Utilizing a form of plasma rocket technology, The EE-5 produces a bolt of unstable and superheated plasma that burns at a similar temperature to lightsabers and sticks to targets on impact shortly before and\or immediately exploding.

After an engagement with Imperial Death Watch Traitors during the Mandalorian Union's civil war, Unionists of House Vizsla created these weapons for a group once called "The Nite Owls" who wielded these weapons in their shadow-crusade against the Sith aligned splinter group.
This group was soon forgotten after infighting within the Union, which soon fell and was overtaken by Sith Remnants. But the legacy of these weapons carries on, Now be manufactured by the Black Hand Collective.
