Fake another death and I'll strangle you [Jak]

The blonde let out a sigh. "You're right. Everything has been because of Circe... But you have always had a choice, Jak. Always had the choice to get away from her. I saw none of her until I needed to. The last time I even caught sight of her was because I decided to seek her out. And you know what happened when she brought up what she did to my brother? When she brought up what she did to YOU? Taunted me with it? Made it obvious just how much of A TOOL you were to her?" He remarked, poking him with a glare.

"I punched her. I punched her in her stupid fething face. And it felt so damn good. And if need be, I'll do it again - over and over and over again until there's nothing left of her" He growled. "And since then, I haven't seen her. Not even heard of her until you showed up" He added. "So you can be rid of her. Just gotta try"

He let out a sigh to his comment. "Jak, if I hadn't forgiven you, I'd have thrown you out the airlock five minutes ago" The Jedi responded bluntly.

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Jak nodded soberly. "Oh, don't worry, I will try."

He turned his head to look into the cockpit. "I know it'd take a bit, but did it really take this long?"

The Jedi let out a sigh. "Take this long for what?" He asked. "You're the one who inputted the cantina to head to. Why are you complaining?" He would ask, raising an eyebrow.

"Where the hell did you jot down anyway?"

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"What do you mean, jot down? And I inputted coordinates to the city; there must be some spaceport traffic."

He stood up to go to the cockpit, just to check on things.

"Well, that works in it's place then" The blonde would remark as the ship would start to touch down. "So a city on this planet then? Why didn't I just go here to pick you up to begin with if this was where you intended to go get drinks from the beginning?" Joshua would remark, raising an eyebrow toward Jak.

In the cockpit, the R4 unit seemed to be doing well. It was quite obvious it was quite used to this.

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Cause I'm laaazy," Jak grinned. "Nah, I made my home there, and the trees wanted me to stay as long as possible, so..."

When the ship touched down, he stepped out lightly, taking in a breath of the different-tasting air. "Been a while..."

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

"I'm more inclined to believe the former is the case and think you're lying about the latter" He joked with a smirk crossing his face. "So how did the trees talk-Oh right, you're the male version of an ugly Poison Ivy" He cracked with a grin.

Once the ship touched down, he gave a nod to the droid and stepped out with Jak. "Lead the way, plant kid"

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Hey," he glared, only half-joking. "I didn't exactly choose this for myself."

"Kid? May I remind you I'm probably going to outlive you by a few hundred years."

Looking around, he pointed in a random direction. "That way to the cantina, I think."

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

"Sure you did, while you were with plant-butt" He remarked with a chuckle. "And I'm sure if you looked, there's a way to rid yourself of it. It'd be good, for sure. Y'know, unless you like being highly flammable and hanging around a guy who can make fire appear from his hands" He added, and right on cue he'd hold up a hand, a sphere of flames rising from it for Jak to see. It would dissipate in a few seconds, of course, but the message had been relayed. It actually said a lot. The fact he could have easily killed Jak if he hadn't forgiven him was obvious.

"And what's the use of near eternal life when the people you care for will die by then?" He added, rolling his eyes. "I wouldn't call it something to brag about" He would remark as he followed where Jak was headed to the cantina.

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"I've been thinking about that a lot, actually," Jak commented, moving towards what he figured was a likely cantina-populated area. "And... I don't know if I should. But then I keep thinking, and there's nothing I want to do more. It's ironic that my greatest weapon is given to me by the one I loathe the most."

"I wanna see the universe," he said simply. "I want to see more, do more, be more. If I could rule a kingdom for 900 years, I'd go down in history. Major, Archive-worth history."

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

"If it's naught but a weapon, and something you despise... Why keep it, if there's capability of leaving it?" The Jedi would inquire toward Jak as they walked toward the cantina. "You're allowing a desire for power to keep you chained to the one you despise the most. It's as I've told you, Jak... The only one keeping you tied to Circe is you. Should you remove those ties of your own disposition, they'll go away" Josh would add.

"As for your reasonings... I suppose. But what is an accomplishment in history when you have nobody left to share it? I once told your ex wife the same thing" He responded.

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Wow, really? Man, it's like we have something in common," Jak grinned, shifting momentarily into his green coloration.

Then he sobered. Ironic, since they were now at the cantina.

Jak sighed. "Unfortunately, you're very very right. And the problem is, power is very difficult to give up when everyone else is powerful, too. I mean, hell, everyone I've ever met is more powerful than I am. It's like reverse entropy - as you get more powerful, so does everyone else, too."

He ordered a drink, and blew out a breath. "Besides, I'm not even aware of how to change myself back."

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

He ordered a drink and listened to his spiel with a nod in understanding as he would gingerly make his way over to a table near the corner end of the cantina, a less populated one, motioning for Jak to follow once he got his drink. "The thing is, for the rest of us... Our power was gained through training, through hard work and dedication... Through hardship, through experience, through pain... And you got yours because Circe wanted you to be her certain shade of green. It's a crutch. So... Why not toss the crutch and take that power naturally?" The Jedi would inquire.

"I'm sure we can find a way. Circe did it" He remarked flatly with a smirk. "And yeah, I saw her as a human fully last I saw her. Y'know, when I slapped the taste out of her mouth, and later on promptly punched her in her ugly face and threw her around like a ragdoll"

[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Cause the crutch is the only thing that lets me walk," Jak explained. "Before I turned all plant, I was basically Force-dead. Just your average, over-confident, lousy smuggler. And now I can communicate and live with plants." He shrugged, giving Josh a 'what can I do? and yes I'm sorry' smile. "Smugglers are too weak. I had been trounced more than once before I met the OP."

"Yeeaahh..." Jak inhaled through his teeth. "She kinda died to do that... And she was already into weird... Sith... stuff...which brought her back." He shook his head. "Wish I had been there with you, man."

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

"If you're force-dead, you're force-dead. Being a plant doesn't change that, it just lets you talk to plants... Nothing else" He remarked. "And there's always ways to combat being force-dead... I've heard of many cases where they've been able to regain their presence, their aura in the force. It just takes work, time... Effort. Something you obviously don't seem to want to do, if you feel you're insignificant in comparison to people who have trained their entire lives" He would observe aloud, shaking his head.

"Besides, what's wrong with being a non force user?" He asked. "I've heard of many NFUs who're famed for their power. You don't need to be otherworldly to have power"

To his remark about Circe's ability to change back, he let out a sigh. "I'm sure there's a way. And if you weren't there, I wouldn't have slapped her for her words about you. You would have done it for me" He added, smirking.

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"... For the record, I haven't been sitting on my rear for the past five years, or however long it's been," Jak hesitated. "Cause I have a weapon, so I should use it, right? Whether or not I'm grateful for having it. So... I've been working on my powers. Getting better. I hope."

"I've never heard of any," he said dryly. "Then again, I haven't really heard anything for... five years. So things might have changed."

"Well, if Circe isn't a Vinithi anymore, then that makes me unique," he said. "And wouldn't it be ironic for the fly to kill the spider?"

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

"Sure. And that's well and grand, but how good are you with a blade?" He would inquire. "I've trained myself so that if I one day go force dead, or if I need to hide myself and not rely on the Force... I can. I'm just as dangerous without the Force, as I am with it. And that's what makes me as dangerous as I am in battle" He remarked. "Don't rely entirely on your plant status... Because if someone finds a weakness in it, then there will be nothing that you can do"

"But.... I suppose that makes you unique then. But don't think you can use it against Circe. She'll know everything about the form. Including its weaknesses"

[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"I'm alright with a blade - and that's both with a lightsaber and a physical beskad. I had up to 'Knight' training with the Force and with a saber."

"Actually, I've already changed myself to be Force dead, essentially." He stepped back. "Check my Force presence." If/when Josh would check it, he would find no more than that of an average Corellian.

"Unfortunately, that means I have to suppress my plant-side anyway," Jak said, moving back to his drink. "If I change to a plant, my Force presence resurfaces. So I'm working on tech-ing my way while being Force-dead. It's coming along pretty well. Though there's one last thing I need to do."

"Yeah, I know. Taking out Circe is going to be long-run. Gonna need to train up heavily, get all tricked out with the best tech there is, and pray that any vestiges of compassion for me will make her weak."

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

"I see...." The Jedi Master would speak calmly, sipping his drink as he allowed Jak to speak. "Myself... I've been trained to and been officially awarded the rank of Jedi Master. Shortly after you disappeared, I was elected the Jedi Order's Grandmaster, before being betrayed and made to step down later on, resulting in me leaving the Order, but retaining my status as a Master" He spoke, a tad bit of irritation in his voice when he brought that up. "I've been trained well with a blade and with the Force, and I'm constantly training, practicing... Not allowing myself to get rusty, and making sure that I improve over time. I've done so for years, so that explains how I am now" He remarked.

He checked his force presence as he asked, and raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean making yourself force dead?" He remarked suspiciously.

[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"And I applaud that," Jak smiled honestly. "And ditto for the blade training... but do you know how to use a physical blade? A completely solid one."

"Okay, not Force 'Dead'," Jak clarified, fingers curling in quotation marks. "More like 'Suppressed'. Like how you put a suppressor on a gun, and it can almost completely silence the sound, but not entirely. But when doing so, it sacrifices range and penetration quality, so... you get the good with the bad. Like, right now, I'm Force Suppressed; not a blank " 0 " in the force, but more like white noise in a background made of white noise."
