"I don't know Kay..a lot could have gone around with the black hole. For example getting sucked into it.." He says gently elbowing her in the robs. "It only acid rain." He says with a grin.

She smirked and showed him their tattered clothes. "Yeah....only acid rain." Kay leaned back against the rock. "I can't wait until we can leave. The sooner, the better. Any idea how long storms last out here?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

"No idea. It will end when it ends." He comments looking at the sky. It didn't seem to getting any brighter. "I have the feeling we will be here until tomorrow."

Little puddles of acid rain were forming outside their shelter. "Only a Sith would live in a miserable place like this."

"I suppose it would offer great protection for their secrets." She didn't much like the idea of staying overnight, but maybe she'll be able to get a bit of sleep. "Thanks for showing me some Force techniques,by the way. Shaw had me mostly stick to healing. You know him, he didn't like me being near battles."

((Happy Birthday!!!!!!))

"Yeah I know. Your healing skill were handy a few times so it wasn't a waste of time." He sat down on the rocky ground underneath the stone cropped ledge. There wasn't enough room to lay down. He rests his head against the wall. He stifles a yawn. He was little tired.

((Thanks!))

"Oh don't you dare..." She kicked his boot with her foot. "None of that yawning business. You get the first watch." And with that she brought her knees up to her chest, wrapped her arms around them and placed her forehead on them, before closing her eyes and yawning herself out of his view. Time to catch up on a bit of shut eye. Hopefully the rain would stop soon.

He wonder why he gets first watch again. "Ow. Be nice or I will push you into the rain." He teases her. He watches her get comfortable. She could hide the yawn expression but he heard it. Poor thing was probably wiped out using the force that way.

He stares out into the rain hoping it stops soon. Over the next few hours the rain intensity lessen. Soon it was just a sprinkle. The sky looked promising.

He got first watch because he was a gentleman. Or so she thought anyways. As the rain lessened, the lack of it's sound woke her up. She yawned and rubbed her neck as she sat up straight. "Oh I can't wait until a proper bed. Your turn."

Hawk was half asleep when Kay spoke. It startled him a little. "Yeah it almost done. Just lets me sleep for couple of hours than we can get moving"

He leans his head back against the rock and closes his eyes

Kay nodded. "Sure thing." As he slept she kept her eyes on the sky. The sprinkles became less and less until finally it ended. She let him sleep longer than the two hours however, as he would be the one flying them out of there. As he slept she ate from the food rations, just a little to help her hunger. Hopefully things will go according to plan and they'll be able to reach the ship and leave. There was too much danger here.

3 hours later, Hawk wakes up with a knot in his neck from sleeping in a bad position. "Ahhh." He says when he moves his head. "Why did you lets me sleep so long." He was cranking today. He rubs his neck trying to remove the knot. He just want to get off this planet and go home. He needed a long rest after this adventure.

"Because you needed it. You're flying us, remember?" She got to her feet, placed her satchel over her shoulder and then held a hand out for him. "Come on. The acid rain is pretty much dried up now. So we can get off this rock." And by rock she of course meant the planet.

"Yeah I remember." He moved out from under the covering. He stands and stretches his body before beginning the walk back toward the ship. The smell of sulfur was stronger due to the acid rain from yesterday.

They came across a tattered body. Hawk makes a face. It looked to him that the person had died from the acid rain.

Kay trudged along behind him. She spotted the body too and frowned. There were others nearby? Whomever it was, it didn't matter anymore. That person was beyond help.

With each step, Hawk's ship got closer and she couldn't wait to get there. "I'm sure that your daughter and mother can't wait for you to get home. You really should spend more time with them."

They walk past the dead body as they continue the trek toward his ship. "Yeah I know. I keep telling myself that but something always get in the way. The Galaxy can't seem to stay out of trouble" he says with a smirk.

Hour later, they could see his ship. "Almost home." He was relieved to see the ship. "We will have to check it out before we leave. Make sure that there was no damage from the acid rain."

Kay laughed at his comment. "You're lucky that you don't follow me around anymore. I can't keep out of trouble."

But with Hawk's ship being made of metal, there most likely was going to be some damage. Yet maybe it wouldn't be too bad that they couldn't fly out of here. Well, only one way to find out....

Hawk smiles lopsided when they finally arrive back to the ship. "It at least in one piece". He had nightmare of having it in pieces and being stranded.

Hawk walks around the perimeter of the ship. "More dead bodes." He calls out. "That acid rain saved our lives,"'he tells Kay. If it wasn't for the rain they would have been ambushed.

He force jumps to land on top of the ship. "Yeah just what I thought. This is where the damage is." The top of the hull had small holes in it from the rain. "Good thing I have extra hulls plates in the cargo bay."

Kay just shook her head at the bodies. So sad. She looked up at Hawk on the top of his ship and called out to him. "Just be sure that no one got inside. And we should check and see if there is any damage inside as well. As for the repairs, just let me know what you want me to do."

[member="Lady Kay"]

"Yes dear." He says playfully. Kay could be such a nag sometimes. Kneeling down to open the top hatch, Hawk is surprised by being who face is half melted by the acid rain. The Sith leaps out of Hawk's ship with saber draw. "Where is the amulet?" Hawk force shoves the Sith away.

"Out of your reach now,". Hawk says with a snarl. "Foolish boy...you have no idea what power it has". Says the Sith as he draws his saber. L

Kay smirked as he mocked her. But that smirk quickly faded as the Sith jumped out and ignited his blade. Kay drew out her blaster and fired two stun bolts at his back. Maybe he didn't notice or care that Kay was there.
