"Then you should come hang out with me," Jak offered, his drunkenness wearing off slowly. "We could go on an adventure!"

He really needed to sober up.

Jak sighed. "Fiiiiiine... we can go buy a ship." Killjoy, he muttered.

All he could do was facepalm. And then he yelled. "I HAVE A DAMN SHIP, YOU IDIOT! HOW DO YOU THINK WE GOT HERE?!" He would bark, and just started walking toward the spaceport.

"Why did I come back to get you?"

"SO I CAN GET A SHIP!" Jak shouted back. "Ya know, I might need a ship, too!"

"And for the record, I didn't call you here to get me, I called you to try to connect. Obviously that wasn't a good idea," he steamed, stopping in front of the spaceport. "Especially if you need to be drunk to have a civil conversation with anyone." He set his jaw.

He let out a sigh in response. "Then you're definitely not stealing a ship on my watch. Why do you think I'd let you do that, drunk or sober?" He would inquire. Come on, he couldn't be THAT much of an idiot!

"To connect.... Right. Literally the first thing you said when you called was you wanted me to pick you up" Josh would respond, rolling his eyes. "And I wouldn't really call this civil"

"So we can go to the spaceport," Jak enunciated. "If I can get a free ride, I'm gonna take the free ride!"

"And no, it's not civil. I don't know when you got all judgmental and chit." Jak sighed, and after a long pause: "So... I guess I'll go buy a ship."

He let out a sigh. "Why wouldn't I get judgmental when someone who should know better is trying to steal a ship of all things?" Josh would inquire. "I mean, come on. Even you're better then that. That's some Circe level chit" He would add, smirking a bit.

"If you got the credits like you bragged you did? Go buy one. Why bother stealing?"

"I don't steal because I have to, I steal because I can. And because it's fun. If it's not challenging, 9 times out of 10 I just return it."

The other 1 was selling it for credits back to the original owner... but he wasn't going to say that.

The Jedi rolled his eyes. "Return it. Right" He remarked. "Still acting like a common criminal. What's the point? It's just a dick move" He added, staring a hole right through Jak.

"You know what? Forget it," Jak huffed. "I'll see you later."

With that, he strode purposefully away.

The Jedi stared a hole through Jak, with a raised eyebrow. "Sooo... You get me to pick you up, go to a cantina, and then you don't even want me to get you off this rock because I criticized you for wanting to steal a ship?" Josh would respond, rolling his eyes. "Come on, man. Even you can see how dickish that is. You're better then stealing a ship, you're better then stealing anything or committing crimes for that matter. What's wrong with thinking better of you then then common criminal?" He would inquire, visibly upset, and frustrated.

"No." Jak turned around, but stayed put. "I ask an old friend if he has the grace to meet me, has the lightheartedness to go to a cantina for old times' sake, and has the humor to fething joke with me."

The Jedi let out a sigh. "I don't think stealing a ship is worth joking about, Jak. I'm a damn Jedi, what did you expect me to respond with?" He would inquire. "I'll joke all day long, but it's not really easy to joke about theft, y'know?"
