LOCATION INFORMATION

Capital City: Erith
Planetary Features: Eryndor blends fertile agricultural zones with a significant military presence, presenting itself as both a verdant heartland and a fortress world. Fortified city-states and rural outposts dot the landscape, supported by weapons testing ranges, hardened military installations, and orbital defense platforms. Despite its natural beauty, Eryndor remains heavily militarized — a breadbasket armed to the teeth. The planet’s development is a balanced mix of rural farmland and militarized urban zones.

Major Locations:
  • Erith – The capital city of Eryndor and seat of planetary governance. Positioned at the heart of the planet’s fertile lowlands, Erith serves as both the administrative center and cultural crossroads of the Eryndori people. Its proximity to the Grand Exchange reinforces its status as the logistical heart of the world.
    .
  • Varnhold – The central military command and strategic operations complex of Eryndor. Varnhold houses the War Council, planetary defense networks, and the most prestigious officer training academy on the planet. Heavily fortified and symbolically positioned at the edge of Erith’s governmental district, Varnhold stands as both shield and spear — the brain of Eryndor’s militarized might.
    .
  • The Grand Exchange – Eryndor’s largest starport and primary commercial hub. The Grand Exchange facilitates the import of weaponry, starship components, and luxury technologies while serving as the chief node for the export of the planet’s agricultural output. High-speed maglev rail systems connect the Exchange directly to the manufacturing city of Karnak and the agricultural hub of Orran City.
    .
  • Orran City – The agricultural capital of Eryndor, renowned for its expansive processing facilities, storage depots, and export infrastructure. Nestled amid fertile plains, Orran City is the breadbasket of the Six Sisters, feeding not only Eryndor itself but also its trade partners across Echani space and beyond.
    .
  • Karnak – Eryndor’s industrial stronghold, specializing in the manufacture of military vehicles, munitions, and starship components. Karnak is directly linked to the Grand Exchange via high-speed rail, ensuring rapid distribution of its output. The city’s skyline is dominated by towering factories, smoke stacks, and armored transport lines — a stark contrast to the planet’s otherwise verdant surroundings.
    .
  • Fort Brask – The largest ground-side military installation outside of Varnhold. Fort Brask serves as a rapid deployment base for mechanized infantry divisions and armored units, with hardened bunkers and subterranean logistics tunnels. Positioned along Eryndor’s outer defense perimeter, Brask is the planet’s first line of surface defense against planetary incursion.
    .
  • Iron Halo – A massive orbital station that functions as planetary shield generator, customs checkpoint, and shipyard all in one. Iron Halo controls the flow of space traffic in and out of Eryndor’s atmosphere and provides heavy defensive coverage in conjunction with the Eryndor Defense Grid (EDG). Its silhouette — a ring-shaped structure encircling a central command spire — is a visible symbol of Eryndor’s military power and sovereignty.
    .
  • Eryndor Defense Grid (EDG) – An integrated network of ground-based anti-orbital cannons, missile batteries, and shield generators spread across key regions of the planet. The EDG works in tandem with Iron Halo to ensure total coverage of Eryndor’s airspace, providing a formidable layered defense against orbital assault.

POPULATION

Native Species: Echani
Immigrated Species: Thyrsians
Population: Heavy
Demographics: The overwhelming majority of Eryndor’s population is Echani, with scattered pockets of Thyrsian minorities integrated throughout Eryndori society. Outside of these two groups, permanent non-Echani residents are extremely rare. Following the Planeshift, the Grand Exchange has seen a notable uptick in visiting Humans and Near-Humans—traders, merchants, and mercenaries—but few remain on-world beyond the duration of their contracts or business dealings.

Primary Languages:
  • Galactic Basic
  • Echani
  • Thyrsian (primarily spoken among minority communities and in some military contexts)
Culture: Eryndori culture embodies a disciplined blend of martial pride and agricultural tradition. Combat training is treated as both a rite of passage and a civic duty, with even farming communities expected to maintain basic defensive readiness. Festivals and civic events often fuse displays of martial prowess with communal agricultural celebrations, reinforcing the bond between labor, land, and defense.

While the military holds a place of high esteem, Eryndori society does not lean into oppressive militarism; instead, service is viewed as an honorable calling that protects the world’s way of life. The people take pride in their efficiency, stoicism, and the delicate balance they maintain between verdant abundance and armed vigilance.

Eryndori loyalty to their monarchy remains strong, with widespread reverence for the King and the royal family. Much like the cultural adoration seen toward the Crown on worlds like Naboo or Alderaan, the monarchy here is regarded as a stabilizing symbol of unity and national pride—representing both tradition and the resilience of the Eryndori people in the face of the recent Planeshift upheaval.

GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY

Government: Absolute Monarchy (Crown of Eryndor)
Affiliation:
  • The Sith Order – Eryndor, now within Sith Order space, cooperates fully while fiercely preserving its cultural identity.
  • Eshan – Though now sovereign, Eryndor remains bound by blood and history, ever ready to defend Eshan by the King’s will.
Wealth: High — Eryndor’s agriculture, arms manufacturing, and active trade fuel its economy.
Stability: High — Despite the Planeshift, firm leadership and cultural discipline maintain cohesion.
Freedom & Oppression: Eryndor enjoys a relatively high degree of civil freedom, balanced by strict expectations of service and duty. While daily life for civilians is peaceful and largely self-determined, military service—whether direct or in support roles—is a cultural expectation, especially among the youth. Laws are clear and harshly enforced, particularly regarding treason, smuggling, and acts against the monarchy. The Eryndori people generally view these laws as necessary guardians of their prosperity and stability, not as instruments of oppression. Foreigners are subject to higher scrutiny, especially near military zones and sensitive installations.

MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY

Military: Eryndor maintains a formidable and highly disciplined military, shaped by Echani martial traditions and a cultural expectation of service. Every able-bodied citizen undergoes basic combat training, with military service—whether on the front lines or in support capacities—viewed as an honorable duty to the Crown and to the land. The armed forces operate under the direct authority of the monarchy, with comprehensive readiness maintained across land, sea, air, and space. Eryndor’s doctrine emphasizes precision, layered defense, and control—strength not for conquest, but for guardianship.

Technology: Eryndor operates at Galactic Standard technological levels, with localized enhancements focused on planetary defense, precision artillery, and advanced shielding systems. Key infrastructure such as Iron Halo and the Eryndor Defense Grid reflect this focus, blending traditional Echani discipline with modern military innovation. The planet is particularly known for its excellence in ground-based anti-orbital weaponry, fortified logistics networks, and high-efficiency mechanized support units, ensuring rapid response capability across its territory.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Originally settled as part of Echani expansion efforts beyond Eshan, Eryndor’s fertile lands and stable climate made it a natural choice for agricultural development and military staging. For generations, it served as the breadbasket of the Six Sisters, providing food, materials, and soldiers to support the cluster’s collective strength. While never the political heart of the region, Eryndor held quiet importance as its shield and granary — a world where discipline and labor stood hand-in-hand.

This balance was violently disrupted by the Planeshift, a catastrophic astrographical event that tore Eryndor from its place among the Six Sisters and flung it into the Outer Rim Territories. Though the displacement spared the planet from physical destruction, the sudden severing of trade routes, military lines, and cultural ties sent shockwaves through Eryndori society. Cut off from their Queen and kin, the people looked inward, rallying behind their King to preserve order and identity in the face of uncertainty.

Rather than collapse under the weight of isolation, Eryndor adapted. The Crown of Eryndor formally declared independence from the Echani throne — not out of rebellion, but from necessity — and began laying the foundation for sovereignty. While politically independent, the King decreed that Eryndor would always remain loyal to the blood of Eshan, vowing to stand in defense of the Echani Queen should her call ever come.

Following the Planeshift, Eryndor established a cooperative relationship with the Sith Order, embracing pragmatic collaboration while fiercely protecting its cultural heritage. Now, as both a fortress and a breadbasket, Eryndor stands armed and unyielding — a world displaced, but never diminished.
