Finding Haven

FINDING HAVEN
[media]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkplLIlWdOo[/media]

Months had gone by since the Confederacy of Independent Systems along with the Alliance in Exile found Tellu and [member=[/SIZE]"Nora Lithos"] trapped in a cave that confirmed the existence of a light side nexus. Tellu now stood proudly at the base of the new temple she pulled her beige robe tightly around her chest with one while clutching her staff with the other. "Tell me Nylea how do things fair at Sanctuary?" She inquired of the young Echani beside her while awaiting the arrival of members from the Silver Jedi Order, Alliance in Exile's Shattered Jedi Order along with the Jedi Praxeum and light side aligned members of the Knights Obsidian. Those who wielded the dark side of the Force were asked to stay away. Monastery was fastly becoming a holy place for those who sought the light, and Tellu knew that there were those who could conceal their alignment. She only hoped that for the sake of the day's events they would keep it hidden as to not disturb such sacred ground.

"That is good to hear, Nylea and perhaps when things are taken care of Nora can join us," Tellu mentioned as she took a step forward. She had sent invitations out t as many Jedi Orders as she could find. They were welcomed to the opening of the new Temple, with the hopes of creating a new kind of Jedi Council. One where knowledge would be shared, where the hopes of either order could be expressed and where they could all come together as servants of the Force. Either that or Tellu suspected they would dissolve into bickering as to who was the most correct Jedi Order. If that were to happen she had no qualms about throwing them all out into the void on their starships and send them back to wherever it is they came from.

She urged Nylea to follow her into the temple, "there is so much happening now - ever since we found the nexus. The temple, the academy and now an entire city, Force help us I hope Monastery can sustain us all." The older Echani mentioned as throughout Monastery construction on a new Jedi Academy and a new city continued. Link-up sites here at the temple had been complete so they could hold a few students but not many. "Has the produce from Baruugat come through yet?" Tellu asked of Nylea, who had become something of an apprentice over the last few days and weeks - assistant rather. Still, Tellu took time to teach Nylea how to use a polearm when she had time. "Ah, and tea, we must have proper tea as well most especially if the Corellian Jedi are to show - or that enclave from the Outer Rim."

Monastery. Though much had changed in the years Nylea had lived on the planet, there were two constants that made it feel like home to her more than any other place in the galaxy. The first was the Order of the Sacred Lotus and though its days of exerting a galactic presence were long gone, it still persevered through the tragedies that had struck it. The curse that seemed to rest on the seat of those who led the organization was broken with the echani intervening before [member='Nora Lithos'] could succumb to the pressure she had put on herself. While she was away to recover from her burnout, Nora had entrusted Nylea with the order's leadership and she had made sure that when her friend returned, she would have the support she needed to lessen the burden that had brought her to the edge before. She, among others, would be there to carry some of it for her.

The second was the presence of the Light and its radiating warmth, giving life to everything it touched. The discovery of the Light side nexus had set many a good thing in motion and the greatest of them all was the very thing she and Tellu now stood at the base of- the new Jedi temple that was built nearby. A place for all Jedi regardless of their colors and allegiances where they could find unity within their diversity. A place where one could find guidance within the Light. A beautiful place, a sign that despite the victories the Dark side had claimed in recent times, its counterpart was never truly defeated. Nylea had found hope within that message, good would prevail in the end.

While she took the time to take in the aura that the temple exuded, Tellu drew Nylea's attention as she asked her question. "Busy, as always," she responded, her tone giving away that it was a good thing. "Though now that we have restructured the Lotus' leadership, it finally seems like we can keep up again. It feels good to be able to make a real difference in places where our help is needed."

Today, however, was not about the Order of the Sacred Lotus. Today was about the Jedi of the galaxy as they had been invited to come together, in hopes to create unity. Monastery was a planet that embodied the finding of common ground as history showed in abundance, and so Nylea was hopeful another chapter in that history could be written here.

"I hope she will," the echani said as she mirrored the older woman by taking a step forward herself, "I asked her if she would come, but did not get a definite answer. It has been a while since I have seen her in person due to her recovery. We have a lot to catch up on." Nora wasn't a Jedi herself, she lacked Force Sensitivity, but Nylea wholeheartedly believed she did deserve the respect befitting of one. She was just as kind, courageous and strong-willed as one and did just as much good for the galaxy. An inspiration to many Jedi who were with the Sacred Lotus, Nylea herself included.

She followed Tellu into the temple and once inside took a moment to appreciate it beauty, but as there was much to be done it was short-lived. "The courier messaged me earlier today, the produce should be here very soon." Nylea had spent much of the time not spent in the name of the Lotus helping and learning from Tellu in the last number of weeks, and during it she had learned some things about her fellow echani and the way she worked. As such, there was no worries to be had about the availability of tea. "And I was already ahead of you with the tea, and made sure to place an order for that too. It should be more than plenty."

Sure, she had been training with Coren Starchaser for a hot minute, but only the basics of being a Sentinel, and then he sent her to basically be a ward of the Shattered Jedi. She was fine with that, the Jedi Remnant was another group she had considered but siding with the Shattered gave her a place, a larger military force to stand behind and the name to get herself linked around. She had been working on her alchemy and a weird combination of sense and control that allowed her to inspire and help motivate any group she was working with.

She had been in constant contact with Starchaser and was helping him on his case to unite some of the outlying Jedi groups. Or light side groups. Whoever. She made her way out to Monastery, apparently, the location given to him by his other student. And that meant while he was out fighting the war, she was doing what she did best. Network, and making connections. The Thyferran landed on Monastery and could feel the light side emanating.

That was a nice feeling. Much better than most places she had been recently.

She was wearing a dress and a cloak over it, just enough to look the part of a Jedi, but not really look too much like one. Give the illusion of it, but still be in an outfit she could selfie in. Stepping from the landing bay and following the call of where she felt she should be, the Thyferran was looking around, in awe of the world, and the feeling of it.

Some way, somehow, Nida had entered the temple through the laundry room.

The newly appointed apprentice had lingered in front of the great building for some time, too nervous to approach the guards. Even though the extended invitation did technically include her, Nida felt too much like an outsider to really belong. What if she wasn’t as pure of heart as a Jedi should be? What if she fumbled over her words and stumbled over her feet? In her view, Nida had spent her life surrounded by people much stronger than her, more confident and brash. Maybe she was too weak, too unsure to be here.

Eventually she made her way around the building, curious to see if there was a more welcoming entrance. Viola, the Zeltron had discovered a room full of exhaust vents and machinery. She kept moving from room to room, silently hoping and yet not hoping that she’d run into someone.

“Um…hello? Is anybody here…?”

Nida clutched her robes closer to her chest, but the freshly starched fabric rubbing against her neck was the least of her bothers. With each step, the feeling of I shouldn’t be here crept up closer and closer.

Tellu nodded in agreement with Nylea, she listened as the younger Echani spoke of the Lotus's restructure. Change was good, always good to get new blood into older roles and let the others have a rest. "It is good to see the Lotus back on their feet, come." The older of the two ushered them into the temple and while the temple sat mostly empty for now, it would only be a matter of time before more would seek its solace. A beacon of light within the Confederacy of all places, the thought amused Tellu greatly. Nylea continued to speak, and Tellu continued to listen one hand on her staff and the other outstretched toward a scone along the wall. With the flick of her hand a light appeared, "these should always be on, the halls are quite dark at night."

"Ah and so you are Nylea, so you are, mhmm let's head to the kitchens and see what they've got prepared." She was a bit hungry and turned down the corridor for the stairs, "and I'm sure Nora will come when she's ready. We'll always be here for her and that's what matters." In the time that the Temple had been in construction, Tellu had come to dote on Nylea and she wasn't entirely sure why, but the young woman was smart, and quite capable. "And if no one else shows up then we can eat all the goodies the kitchen's made." Tellu wasn't too concerned if no one else arrived on this day, if it was only them.

"Action and in action both speak volumes of a person, of their intent. Some may call and give an excuse, but in truth they are not ready to put aside their beliefs." Not even for the breaking of bread at a new Jedi Temple. In a time where all Jedi should come together and celebrate, "too busy shedding blood, arguing or hiding." Hiding. Hiding is not what the Jedi should do, for it would be exactly what the Sith would want. For them to hide, crawl into some deep dark place never to emerge again. For others they were on a path of war, to crusade against the dark. Such militant minds embodied an extreme view of the Jedi, one that Tellu did not share. "Let's be sure we have someone great our courier when they arrive, it's such a long trip up from Baruungat."

As they made their way through the corridor, the stairs drew nearer and so too did a small voice. "Wait." Tellu stopped Nylea a moment, "do hear this?"

She heard the small voice, "I do believe someone's gotten lost. Come, we can head to the kitchens in a moment."

Through the Force, Tellu reached out to [member="Nida Perl"] and comforted her. Fear not, we shall aid you - I am Master Tellu.

For [member="Sav Elko"], a non-Force user by the name of [member="Elisea Korrado"] would greet her. "Hi there, names Elisea are you here to celebrate the Temple's opening?" Perhaps a bit too trusting even now, after all the Lotus had been through.

The Silver Jedi Doctor had been really looking forward to spending more time on Monastery after getting the invitation from the Order of the Sacred Lotus to join them and other light side users of the Force in the opening of their new temple. It had been a long time coming, but now the healing center would be availed; one that would no doubt help and touch many lives in the future.

The last time Samara had been on the Mid Rim planet was after the fall of the Galactic Alliance. Samara had come with the Silver Circle to assist in the relief efforts given to the survivors and refugees that needed care and support. The Confederacy had opened their borders and had given so freely of their time and resources as well. All in all it had been a successful endeavor she thought given the magnitude of the suffering, but there were always things to learn from it and do better next time.

The snowy, mountainous backdrop made the temple building look mystic in a way. The Jedi Knight could feel the living Force flowing in and around her as well as the warmth of the light from the nearby nexus as she entered through the main doors. Just being at this location made the Liann feel better. Imagine how it would make a difference to those afflicted or ailing from unspeakable things, and those as well that were treatable. Samara was proud to be a Jedi Healer this day and was all the more thankful for her fellow brothers and sisters of the Force, and also those not that helped in the healing arts in their own very special way.

The honey blonde sensed individuals ahead. And as she walked towards them further down the corridor, her pair of sea green orbs continued to take in the temple's decor more so. The atmosphere was very esthetically soothing as it should be.

"Very nice, indeed," Sam commented to herself with a pleased tone.

Elisea looked over and watched as [member="Samara Raine"] walked into the temple. She recalled her from the Lotus's earlier days and gave a nod of acknowledgment, "if you'd like a tour of the place I can definitely help you out with that." She said to [member="Sav Elko"]. The temple was certainly a marvel to behold taken from the stones of the mountain, crafted by many of the Lotus and the local villager, and of course, droids. They were under the Confederacy's banner so construction droids were a definite help. "I'm an archivist, librarian and sometimes counselor." It had been her initial training when she was part of the First Order. Ever since she arrived on Monastery though, her role has changed. Sometimes she's a handywoman, sometimes she's a maid, a pilot and whatever else the Lotus needed of her.

"We're hoping to attract new members now," she said just making some sort of conversation with the woman beside her. "Get back out into the galaxy and help people." It seemed there was no greater need for an organization like the Sacred Lotus than now. "Our next big project is to restore the old Temple of the Sacred Circle, turn into something of museum and satellite home for other members."

Tyl Ro

The Anti(Hipster)-Cynic
That’s the last, was the thought that crossed Tyl’s mind as she slung a pack over her shoulder. She gave the sack a pat, feeling its weight comfortably against her hip. The Jedi gave the small room one last glance. Quaint was a perfect word to describe the space. A few days ago, the room was filled with herbs and vials and petri dishes. Now all that remained was the small cot, small for a Kaminoan, not for a human, where Tyl had slept most of her nights for the past few years.

The time had come to leave this room behind. The Jedi Knight had chosen this humble room, one of only a handful in the Diatom Inn as her abode instead of the Temple. There she had spent a considerable amount of time cataloguing and researching the many plants of the world around her, that of the planet of Monastery. There were many natural remedies to be found and Tyl had set herself to the task of researching them all. She had chosen to perform her work alone.

That seclusion too was coming to an end. The time had come for a great deal of change. Tyl sought to face that change head first, senses attuned to a new cause, one that would put her on a more productive path. Or so she hoped. That was the plan anyway.
Closing the door behind her, she walked down the wooden hall of the inn, down the single flight of stairs and to the desk. The towering Kaminoan gracefully placed the key on the desk for the staff to gather and walked out to a waiting speeder.

“Are you ready, Knight Ro?” the young starry-eyed pilot queried.

Tyl sat next to the initiate in the two-seater. ”I am. Thank you for your patience, Ukhia.”

The initiate gave her a big smile. “Of course, Master!”

The girl’s enthusiasm set Tyl’s heart at ease. As they flew up from the small town of Maurius, the speeder made its way up through the clouds. Tyl was far from apprehensive about the move. The facilities planned at the new Temple on Monastery seemed more than promising. And she certainly looked forward to working with others again. And yet, there was something nagging at her; the same thing that had been at the back of her mind for years.

Purpose.

The Jedi Knight still didn’t have an answer for that. But she hoped that this new opportunity would award her some clarity, a clarity that had been lacking in her for longer than she could remember.

After a little more than an hour’s travel, the speeder arrived at the snowy peaks where this new Temple was nestled. Tyl thanked her pilot once more, disembarking and making her way towards the great entrance way ahead of her. She saw another two at the front and made her way over. One, [member="Elisea Korrado"], she recognized, a caretaker and coordinator of many of the Jedi activities on the planet. The other was unfamiliar.

”Good day,” she offered, her voice carrying a little more lilt than its usual neutral sway.

Sea green orbs gazed across the room at a person Sam had not seen in some time. The honey blonde canted her head respectfully in turn at [member="Elisea Korrado"], who was speaking with another young woman a few feet away that the Liann was not familiar with.

The Jedi doctor suspected there would be many new faces here at the opening of the new center of excellence in medicine for the Order of the Sacred Lotus. Samara hoped to make some meaningful connections here with new colleagues and refresh old ones.

And with that thought just past, a rather neutral-toned voice greeted the Jedi Knight from behind. Samara turned around, then immediately tilted her golden head back to look up at the seven foot or so Kaminoan standing there. The long-necked humanoid had the prettiest green eyes peering down upon her.

"Hello," Sam replied, offering [member="Tyl Ro"] a small, friendly smile. "I'm Samara Raine, a Jedi Healer visiting from the Silver Circle."

Elisea turned away from Miss Elko a moment, "pardon me a moment."

The Avalonian approached the two beings closes to her. She recalled Ro if only briefly from the last time she had visited Monastery and the other had also been part of the Lotus once upon a time. "Dr. Raine, Knight Ro, a pleasure to see you again." The non-force user smiled to them both and gave a small wave. "A pleasure it is to see the two of you here." She only wished the other members had stuck around to see this, to see the Temple. It was certainly a grand achievement, "it's been so long since I last saw the two of you, may I interest either of you in some tea? I was just about to take the young lady here on a tour, perhaps we can all get a good look?"

[member="Samara Raine"] | [member="Tyl Ro"]

While the two echani made their way through the temple, Nylea made sure to take the time to fully appreciate its grandness. Despite this though it remained a place fitting for the gathering of Jedi, still retaining an air of community. This temple was not for just one, or even a few, but was for everyone willing to find camaraderie within the Light. That ideal stood at the center of Nylea's life, believing that the willingness to be patient to one another and learn about and from them was the key to making the unknown known. One often feared what they did not understand, and fear led to hatred. It was more important to seek for similarities, rather than differences.

"That is probably a good i-" Tellu interrupted the younger of the two, at which she came to a halt. She didn't recognize the soft voice that she heard, but hear it she did. "It is a large temple, after all. It can be quite easy to get lost." Force knew Nylea herself had gotten lost while aiding in the temple's construction on multiple occasions. Luckily, as time passed she was able to memorize its layout. "The voice came from that room over there, shall we go greet her?" Here, where the Light was there for all, it was important that everyone felt welcome.

Nylea calmly approached the room from where the voice had come and when she entered, it took only a short look around to find the young girl that had called out moments before. "Hello," the echani said to the girl with a warm smile, sensing her nervosity and hoping to take away at least some of it. She walked over to her and extended an offer to shake her hand. "I am glad you joined us today. My name is Nylea." Having heard the message that Tellu had sent through the Force to introduce herself, she omitted doing that as well. "We were just on our way to the kitchens to see what the cooks have made for us today. Perhaps you would like to join us? I can say from experience that the food tends to be quite good."

Tyl Ro

"A pleasure to meet you, Healer Raine. My name is Tyl Ro. I too am a healer, doctor, and scientist." The Kaminoan returned Samara's smile with a warm one of her own. After so much solitude, Tyl found any conversation a welcome change, even just small talk.

Ever polite and respectful, Tyl would always have offered herself up for social events. But, as a Padawan, they had always seemed so trite to her. There was work to be done, discoveries to make, wounds to heal. What good was a gathering where none of those things were being accomplished? As she learned from her Master, though, these gatherings were for making the connections that drew people together. Those friendships wove their threads into every aspect of life. Friends became the buildings blocks for communities. Communities grew together to accomplish tasks no one person could ever do alone.

And while the justification for the usefulness of social events was what brought her out of her cocoon as an adolescent, Tyl, over the years, had grown to appreciate the sheer joy of togetherness. The Kaminoan didn't realize how much she missed that until initiating her conversation with [member="Samara Raine"].

"Have you come to see the medical facilities?" A part of Tyl would always be the pragmatist though. The thought didn't enter her mind as a possibility that someone would travel a distance just to meet others, even others of the same ilk. "Some of my things arrived ahead of me but I've yet to see the Temple myself. Save for the great mountainside in the forest far below."

To [member="Elisea Korrado"], Tyl offered another smile. "A pleasure to see you as well, Miss Korrado. I would relish a good cup of tea. And a tour would be most welcome, thank you."

"It is nice to meet you too, Healer Ro," Sam smiled again at [member="Tyl Ro"], then added with a bit of lightheartedness. "A scientist as well... That, I'm afraid, I am not. I like the bed side of medicine way too much to be stuck in the laboratory. I will leave you the honors," she grinned softly.

The Jedi doctor was more suited to acute care or battlefield medicine than looking at specimens under the microscope or running experiments to find a cure for something. She was a hands-on practitioner, not as much a scholar. Samara would leave that up to the ones way smarter than herself.

"Yes, I have," the honey blonde nodded. "I'm very excited to see the new facilities here. At Silver Rest on Kashyyyk, ours are nice, but these I'm sure will be state of the art no doubt. Plus, I'm curious how the Force Nexus might play into the healing process over conventional means. Always looking to learn about new and better ways to care for my patients."

[member="Elisea Korrado"] paused in her conversation with young blonde for a moment, then came over to welcome the two new arrivals, Tyl and Sam.

"Good to see you again, Dr. Korrado," she answered the curly haired woman warmly. "Oh yes! A cup of tea would definitely hit the spot, thank you, and a tour would be well received as well."

Elisea smiled and waited patiently until either one of the two was able to address her. She gave each a bow of respect, "wonderful! I can take all of you to the kitchen for some tea and then proceed with the tour." It had been quite some time since she had seen either of them, "I am glad to see the two of you, I hope you have both faired well since we last met." She motioned for them to follow her, and looked over at the young lady and waved her along as well. "I admit that the Sacred Lotus hadn't faired so well for a while, but in an odd way when the Confederacy arrive we began to see new life."

It went without saying that once the Galactic Alliance had fallen, Monastery had quickly become overcrowded. While most of the refugee population had since been shuffled out to other parts of the Southern Systems, the remnants of their crossing still remained. A camp or two still clung to the great mountainside as construction on a city had begun, slowly those who had remained on Monastery were shuffled toward the new city, cities Elisea thought to her correct herself. "The Lotus also has a new leader with Nylea Apollodor, and we're almost done with renovations to the old Sacred Circle temple, which will be the new home for the Lotus and Sanctuary shall be a complete medical and rehabilitation center."

"Now this Jedi Temple was constructed after Tellu discovered the nexus, and the nexus is at least a few days travel at best from here - on foot at least. You may get there by going around the mountains or risk going through the mountains, the nexus is quite wonderful. We've established a small outpost of Jedi to watch over it," Elisea continued, "we're hoping that Monastery can be a place where all lightsiders and Jedi can gather regardless of their beliefs or interpretation of the Jedi code."

She guided them from the entry through a corridor which was just wide enough for passing by and large enough for most species to walk through without much trouble. "We've just left the entry and now here we are the Grand Hall." Elisea motioned as first and foremost signs in auresh pointed in a few directions one to the communications hub, and another to the advanced training while still others pointed to the second floor where the council chamber and training rooms rested. The Grand Hall was key to the Temple, from there you could get to just about anywhere within as signs next to the corridors informed visitors where to go. "Kitchens are this way," Elisea waved them straight forward as the sounds of training could be heard from the second floor. "Our hope is to open the Ahsoka Tano Academy soon, for now, we have our satellite campus and of course that'll be part of our tour." The Avalonian woman would be quite happy to show her friends around, after tea, of course.

Tyl Ro

The Anti(Hipster)-Cynic
Tyl followed behind [member="Elisea Korrado"] as they walked through the great stone halls of the Temple. ”I could always go for a nice cup of tea,” the Kaminoan said off-handedly. ”With the temperatures as they are around here, I’m sure I will be having more than usual, just for the warmth and hydration.” Several of the crates that were packed before coming to the Temple contained Tyl’s own tea collection. The Jedi Knight was quite sure, though, that they were still packed along with the rest of her things and not matriculated into the kitchen’s stock. Putting the tea in the right spot moved higher up on Tyl’s list of things to do once she was settled.

”I’m afraid my time away has been less fruitful than I would have liked. Though I did help on the periphery during the refugee crisis, I’ve mostly been on my own. Hopefully this resurgence in the Order will help me change that.” Truthfully, Tyl hadn’t left Monastery much over the past few years. A voyage here or there, but no great journeys or excursions worth mentioning. Stuck in her work and in her mind, she had isolated herself. Offering aid during a crisis, even, didn’t seem like something that was worth discussing in depth with her colleagues. Such a thing was to be expected of her as a Jedi Knight and as a medical professional.

[member="Samara Raine"] had also mentioned the Force nexus among her interests of being on Monastery. Though Tyl had felt something unusually soothing in the Force recently, she had paid the sensation little mind. Despite the difficult trek, perhaps a pilgrimage was in order. At the very least, some exercise couldn’t hurt. The Kaminoan spent more than half of her awake-life stuck in a laboratory. While gathering herbs, berries, and other ingredients from her environment took up a solid portion of other used time, the amount was never enough. ”Would you be interested in taking a hike to visit the nexus with me, Healer Raine?” Tyl asked, her thoughts bleeding out into the conversation as they walked side by side. ”I could use a good stretch.” Tyl declined and swiveled her neck slightly to give the blonde human woman a warm glance. She was silent for a moment. Then added with a smile, remembering where she was and what she was doing: ”After the tour and getting settled, of course... and tea.”

The grand stone corridors weren’t grand due to their size. Rather, they appeared as if they were carved directly from the mountainside. Perhaps they were. The effort undertaken in order to achieve such a feat was grandiose. Droids were undoubtedly used in the process, but the scope was no less significant.

The kitchens were not much further, down another corridor leading from the central chamber which was designated as the Grand Hall. A few other Jedi and caretakers were mingling and an array of food was laid out for the visitors and residents to enjoy. Everything looked quite fresh and Tyl imagined that the fare must be sourced from the villages at the base of the mountains. There were plenty of dishes that Tyl recognized and, in a few cases, she could even picture the faces of the vendors who provided their ingredients and crafts. Making her way over to the beverages, she plucked out a packet of dried leaves and berries at random and poured some steaming water into a mug, placing the packet inside to let the tea steep.

Samara listened thoughtfully as [member="Elisea Korrado"] gave explanations regarding the temple and nexus as they followed the woman to the kitchen. It was all very intriguing and the Jedi doctor really was looking forward to seeing it all, and maybe getting some hands on practice as well.

"An adventure would be nice. I haven't done anything fun like that in a while," the honey blonde answered [member="Tyl Ro"] with an encouraging smile. " I would love to join you, Healer Ro," she nodded just before walking through the door to the temple's kitchen.

The Liann wasn't much of a tea totaler as she preferred caf, but the hot drink did sound good. The Jedi Knight chose a Black Tea bag from the offered that was flavored with orange citrus rind and sweet spice, Plus, it had caffeine, which Sam of curse craved and needed after her long journey from Kashyyyk.

[member="Nylea Apollodor"] | [member="Tellu Talon"] | [member="Nida Perl"]

Tellu and Nylea had managed to get [member="Nida Perl"] to the kitchen before they sat her down at one of the tea tables there. Cushions lined the floor surrounding each of the tea tables, along with the walls and flanking the entrances to the dining hall were taller tea tables for those who were unable to sit on the floor. The style of it all hailed from the Naharyar region as influenced by their Seoularian, Kiffar and Atrisian lineage paper walls separated the dining hall and kitchen. The Temple's stone carving continued to impress many of the first time visitors, even here, here where the menu was most certainly influenced by the local produce. A sign on the opposite wall from @Elisea Korrado's group read that the menu was subject to change due to both season and availability.

"Elisea," Tellu greeted with open arms, the two hugged and the Viceroy looked over and noticed that Elisea had brought some of the guests, "and who do we have here?"

The Avalonian turned to each of her guests and introduced them, "Doctor Raine from the Silver Jedi, Knight Ro who has been with the Scared Lotus previously, and ... Miss Elko."

"Well, well, well such a diverse group, well met and welcome to the Jedi Temple of Monastery. I'm Viceroy Tellu Talon, and this is [member="Nylea Apollodor"] the current leader of the Scared Lotus." Tellu introduced herself and Nylea, "and I believe this is Ms. Perl, we've just met her down in the laundry room." A smile of reassurance before she returned her attention to Elisea and her guests. "How are you all finding the Temple so far?" She inquired while fetching tea for herself, Nylea and Ms. Perl.

It was then that Elisea cleared her throat and drew Tellu's attention, "Viceroy, these ladies were hoping for a ... trip to the nexus."

Tellu who was in the middle of filling kettles with water, "oh, okay, yes - we can certainly arrange that I'd be more than happy to lead them there. When were you all looking to travel?"

“No, that’s not right.” A muttering voice came echoing down the hallways. “These texts would imply… No.”

Footsteps were accompanied by the sound of notebooks being flipped over and under as trained eyes peered through them with a speedy glance. A dirtied Nora wandered the hallway in a rush to get somewhere, perhaps idly believing herself to be at home for a moment. Though her office had most likely gathered dust, to some extent, over the last few months there was still so much fun to be had, and fun was most certainly the best word to use when describing what Nora was up to.

“Sprigleaf… Yaddle’s Thorn.” Nora’s head shook. “Zekalian firebush.”

The book closed with a bang and another opened with a rip.

“Goddam-” The Arkanian girl groaned and checked the tear at the seam. “Not ideal, but to be expected.”

She flicked through the pages with care before she set her eyes on that one page. Walking, reading, and not really minding your own business was a great way to work. No, not work, Nylea would strangle her if she knew Nora was working. This was a hobby. Clearly.

“Trevainian Frostseed.” Nora gleed. “That’s it, now-”

Passing into view, nose deep in her book, Nora glimpsed up for little more than a second to aim her shot. A hand reached out, wrapped her fingers around a cookie that she proceeded to take a bite out of.

And that was, well…

The girl stopped in her track with her lips still wrapped around the bite to look up at the voices that for some reason she had not quite registered before. Frozen mid-step she slowly proceeded to turn towards the crowd. Jedi people, Lotus people, people that generally thought she would be at home painting or reading or something.

“Oh, uh. Hi.” Nora grimaced and pocketed the book in her satchel. “I was just out, because I am… Errr.”

“Returning books!”
She lied, blatantly. “From the, uh, archives.”

That most likely weren’t complete.

“Hi!”
