Hangar: 8 Squadrons

Special Features: TBD

Maneuverability Rating: 18
Speed Rating: 18
Hyperdrive Class: 1

Strengths:
[+] Resupply: The Voyager-class Support Carrier can also be classified as a supply ship, in that it carries fuel, ammunition and other cargo to resupply other Imperial vessels. Her slow speed enables to provide a steady support, and line of fuel when refueling other Imperial vessels.

[+] Bombers: The Voyager-class is uniquely equipped to carry more than your average amount of bomber squadrons, specifically enabling her to provide atmosphere to ground support in the form of bomber submission.

Weaknesses:
[-] Light Guns: The Voyager-class has given up her teeth, so that she might have more hangar room, and because of this the Voyager is reliant on escort vessels to provide cover fire for her as she is not adequately able to do so on her own.

[-] Lumbering Giant: Voyager is not fast and is not able to turn on a dime, she is again reliant on other vessels to provide screens for her as she primarily carries bombers, and is meant to refuel and resupply over ships.

[-] Gas Station: Essentially the Voyager is a mobile gas station, and mobile payload service station this means she very vulnerable. One missile or torpedo breaks through her armor and she is gone, there is no survival rate if the Voyager’s armor is penetrated.

[-] Cool Down: While equipped with repeating turbolasers, these turbolasers fire repeatedly for ninety seconds and require a forty-five second cooldown between firing, otherwise her guns will overheat and jam.

Description: The Voyager-class support carrier is what it is, a support carrier that carries additional ammunition, fuel and resources. She also has the capability of transporting stormtroopers in limited numbers. When Fiolette Yvarro took on Primo Victorian and came across the Voyager’s blueprints, she lowered the rate of speed, armament and defense to give the Voyager the capability of providing support to other vessels. Her form of support includes refueling services, reload of missile payloads, starfighter support and troop transport.

The Voyager is also able to provide atmosphere to ground support in the form of her bombers and troop transport assistance as well as extracting troops from the ground as well. Voyager is also able to take on wounded from evac ships such as the Steadfast in the event that a Blackwell-class medical transport cannot reasonably provide assistance to the theater of operation.

Given what she’s meant to do, there have only been four Voyager-class ships built. FIV Voyager, FIV Volunteer, FIV Virtue and the FIV Valorous. At this time there are no plans to create additional ships of her class.

Development Thread: If Necessary

Intent: To create a support carrier to supplement the Vindicator-class Light Carrier and to provide starfighter coverage where necessary. To diversify the First Order Navy and give fleeters and captains more options of ships to choose from.

Description:
The Stormtrooper armor is and has always been a fine piece of equipment for infantry men. It's design can be traced all the way back to the first Mandalorian crusaders. It has proven itself through out the test of time and now the First Order calls upon it again. With the new rising Empire facing many enemies, they seek to create a more advanced variant of the Storm trooper armor for their more elite units.

The armor of the Remnant Forces as well as that of the Sith military was picked apart and much of the defining features were incorporated in making this new armor variant. While the armor cost quiet a bit to make, only the most elite will be chosen to wear it. It's stealth technology would give these select few individuals the edge they'd need.

What came about was a more deadly version of any stormtrooper armor that had come before. Gone were the numerous bumps and lumps that housed many of the suits systems, each now broken done to base elements so that an intricate interior computing system could run all of the systems necessary within the smallest surface space possible.

The base armor was made of several components constructed out of light weight Plastoid. These would be assembled over a sealing bodysuit creating a suit that could survive the vacuum of space for anything up to twenty minutes at a time. With the glove and the separate components energy would be dispersed across the armor rather than through it allowing a trooper to survive shots that would incapacitate his enemy. In the field high energy or overcharged shots remained a threat as they caused punctures through the armor itself, the power not allowing a dispersal of energy.

A Duraplast reinforcement was added, intended to allow the Storm Commando protection from enemy weapons without his shields. The shields were integrated into the armor to further protect the Commando from enemy fire. The hardened nature of the armor allows for the use of limbs as clubs. It also has a built in retractable Vibro-knife for CQC.

The helmet was further improved upon as well. A Range finder was added allowing the individual to measure distances and height's with ease. As well as a standard Macrobinocular system.

Intent: To create an optional armour for use by Knight of Ren characters
Development Thread: Cats on Fire
Manufacturer: Order of Ren
Model: N/A
Affiliation: First Order
Modularity: As the armour comes in separate pieces, it is optional as to which plates the wearer may wish to use. For example, perhaps the wearer would only wish to use the gauntlets, or not use the face guard.
Production: Limited (KoR PCs & NPCs)
Material: Phrik
Classification: Multi-purpose
Weight: Full armour(Plates on chest, legs, gauntlets, face-guard) - 5kg
Quality: 8
Special Features: Lightsaber, blaster, slug, piercing, slicing resistance

Strengths:
+ Protective - Lightsaber, blaster, slug, piercing, slicing
+ Mobility - Phrik is lightweight, creating less of a negative effect on speed than other armours. The person's joints are also free of obstruction from any plates to provide maximum freedom of movement.
+ Customisable - At the user's wish, plates can be removed as desired. For example only the breastplate may be chosen to be used, etc.

Weaknesses:
- Points of Exposure - In return for the mobility comes many weak spots in the armour, namely at the armpits, arms, neck, upper part of face not covered by faceguard, and other joints.
- Kinetic Damage - Being simple plates of armour, the plates may dampen but not stop the kinetic damage caused by sheer blunt force, whether that be from a blunt weapon, a lightsaber, etc.
- Force Penetrable - Phrik provides no resistance against Force powers that could normally penetrate armour.

Description:
Intended to provide maximum protection while preserving mobility and stealth, the Armour of Ren is a simple assortment of a chest-and-back piece, shoulder pads, gauntlets, leg greaves and face-guard provided to give the members of the Order of Ren the best possible advantage in the field. Made available to Disciples, Knights and Masters, the armour is provided as an optional accessory to be used to maximise one's combat effectiveness. As the armour is in separate pieces it is up to the wearer which parts or pieces they will wear.

The armour can be worn underneath robes and is easily concealable, while also offering the Knights of Ren a uniformity with each other that exemplifies their ethos as smaller parts of a greater whole, working in tandem. Made of phrik, the armour is lightweight yet highly durable, able to withstand such attacks from the blows of a lightsaber to blaster fire. The plates of armour are also designed as to not obstruct any joints, providing the maximum possible freedom of movement to the wearer. This comes with its flaws however, as the arms, neck and other joints are exposed.

I think that sounds perfect [member="Wolf"] :) part of the reason I've not got armour or anything is because my character is all about speed and movement on the battlefield so I've been wondering about to approach combat armour for a while as it's the only way to really do the PvPs. This I would wear in a heartbeat!

The Prosperia Junior Campus, viewed from the north side.

Name: Prosperia Junior Academy

Image Source: Mass Effect (upper image), Star Wars: Rebels (lower image, photoshop by me)

Classification: Imperial Academy (Junior Academy)

Location: Prosperia, Dosuun

Affiliation: The First Order

Description: Though not as prestigious as the Academy of Avalonia at Zenith Point, the Prosperia Junior Academy exists to provide quality education for gifted young loyalists. Military education is compulsory, in order to instill the proper discipline and values of service toward the Supreme Leader. Reflecting those traditions of imperial academies, the uniform of the school reflects the grand tradition of cadets dating back to the founding of the first Galactic Empire. Located at the terminus of Transit Station No. 6, the school is served by public transit for those cadets arriving from points on Dostuun distant from Prosperia. Classes in all of the classical disciplines, including history and military science, are taught at the facility in Prosperia. For those cadets whose families are located on colonies away from Dosuun, or which require such services, the academy also serves as a boarding school. Cadets attending may alternate between day student and boarder as family situations may shift due to a variety of reasons, including military deployments and government directed civilian relocations. For some of the more practical military science exercises, the cadets participate in drill or maneuvers in concert with instructors from the nearby Legion Academy at Zenith Base. The majority of students graduating from the Properia Junior Academy will go on to become full-fledged Imperial Cadets at the Legion Academy, while the more gifted may attend more specialized training at academies across the star map.

History: As part of the planning for the reconstruction and revitalization of the city of Prosperia, which took place under the direction of [member="Natasi Fortan"], educational centers were planned for the major metropolitan concentrations in order to capitalize on the need for future talent to be developed, indoctrinated, and identified. The Prosperia Junior Academy opened its doors in 844 ABY, having been constructed on the foundation of what had been a garrison of the Imperial Remnant some several hundred years before. While not the most prestigious academy for young loyalists on Dosuun, the academy offers scholarships and several incentives designed to encourage exchange students and new entrants to the First Order's education system. This has the benefit of both appearing charitable and helping to better spread the message of the Supreme Leader's plan to make the galaxy great again.

Intent: Provide a school for my 11 year old to attend in the First Order, along with any other school age characters that belong to the faction to develop and use in their stories.

Special Features: Listed as;
  • Twenty-One Forward Lounge - One of four alternatives to the messhalls, the Forward Lounge offers live entertainment, a warm meal, a place to play cards and relax after your shift is over. Poetry nights, Avalonian Jazz and Prosperian Blues are also performed. The other three 'lounge' areas are, Fourty-Four Aft Lounge, the Down-Below Engineering Lounge, and the High-Top Medical Lounge.
  • The Commissary - With two onboard locations, the commissary serves as a small market for both officers and enlisted to purchase toiletries, snacks, holo-novels, music and other pleasantries that make life aboard the ship a little easier to bear.
  • Arboretum - Unique to the Warspite is the Arboretum, there are three of them throughout the ship and each one serves as a meditation, relaxation and research purposes. It was noted that military stations with arboretums built in proved to have a healthier, and happier crew which promoted better productivity.
  • Holo-Simulator Suite - New to the fleet overall, the Warspite boasts six small, holo-simulator suites which are to be used for training purposes, and limited recreational uses. Holo-simulators are large draw on power and therefore can only be used outside of combat.
  • Hyigenic Care Centers - Full service laundry and dry-cleaning services, along with a full service hair salon work to keep officers and enlisted clean, maintained and of course looking good with wrinkle-free uniforms.
  • Fitness Centers - Unique the Warspite that her Fitness Centers come equipped with a sauna, and massage therapy bed, along with the standard workout equipment to keep members of the First Order military in fit and proper shape.
  • Extensive Research Center - The Warspite also boasts a research center which serves as a focal point for the First Order medical and scientific community. She boasts, biomedical, biochemical, astrophysical, geometric, botanical, and many other labs that work together to further research and analyze information brought to them from other ships of the fleet.
  • Mobile Imperial Medical Service - The Warspite comes equipped with extensive and uprated onboard medical, including four operating rooms, a medium ambulatory center that can see up to eight people at a time. Her ambulatory center is flanked by an additional four operating rooms. She has a recovery center one floor above it, and intensive care one floor below. She also comes equipped with a dentist and dental surgeon who is on-call, along with standard sickbay compliments.
  • Communication Array - Because the Warspite is built for long range combat she is also equipped with long range communications, enabling the Warspite to become a mobile boardcasting center for the First Order as she is able to spread state propaganda at a more effective rate than other vessels or even towers. She is also able to filter out through multiple channels and assist with naval communications throughout the fleet.
  • Electronic Warfare CM/CCM Systems - Equipped to handle sensor jamming or an attempt to overwhelm sensors, the Warspite can do this at long range as well but with a deprecating rate of return.
  • Bridge - Where the commanding officer and his/her team monitor ship’s vitals and coordinate to ensure mission completion.
  • Tactical-Security Suites - The two departments share suites throughout the Warspite working together with Strategic Operations Officers to coordinate with other ships in the fleet and to maintain both internal and external safety, defense and operations.
  • Logistics Management - As you can imagine a ship of this size would require plenty of logistics management, and thusly you can find various LM offices throughout the ship.
  • Extensive Armory - Just like any First Order vessel the Warspite has an armory, the Warspite's armory is just a bit more extensive than other ships in the fleet.
  • Shooting Range - there are four ranges, however; there are two blaster ranges and two slugthrower ranges and they are paired up as one blaster and one slugthrower. Enabling those aboard to maintain their marksmanship.

  • Main Engineering - Houses the main components of the Warspite’s engines, and this is where you’ll see the most activity with regards to the engine and keeping her well maintained.

  • Lower Engineering - Houses the secondary components to the Warspite's engines this also houses the secondary generators for the redundant shielding system.

  • Magistrate and JAG - The Warspite also offers a small magistrate court and JAG Officers along with JAG personnel to keep law and order enforced throughout First Order Space.

  • Brig - A holding cell for those who need it, and if they are to be detained on a more permenant basis, they will be transferred to the shipboard detention center.

  • Standard Warship Hazard and Damage Control Systems

  • Standard Warship Sensors and Targeting Systems

  • Standard Warship Communications Systems

  • Standard Warship Environmental Control Systems
Maneuverability Rating: 19
Speed Rating: 19
Hyperdrive Class: 1

Strengths:
[+] Tally-Ho: Heavy long range turbolasers and hypervelocity guns, the Warspite was built in the post-Omega era and ready to destroy things at a distance.

[+] Cheers: Built with the same redundancy shield system that the Fortan-class ship has, the Warspite boasts a shield redundancy system enabling her to withstand a little more punishment than what is typical for her class and size.

Weaknesses:
[-] Slow to Go: The Warspite was not built for speed, and was certainly not build to steam across the stars with the likes of the Bolt-class. No, she was built for strength and power, and it has cost her, her speed. She’s a moving target and she knows it.

[-] Wide Turn: Pick a direction and commit to it, the Warspite is not the most maneuverable girl in the stars. Her turn radius is atrocious and is reliant on her guns that give her range and form to hit on either side of her with just one exception, her forward guns.

[-] Face the Enemy: Hypervelocity guns only work in one direction and as such, her most powerful guns are forward facing only, meaning she must be facing her target if she wishes to target them with her big guns. The HVGs are slow to load, charge and aim. She must make every shot with her HVGs count otherwise she may have just become her own worst enemy.

[-] No Screens: The Warspite is without a hangar, not even a lowly scout plane to her name. As such she is quite vulnerable to fighters and their weapons. Without an escort, a task group or any other sort of protection the Warspite by itself will not be able to handle a fight on her own - unless it is against one of her class but fights such as that are far and few between. Caught out in the open and the old Lady finds herself weak and alone.

Description: After the Battle of Castameer the First Imperial Navy realized that they were in sore need of a powerful long range vessel. To this end Admiral Fiolette Yvarro, along with Jude Falkrowe worked together to formulate a ship that could do just that. A ship that would be as grand as the fleet she would serve, and thusly the Warspite was created. The Warspite was built to be a dreadnought, to be slow yet powerful and armed to the teeth to handle things from a distance softening the enemy up for her mid to close range sisters.

The newly acquired shipyards at Ryoone (formerly Curovao Shipyards) now Ryoone Victorian Shipworks, will be part of the three shipyard network to produce the only three Warspites that will exist; the Warspite, the Warrior and the Warden (named for a ship that fought at Castameer). The Warspite due to her sheer size alone is in semi-limited (unique) production. The Warspite will be part one of Admiral Yvarro’s plans to fill in the fleet’s gaps where they are needed and in this case, providing a long range dreadnought that is more than capable of destroying enemy vessels.

Development Thread: Yes | First Order: A Mahanian Complex [Development] | Bronze Award - Omega (x)

Intent: To create a dreadnought in the spirit of the HMS Warspite that can withstand and deal out a brutal punishment against other capital ships. Giving First Order fleeters another option of vessel to bring with them, and to diversify the navy.

The Third Librarian administers an exam to a junior academy cadet suspected of being Force Sensitive.

Name: The Proctorious
Intent: An 'adversary' of sorts for my school kid, as well as some good flavor for the Knights of Ren and how they could interplay into education.
Affiliation: The First Order (Knights of Ren)

Availability: Rare

Quality: C - Trained

Type: Secret Police (School Police)

Strength: Approximately 11, ordered as Librarians (odd numbers: First Librarian, Fifth Librarian, etc) or Scholars (even numbers: Second Scholar, Sixth Scholar, etc). There are five of either sect, and no clear delineation between the two. Number indicates seniority, with advancement taking place through death or retirement of the predecessor. They are led by the Grand Proctor.

Description: The Proctorious operates publically as agents of the Ministry of Education, conducting inspections of academies, auditing records, and administering certain special examinations requiring specific credentials. In actuality, the Proctorious operates at the behest of the Knights of Ren. The Proctorious work with the Ministry of Education to identify potential Force Sensitives among the school age populace of First Order worlds, then conduct testing under the guise of admissions tests or other educational requirements in order to determine whether the individual merits further observation or should be reported to the Knights of Ren. They are also empowered to investigate reports of individuals exhibiting paranormal behavior, though rarely go outside their charter as a secret police of the First Order's school system.

The Proctorious all have their roots in the Knights of Ren. All studied as Disciples of the Beyond, but fell short of the trials to become full-fledged Knights of the Order of Ren. But failure of a trial does not render one entirely useless to the First Order, and so the Proctorious operates somewhat like the Jedi Service Corps of the Old Republic, in that it provides a means for an otherwise trained Disciple to continue their service to the Supreme Leader and the Masters of Ren.

As the conduct of their tests may sometimes threaten to reveal their true purpose, all agents of the Proctorious are trained in a form of Memory Rub in order to quiet witnesses short of killing them (when necessary or possible).

I imagine given the large battery of weapons, you can crank the Armament Rating up to at least 18. Especially given the very slow speed and maneuverability and smallish hanger.

Also since it's Limited production already, please put Bastion on it, and consider liberal use of the specialized PD weapons we have. No reason any of our large capital ships should have any real vulnerability to missiles.

The irony.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask for help or anything but given war is on the horizon I'm considering submitting defensive space stations to the factory to be placed above key worlds preventing the enemy from landing large numbers without a significant space battle. Problem is, this is would be my first time using the factory and I'm not sure about which template would be best nor which materials, companies and combat ratings would be appropriate. It's all rather overwhelming for a newbie.
So I thought i'd fly it past here to see if people think this is an idea worth pursuing and how best to go about it.

Only did that so someone wouldn't get their hands on it and try to metagame by countering it with some x-class starship, I may have defected but I still care for you guys in the First Order. I gave Carlyle the design schematic.

Yes, I get quotes.

OK guys, we're all friends despite [member="Tanomas Graf"]'s unimaginable cowardice and betrayal difference of opinions. Let's all just play it cool.

[member="Samka Derith"], [member="Fiolette Yvarro"]/[member="Valessia Brentioch"] has experience in designing stations of this nature. I'd suggest chatting with her.

I can also assist in some manner I'm sure. If you'd like to PM me what you have, I can always assist in making suggestions! I think it's a wonderful idea and it would work wonderfully with the strategy we are employing for our fleets going forward!

Ground Forces:
Special Features:

Maneuverability Rating: 20
Speed Rating: 20

Hyperdrive Class: 2

Strengths:
  • Heavy Armament: The sheer amount of turbolasers of this ship alone is the equivalent of an entire starfleet of First Order ships, easily tearing through enemy starcruisers like a knife through warm butter.
  • Heavy Shielding: Even with hundreds of turbolasers, the battlecruiser still needs protection. The First Order engineers have installed a massive shield generator that could only fall under the combined fire of multiple star destroyers.
  • Command Ship: Invasions have never been easier, this ship has a full wing of TIE Fighters, as well as a hundred AALs. It also ferries an impressive ground force of walkers and even prefabricated garrisons.
Weaknesses:
  • Extremely Expensive To Produce: One of these ships alone costs billions upon billions of credits to construct, crew, and maintain, and that is not even factoring in its complement of starfighters and ground vehicles.
  • Blindspots: On the aft side of this battlecruiser, there is a minuscule amount of turbolasers, allowing smaller and larger ships to get behind and destroy its engines.
  • Slow Speed And Maneuverability: The price of turbolasers took a toll on the Resurgent, in the form of the fact that it moves and turns like a nerf.
  • Command Ship: Even with heavy amounts of turbolasers and shields stronger than Mandalorian iron, if this ship were somehow destroyed, the entire fleet would be sent into disarray, not to mention the millions of taxpayer credits now being a blasted hulk of space debris.
