaze turned back to him, "let them know you're not invading."

A peek was made back at Ala for a moment with a small smile on Ra's lips. Two rather tall people. Caltin looked like he could rip a tank in half, and Ra's uncovered mechanical arm could certain put a hole through something. Of course, what she'd said had been in jest.

"You came all this way. It would be a shame if you turned back now," Ra added after a moment on a more serious note.

Joran Del-Finn

Smuggler by day. Snuggler by night.
Joran Del-Finn, Captain Joran Del-Finn exhaled a cloud of cigar smoke as he leaned back on a couch made from Kashyykian ronto leather, propping his feet up on the polished wroshyr wood coffee table knocking over several empty bottles as he did so, they made a loud clatter as some went skidding across the stone floor. It wasn’t the most comfortable seat but it was damned expensive, over a thousand credits for the couch and chit five times that amount for the table.

Everything in this damnable house was expensive Joran thought as he stared up at the marble ceiling of the drawing room. On the ceiling was a beautiful painted mural depicting the founding of Theed. Beautiful half built buildings, majestic waterfalls, and men in golden armor were found on the enormous painting but Joran’s eye was always drawn to the woman in the painting. She was dressed in an ostentatious pearl white dress, her dark hair was done up in some impossible fashion with a golden head dress. She was the first queen of Naboo or some queen, Joran didn't actually know if she was the first, but she was always what caught his attention, not because the artist, whoever it was had made her shockingly beautiful or anything but because whoever painted this scene made her small. A child. And they had drawn her as afraid. Why? Joran could not say but he spent hours looking and trying to figure out the answer. Maybe that was the answer.

“Joran, do you have any more Renan wine?” a woman’s voice called from behind the bar. The bar too was something of wild expense. Joran could not remember the type tree which was used in its crafting but he did know it had come from Batorine. A world of artisans and assassins, neither of which came cheap.

“Never mind, I found it.” She called as she opened the stopper and poured the red liquid into a crystal glass. The dark red wine matched the color of her hair.

She drained her glass in three big gulps and poured another looking at him hungrily.

And who would blame her? Joran was six and a half feet tall and muscled like a maiden’s fantasy and at the moment was laid out before her practically naked. Laying on the couch in nothing more than his boxer briefs and knee high black socks. Laying there he looked as much like a work of art as anything else found in the drawing room, scars and all.

She was wearing something skimpy, the finest lingerie to be found on the planet, or that's what she claimed but Joran knew it was just some knock off.

They looked at each lustfully but before they could do anything more about it an alarm rang out

“Kriffing hell is that?” he asked. His companion Lara...Laura...lyra? He couldn’t remember. was looking at a data screen that folded itself out from the wall behind the bar.

“It says the...waterfall has been breached.” She said helpfully. Well it would of been helpful if it had made any kriffing sense.

“I told you no spice, Love.”

“I didn’t take no spice you nerf herder.”

“Well turn that chit off” He told her. She pushed a few buttons and the noise stopped. Hopefully that would be the last disruption.

Alright. However, take heed in knowing that it was my brother n law and I that dug that tunnel as a secondary entrance. The frontage road to our left leads to the main throughway.

Ala’s shyness was not lost on the big guy, she was never good at taking a compliment and neither was he. However, there was nothing that he said about her that was not the truth, he could recount several times where he almost lost it, almost gave in, or gave up and Ala, just by being “her” kept him grounded. That is no doubt why when she went missing, he was so determined, so driven to find her, even when the others gave up, he would not. Even when he eventually came to the realization that he may never find her, it was either his subconscious or the Force itself that reminded him of who she was… who he was.

Remember, I was born on Coruscant, this is where Tyria and Arestul built, I technically held the deed to the land.

As they got out of the speeder, the memories of the place started to rush in. The family gatherings, when they met Alia, so much happened here, and probably so much more. Just looking at the place as they walked up brought a huge resplendent smile to his face. Whether they could walk in, or just stand outside and look around, he was glad that they made the trip and even happier that Ala was there with him. He needed family around him now more than ever, and she was as much as ever. Sure there was always the Silvers, but they were not the Jedi of old, he could not confide in them…

... especially after that last meeting about Shan…

Thank you for coming with us, for letting us come here. I know that I haven’t said it to this point and that it might come with your job. I just wanted you to know, it’s appreciated.

A polite smile and headnod to Ra and they were at the front door.

This is something that I never thought I would do in my lifetime.

Knock Knock.

... YET THE DAWN ALWAYS COMES.

While Ra and Caltin continued to talk, Ala found herself lost in the environs of the mansion's surroundings. She was darting from fountain, to shrubbery, to manicured hedge and back to the fountain. All the way along there were oooohs and aaaahs a plenty. At one interval Ala caught a glimpse through some of the curtains into a room along the side of the house. The lights were on.

She shouldn't have, but she craned her neck a little and squinted to see through the curtains and...

"Oh my..."

Averting her eyes quickly, Ala felt a rush of blood colouring her cheeks.

She sped over to Caltin to stop him from knocking...on...the...door...

"Too late."

Joran Del-Finn

Smuggler by day. Snuggler by night.
A knock could be heard in the distance, traveling from the front door through the foyer and down the hall to where Joran and Lara? Lyra? His companion were. They exchanged surprised glances neither expecting such unexpected company.

“See who it is.” He told her.

“See who it is?” She repeated at him like he was incredibly stupid “How?”

“Use the security panel that was alarming at us.” He told her with a clear tone of “Duh”

“Use the security panel.” She said more to herself than him while she was turning from side to side and once all the way around, then ducking behind the bar before popping back up and saying “It’s gone.” and it was. It seemed whatever she had done to stop the alarm had the effect of the panel going back in the wall where it came with no clear way on how to get it back.

“So, go answer the door.” He told her with the same tone that suggested he was tired of coming up with solutions.

“Go answer the door?”

“What are you a chatter monkey, repeating every kriffing thing that comes out of my mouth?” He questioned clearly past the point of being annoyed.

“Isn’t this your house?” She asked him indignantly, not happy with his tone at all. He paused not entirely sure how to answer that question.

The honest answer would be...maybe. He didn’t actually know. He knew that his father used it as a base of operations when the clan had business this far in the core. He knew that he had used it for similar purposes when he himself needed a good base to run the smuggling business out of. He also knew it was the reason he had come to Naboo almost three decades earlier, he never did make it to the big house on that trip.

Her question must have been rhetorical because she did not even wait for an answer before continuing “Beside you want me to answer the door...in this?” She made a hand gesture toward her uhm...clothes. A lacey pink number that was so sheer it was see through, a push up bra that shoved the girls so far up to her chin it made her look like she was constantly scanning the horizon and underwear that was an abbreviation for “guitar string”. it was, Joran had to admit maybe not a good idea for her to go to the door.

Joran set his cigar in the ashtray and made his way to the door, sliding along the wooden floor of the hallway in his socks like he was on skates. Finally he got to the door and swung it open. Those who had been waiting would be greeted by the sight of a massive man standing over six and a half feet tall and almost weighing three-hundred pounds with no fat on his body, just scars and tattoos, standing in the door frame in nothing but silk boxers and knee high socks.
He however was greeted by a sight he was wholly unprepared for. His clone or something was standing right in front of him.

“What the frell.”

"My job?" Ra looked over at Caltin. "I was just filling in for someone. Normally the dock master wouldn't have time for sight seeing." A smile tugged at her lips. "But you're welcome. Even if you did manage to find your way here after eight hundred years on your own, still sounded like a good idea to make sure that happened." She'd been a little curious about these two as well. Everything had lined up rather well. It had certainly been a trip, and they'd only just arrived at the mansion.

When they were in front of the door her milky gaze turned toward Caltin at his remark. Why hadn't he thought this would happen again? Family history or just whatever brought these two centuries in the future? She'd save such personal questions for when the answer wouldn't smack the current owner in the face the second they opened the door.

Speaking of which, the door did open. To a half-naked man.

State of dress aside, Ra focused on the face for a moment. "This could be good news," she said for Caltin's benefit, "or extremely awkward." Maybe the place had been handed down through the generations? Maybe Caltin wasn't the first to come back? Or maybe there only being so many genetic sequences and with eight centuries apart statistically Caltin and Joran shared a remarkable resemblance. Whatever the case, there was sure to be some interesting 'hellos.' Not to mention Ala looking a tad flustered about something.

For the moment, Ra remain silent, but she turned her head and looked over at Caltin expecting him to say something for the group. She doubted he'd be tongue-tied, but she'd step in if she had to. Whip up some... story to explain whatever this was.

Jax's X-Wing touched down near the Caltin residence, the Jedi sighed removing his helmet and undergoing the last parts of the landing cycle. He was invited to the Caltin family to celebrate a mission Jax did 6 years ago. In truth Jax forgot what he did to make the family so grateful to him and even BB-12 was just as puzzled as he was. Still it was nice to unwind after the hell he endured in Ziost, besides Jax was rarely thanked for his deeds even though he wasn't actively looking for praise it was good to see whatever kindness he did to the Caltins pay off. <So Naboo,> BB-12 beeped as Jax opened the hatchet. <Our last stop in a civilized society before we head to the black hole of the galaxy known as Jakku.>

"Well it's gonna be our new home for awhile," Jax said climbing out of his X-Wing. "I was tasked by the NJO to help the Jakku Enclave get established. Gonna help them with some saber skills and even assist in uncovering lost artifacts buried beneath Jakku. Besides, gotta build my Lighsaber and Master Romi Jade Romi Jade was more than happy to help me."

<Oh whoppie,> BB-12 plopped himself from his hatch and began to follow Jax. <Nothing to find but sand, sand and more sand.>

"Keep that attitude up," Jax said. "And your ass is going to go crazy."

<I'm going crazy now Jax.> BB-12 said. <Why the frack would Romi build an Enclave in a damn dustbowl?>

"Who knows?" Jax shrugged. "All I care about is helping fellow Jedi and building my Lightsaber. Try to focus on the positives you know?"

<There ain't no positives Jax,> BB-12 beeped. <But you know what? I'll take your advice! I'll think of a way to make Jakku great! You know what it needs?!>

"An education system? A government?"

<No!> BB-12 beeped as they approached the entrance. <A Casino! Complete with a Pizza Parlor, slot machines, deathsticks, booze and hookers! That's what a boring planet like Jakku needs!>

"I'm sure the locals will worship you like a God," Jax rolled his eyes as he knocked on the door.

<As they should!> BB-12 beeped. <I'm bringing those people culture! They should kowtow to my infinite wisdom!>

Son of a mother...

Caltin was not "tongue-tied", for the first time in a long time he was rendered completely speechless. There was, quite literally a mirror, though half-naked, image standing in front of him. The Old Caltin would be throwing hands, but that was when this was his house, was it still? Was this guy a clone? It was possible, the tech was out there, after all, look at Ala. He needed to speak up, but what was there to say right now? He could not sense the Force on the man whatsoever, though he did sense it incoming from somewhere else. An X-wing was incoming? Jax? What the frell was he doing here? Grabbing his temple, Caltin just looked to Ala...

I guess this is what you meant by "too late".

Finding his wits, the massive Jedi Master offered a handshake.

Greetings, Jedi Master Caltin Vanagor. This is my adoptive sister. Jedi Knight Ala Quin, and this is Ra Akimo of the Naboo government. Forgive any intrusion, I used to live here, and was back only to visit and sort of "reminisce".

"What the Frell", huh? Interesting choice of words as Caltin himself was the only one he knew who used the phrase. Was this some sort of elaborate prank? Or was it what his subconscious was telling him all along. After all, eight-hundred + years was eight hundred + years, and maybe, just maybe...

Naw...

... YET THE DAWN ALWAYS COMES.

Too much.

This. Was. All. Too. Much.

There was an X-Wing arriving, Ala didn't know who that was but she thought the ship looked cool. But there was NO TIME to think about cool spaceships. There was a carbon copy of Caltin standing right there in front of them all. And he was...not really...dressed...much...

Ala's hands quickly came up to cover her eyes when she realized that she was pretty much staring at a mostly naked clone of her big brother. It was just weeeeeird. She hated it. Hated, hated, hated it. The awkwardness of it all just crawled up her spine and gave her the heebie jeebies.

Sure, it was probably not Jedi-like behaviour, but this was too much. TOO MUCH.

But then...it is NOT Caltin. Not really.

Her fingers parted for a peek. Eyes all beady-like staring at all...the...muscle...but...

NIPPLES!

Her fingers closed again. NO NO NO. This was toooo much.

"Ah-bah-dah-ba...Cal...wha...Caltin...wha...he..."

Maybe she should just go look at the X-Wing. It would be less embarassing for her.

CONSTABLE KNIGHT
Naboo Government? Might be overstating her position a bit, but under the circumstances a little misinterpretation might help. Not that she expected Caltin's long lost twin or distant descendant would be trouble. Well, actually, given Caltin's tendencies as a Jedi perhaps she should seeing how the half-naked version of him wasn't quite so reserved.

At least the man had found his tongue. Not that Ra blamed him of course. Just because she'd seen some weird things didn't mean she'd ever come across a doppelgänger before. Eight hundred years could do that to you.

Ra turned her head only slightly to regard Ala out of the corner of her eye. Was she hiding her eyes? Was she blushing?

Her milky white gaze peered beyond Joran at that point. Apparently down the hall at the other end of the building someone else was knocking on the door. Seemed like the other occupant in the building might need to go take care of that one. Not that Ra knew what state of dress they were in. The Force didn't give you x-ray vision -- and even if it did x-rays penetrated most clothing like it wasn't there anyway -- just general vibes.

And the vibe right now was 'awkward.'

"Would you mind if we looked around outside?" Ra smiled for a moment. "We didn't meant to intrude." Unless they were going to invite them in for tea, but seeing how Jordan wasn't fully clothed... Well, you never could tell.

Joran Del-Finn

Smuggler by day. Snuggler by night.
Joran looked at his twin’s outstretched hand, looked up at the man himself and felt an unease he was not accustomed to. Joran was a professional after all so his face gave away no hint of his feelings. He looked next at the young woman the other him had gestured toward and called sister, she had her hands over her eyes desperate not to look at him but failing, normally he would of said something cheeky or inappropriate but it was not every day that an almost exact copy of yourself knocked on the door and claimed to be a Jedi master and brought a long with him a second Jedi and a government official.

Joran lived a life that at times put him in situations beyond normal but he could not think of a stranger one than this. Strange and in no way good. There were a couple options of what was going on here and he hated literally all of them. The first was that this man was telling the truth and Joran was facing down two Jedi and governmental representation. That for a man, like captain Del-Finn who made most of his living outside the law was quite frankly, no good. Second this was some elaborate trap by some enemy of his looking to do force knows what. It was easy enough to score some robes and call yourself Jedi. Third, he had drank himself to near death and was hallucinating...by the force he hoped it was that one.

Joran ignored the outstretched hand of the “Jedi” and gave him a look that hard men give other hard men when they wanted it to be clear they were not welcome.

“You had your visit. Reminisce on your ride back home.” He told this Master Vanagor.

“Take a look as you drive off. Through the proper gate this time.” He answered Ra coldly, He wanted no snooping.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The door Jax had been knocking on opened. He was greeted by a round faced redhead who unlike her choice of company had enough grace to cover up with sweatpants and a hoodie.

“Hi.” She said smiling at Jax as she welcomed him inside. “My name is Giselle and you are?” She asked as she led him down the hall toward Joran and the other unexpected visitors.

“Joran! There is someone else here for you...I hope you don’t mind that I let them in.”

Be careful what you wish for.
Oh, that’s how it’s gonna be, huh?

Caltin wanted to punch his lights out, no matter who he was, regardless of his oath as a Jedi. You can be rude to him, he can let that go. Being rude to a guest of his? That was not going to fly. Being rude to ALA? In front of him? Oh FRELL no. Reaching into his pocket and pulling out his comm-link, there was something Caltin could see in the house, the door still being open, that caught his eye and gave him an idea.

“Roller”, pinpoint my location and look up the property records to this address, send them to Ms. Akimo’s datapad, she will give you the frequency. Handing her the device, with a hopeful look in his eyes. If you will indulge me for but a moment.

When the astromech would finally pull up the information and send it to the Naboo Rep. “government” or not, Ms. Akimo would see that while the house is no longer in his name anywhere, the deed to the land was. This was something that his friend and brother n law Arestul told him, the house is often the only thing that changes names, and often sentients just forget to change the names on a land deed. Upon confirmation, that made him remember something else, and Caltin looked to the east lawn, not far from the landing pad where the X-wing, wait, Jax, just touched down.

I wonder…

Shifting over a step to get into a line of sight, Caltin reached out through the Force and searched. Sure enough, he found what he was looking for. Slowly the systems started up, and the “old” landing pad rose from the ground, overgrown grass and plants tearing from the surface having not been touched for centuries. Inside was a relic, an antique, a bucket of bolts that needed a lot of work to get in the air again back in his day, and now it was in horrible shape from the way that father time had taken a rod to it. His old ship, one Ala would recognize, “The Fugitive’s Redemption” sat there. Right where it had been since he pulled it out of the Analic sea on Mon Calamari.

Then when he saw the reason why this man was half-naked walk towards the source of the other knocking, no doubt Jax, he saw something else too. That was over the line.

Out of my way, Sculag.

Using the Force, Caltin literally levitated his doppelganger off to the side and walked in. This was not his house anymore, to be sure, but if he owned the land, then he was walking in and walking right to what he had seen. Right now, this was going to have to be addressed, maybe it was a good thing that other people were here, they could hold him back.

I don't care who you are now...

You have holo-pictures of my sister… my... mother… and… mydaughter up and running here, and I want to know why.

No, he was not a Jedi… not at the moment… oh no he was not.

This was getting out of hand.

Ala had seen Caltin get into moods before. They never usually ended well. Even if it was just him brooding over how he should have had better control, it was never a happy ending. It wasn't like he was a loose cannon or anything. He was way better now, honest!

But the whole 870 year nap time, missing out on his family, and seeing his daughter's kids and all the joy. It weighed heavily on Caltin. She could see it. Also, it made him overprotective. Sure, Ala loved the big guy to the end of the galaxy, but you know...you know.

She could see, and feel that Caltin was getting emotional about this. Just as she moved her hands to rest on his shoulder, hopefully transferring some calming energy, he pushed into the house. "Wait...ah...Caltin...no...."

With a quick step, she followed after. Avoiding eye contact with the Caltin-lookalike, she simply said, "I'm so sorry..."

She made eye contact with the new Jedi, and her eyes simply said, Help!

Ra's attention shifted quickly to Caltin as the exchange unfolded. Light. Dark. Positive. Negative. Good. Bad. Whatever continuum you wanted to use, she could feel Caltin's demeanor shift hard in the negative side of the spectrum. Anger. Anger led to trouble, and trouble led to someone getting hurt. Not something she expected from a Jedi, but it was a good thing she was there regardless.

The Constable accepted the data his droid sent over. Oh, she didn't have a comlink embedded in her head. No that would have been far too much. Her arm linked with the datapad though, which had a receiver, and the information just popped in there. Looked like title or deed information. Looked like she was on the clock all of a sudden. So much for a little side work for a friend at the dock -- even if that shift had already ended.

"Cal, this gets into some legal areas I'm not sure--" Ra paused to look over her shoulder as a hidden or lost landing pad began to emerge. "What are you doing?" The Arkanian's features firmed up as her milky whites fixed on the man beside her. Seemingly unrelated, unexplained actions happening one after another had her worried where this was all going. Some kind of show of ownership?

"Caltin Vanagor," the tall woman snapped as the man stormed into the house after forcibly removing the twin aside. "Compose yourself before I am forced to detain you," Ra said with a raised and sharp voice. The man had just affirmed the house was not in his name. Trespassing was against the law, and she was an officer of the law. Perhaps galactic law or Confederate law above all else, but every level had a statute against trespassing.

She stepped into the house mindful of how Joran would react to this new development. Stopping a brawl had not been on the things she wanted to do on her personal time. Even on Naboo she couldn't avoid getting sucked in to a possible fight... and this all turned upside down Ra felt Caltin's experience would make him a seriously difficult opponent.

"Everyone needs to stop and calm down." Not that anyone ever listened to that line.

Joran Del-Finn

Smuggler by day. Snuggler by night.
Karking Jedi he thought as he was lifted through the air and moved out of his own doorway. Joran for the most part and for very few exceptions did not involve Jedi in his life and this was proof as to why. They were arrogant presumptuous sorcerers who thought the galaxy and those who lived in it were nothing more than set dressing in their stories. Joran was not set dressing. He reached for his blaster and came up with nothing, he was after all practically naked. It looked like it was gonna be time to talk.

“Listen mate, I don’t know what the kriff you’re on about.” Joran said talking over both Ala and Ra. The two women seemed to be doing what they could to make sure the situation did not escalate any further. But There was an edge to his voice. He might be naked and unarmed but for good or ill Joran Del-Finn was not one to abide threats. Implied or otherwise.

“I don’t care what you want to know. Get the frell out of my house or you and I are going to have an issue.” He wasn’t exactly sure if this even was his house. His dad had used it for a while running his mercenary operation from here and maybe living here, Joran honestly did not know. He himself had only begun using the house in recent years and not very often, Joran hadn’t even been in all the rooms.

“Those pictures were here when I showed up. And that-” he said pointing to the holo that Caltin had said was his daughter “That is me gram.”

Ms. Akimo, I will face whatever consequences you decide on and pay whatever fines you wish, but since I still hold legal title to the land I am entitled to be here. I will also not leave until this individual answers my questions.

This guy, whoever had answers to give, and he wasn’t doing so. In fact, he was doubling down and that only made Caltin plant his feet even more. Maybe this was to his detriment, but this was not something he was giving up on, especially since this guy was dodging the question. Wait, who did he say Alyscia was? That drew his attention, but not his ire. One thing about the big guy was he would normally get even angrier when it came to his female family, but it had been a long time, this was a mystery now.

Ala’s thoughts betrayed her, and that disheartened him, he didn’t hide it either. Sure, she was a grown woman and more than welcome to her opinion, and he wanted honesty, but… well he was always in her corner and it was depressing to think that she was not always in his. That was something that would have to be addressed at another time. Right now he was dealing with this spacer… wait… spacer… with a snap of the finger, his demeanor changed.

Okay… I’ll leave… but your “Gram”. What was her name? Was it Alyksandra? Do you have another picture of her? I ask because that is a picture of my daughter. Also… you’re the one that taught Dagos how to fight, aren’t you? Just tell me the truth, and I'll go.

His next set of questions, the malice in them was gone. There was genuine curiosity, only now he was paying attention, looking for any tells on if the guy was going to play dodgeball with them. No, “Alyksandra” was not the name of his daughter, but he could still be a little protective.

... YET THE DAWN ALWAYS COMES.

To describe the situation as spiralling was an understatement. However, as Ala reached Caltin to stand before him and try to come him with a Force-filled reassuring touch, she caught sight of the images that Caltin had been referencing. His family. His real family.

Her eyes now looked on him with a renewed sensitivity and warmth. Caltin was not a problem to solve. He was a friend in need. Her reaction had been the opposite of toughtful, verging on self-interested.

Calm yourself, Ala Quin. Trust him.

Instead of interferring, she simply stepped aside and let the situation play out as it would. If anything trended towards aggression, sure, she would step in, but only as a peacemaker.

"How are you?" Jax smiled to the red headed woman while also noticing the conundrum unfolding behind her. "Looks like I missed the main event! Hello there Master Caltin!" The Jedi felt rather awkward entering the middle of an argument, sure as a Jedi Knight it was his job to be a mediator but when he was taking a break it was just best to keep to themselves. Yet as Master Oda has taught Jax, a Jedi's work is never done.

<Holy chit,> BB-12 beeped. <I didn't know the Catlin has twin! He looks just like him! Bald with bulging muscles gained by steroids and look that says: I have a stick in ass!>

"Hey show some respect!" Jax yelled at his droid while whispering that he was sorry to the red headed woman. "We are guests here you know?"

<That was me being respectful,> BB-12 beeped. <Hey Cat!> He said. <I've left my bongos at Coruscant because Jairdain Jairdain wouldn't allow me to bring them. So I was wondering if I can practice on your head!>

Jax gave a nervous laugh at the people. "He was just joking master!" Jax said. "BB-12 like to joke you know? And to everyone here my name is Jax Thio: Jedi Knight of the Galactic Alliance. The Vanagor family invited to celebrate something I've for them years ago."

<It was so great.> BB-12 beeped. <That they didn't tell us our deed, it seems that dementia runs in the Vagagors as well as male pattern baldness.>

Jax kicked BB-12 as hard as he could. "Oh you know that BB-12 master!" Jax chuckled. "Always joking."

<Does this place have beer?> BB-12 beeped as he rolled past Jax. <Gimmie a Beer or I'll kill you all!>

The Jedi sighed as he saw his droid rolling away from the family "you promised to be on your best behavior chitbag," he thought bitterly. "So how are you guys?" he said realizing that his forehead was full of sweat.

CONSTABLE KNIGHT
Ra mentally sighed. That wasn't how the deed worked unless there was a contract establishing that right. Nonetheless, the purported owner of the dwelling wasn't availing himself of her or the law -- which was curious -- and instead chose to confront Cal directly. Perhaps there was something more than met the eye to the situation.

The Arkanian was about to suggest that Joran answer the question truthfully to resolve this matter in the most expeditious manner possible when Jax spoke up. Jax and a BB unit that had more than a minor personality matrix glitch. Just what the volatile situation required. If Ra was less experienced in the Force she might have questioned whether these men were actually Jedi.

Well, she already wondered about Caltin's background at this point. Seeing how he was Jax's Master... All they needed was a Sith Lord to make the situation worse. Or a Nethergate. Either way.

"Gentlemen," the Constable breathed as patiently as possible, "perhaps if we settle the matter of lineage we can put these matters into proper perspective? If you are family I doubt your ancestors or progenitors would want you killing one another." She hadn't forgotten Ala or the other woman present, but neither of them were doing anything foolish enough to demand their attention.

Joran Del-Finn

Smuggler by day. Snuggler by night.
Chit. What was her name? Joran and his own father spent most of his adult life...estranged. Jonas Del-Finn was a hard man and a warrior of great renown and unrivaled skill or so Joran had grown up hearing. For Joran’s experience his father was an arrogant, short-tempered brute with the stubbornness of a reek during the rut and those traits had led to Joran’s father Jonas and his father having an explosive falling out, and so Joran had met his father’s parents maybe a half dozen times in all of his life.

Alyce sounded right...yes that was it, Gam Alyce was what he and his cousins had called her, but Joran had no clue what this guy was talking about, that she was his daughter or looked like her or whatever but if all it took to get this anger drunk Jedi out of “his” house was to answer a question or two he would be glad for it.

“Alyce, actually.” He was about to tell his doppleganger that he did not infact have another photo for him, that he only half remembered being told that was a picture of his mother’s father and to kark off now but he was saved by all that from the sudden-ish appearance of Giselle. She handed him a robe and an actual printed photo she had found in one of the bedrooms. Joran shrugged on the black silk robe and some modicum of modesty while looking at the picture. It was the same woman that was in question from the holo pic, she was sitting out in the garden of this very house wearing a nubian silk dress the color of polished pearl standing in front of a a bush in full bloom with blue roses. On the back was an message.

Alyce, your love is a gift I don’t feel worthy to receive

-Love Lomas

Joran held the photo out for his twin to take.

The interruption of the new Jedi and his droid did not go unnoticed but Joran felt the more pressing concern was getting everyone calm and karking gone but if time permitted he would be glad to burn in a hole in that BB unit.

“If you like that droid...and I don’t see how you could, you would be wise to shut him up.” he said to Jax.

Joran whispered something to Giselle and she disappeared off into the drawing room once again.

Joran turned to Ra after her suggestion of trying to figure just how or if he and Jedi were related.

“You barge into my home and I should be the one to prove I belong here?” He asked scathingly.

“Dagos?” What the frell? This guy was all over the map. “Yeah, I taught the kid for a while. What’s it to you?” Joran was hoping that a Jedi asking about Dagos wasn’t a bad thing.

After a moment Giselle came back in the room wrapped one arm around him and handed him a drink with her free arm and with her other hand she snuck him a small hold-out pistol hopefully out of sight of the innumerous amount of Jedi that now filled his foyer.
