Yasha Cadera
Mom'alor
Economic Expansion in an Even Keel
Aquaris
Mand'alor the Infernal stood on the open platform of the Flying Fortress above Aquaris' southern ocean. The wind brushed across her face, warm and comforting after so long in her buy'ce. Sealed up in her armour, the young Mand'alor took the luxury of a fresh breeze.
This might have seemed an unlikely place to invite certain companies to come and pitch their wares to the Mandalorian Empire, yet the more Yasha thought of economic expansion, the more she wanted honesty to reign. Why find a conference hall, when one could stand atop a location of utter and complete Mandalorian design?
Mandalorians were not gentle, nor were they tame.
Mandalorians neither knelt, nor allowed the yoke of control to press against their shoulders.
Yet, to become a friend of Mandalore, and an economic boon to the people, was to become part of the wild, yet tactful and plucky people... even for a moment. So it was Yasha sent invites to Primo Victorian, to Jaeger Solutions, APEX and other such companies whose current structures allowed for an open hand and welcome to the austere, yet recovering Mandalorian table.
"Mand'alor." Ambrose saluted and stood behind Yasha, watching the girl, who by rights should still be one.
"Oya, Ambrose Vizsla... it's a beautiful sea. And I like this fortress. Might as well commend Australis for it, eh?"
"You should put your buy'ce on, Mand'alor." Ambrose put his gauntlet-clad hand on Yasha's shoulder and moved within sight. Although she could not see the Gurlanin's face for his own helm, Yasha heard the soothing rumble of his baritone voice. "And it's Mantis now, or did you forget?"
Yasha chuckled and brushed a strand of raven hair out of her face. "How can I forget the amount of grumbling, when you and Ka'lo made your case? Ambrose and Ka'lo Mantis. Dangerous name to take, eh?"
"Dangerous for any who tries to spoil our fun." Ambrose put Yasha's buy'ce on her head and clicked the seal, leaning between the space to give his new adopted niece a keldabe kiss. "Stand tall, we're all behind you."
Inside her helmet, Yasha grinned and turned to step away from the bow of the gigantic vessel. The delegates were arriving, on the Fortress' other side. It was time to continue Mandalore's regrowth.
"Now, where's Australis and his kids? I want Cassi in on this. She's got the sort of level head that makes me sing."
