Private Eclipse The Skies

Viera would follow, making mental notes as they went. She had been aboard many vessels and seen many squads of men, she didn’t really take note of them figuring she would get a chance to see the data eventually. “I am surprised you aren’t with the Sith or something. Granted I got tired of their power struggles. Being a non-force user in a world of force user gets tiring. They always seem to be fighting for who is master or when that isn’t being fought over, fighting the jedi or whatever side calls themselves good. “ She had a low opnion after years of messing with force users. She liked the idea of neutral force soldiers who weren’t special just soldiers with the force rather than a gun or ship. The whole morality of light or dark just gave her a headache. So many resources were wasted for the sake of either side.

There was a look. "Once upon a time perhaps... but I have seen what many of the sith would do. They lack structure... lack order. I might not be a saint but I much prefer order and discipline whihc for a time the silver jedi provided but they lack resolve. They don't looks at the larger picture and only encourage those who are within their inner circle to be special. So I left... I just turned on stealth fields of the ships and jumped away and no one has seemed to be the wiser. Though if my ex wife finds me there might be hell to pay...." She laughed a little at that and that was a tale to give as she and Alyisa Mithel Alyisa Mithel had gone through quite an adventure that few might be able to relate to.

"You were married?" She asked with a giggle as she followed towards the vessel. "I am impressed your followers stayed with you, not the silver jedi, considering you abandoned them." She was curious how she just took this force away. It seemed too easy. How could a faction just lose this fleet and not care. It seemed insane. "So the Silver Jedi, huh. Didn't take you for that type." She finally acknowledge the fact that Sala'dine must of joined such an organization to steel their fleet, seemed like a strange fit for her.

"My crew and recruits are instilled with training and a sense of unity in purpose. The second fleet offered structure where the others just seemed to toss theminto a fighter because 'anyone can be a pilot if they believe it' doesn't stand well with me. Whe the third or was it fifth Imperial remnant settled near them they were absorbed because it started to fall apart and I just sort of went with it. Grandmaster Yune and Crieff offered much in the way of resouces and later ones just started ignoring in favor of those who were sycophantic to them as opposed to professional." Sala'dine said it as the transport continued towards and the Aralani station was swarming with the massive heavy wasp cruisers that acknowledged them on scanners while the ship was going in and she spoke... "But yes I was married... briefly and by accident. We were celebrating her promotion ad someone infiltrated the jedi temple and rugged us. We woke up three weeks later on zeltros."

"That sounds amazing. You have to tell me the story sometime. " She giggled and looked at the screens watching the ship via the camera feeds. It was an sight to behold. The patrols, the hub. Aralani station seemed to be a nice new home from what she could see. The excitement of the idea of a tour was getting to her. "So what is there to know about it?" She asked with a smile. "So is it just you and me then. It seems we have our work cut out for us."
She pondered what to do with a fleet that could build itself and hide like this. "I think we should put out a call for explorers, get noble fools ready to die exploring, hide the station, keep them on a ship or two that is large enough to handle the capacity, and find the diamonds in the rough as we test them against the unknown regions. We could maybe even build a base out there to house them, make a sort of force and stay out of the galaxy and their politics. That way we can get the manpower and resources to grow."

Sala'dine was listening to the proposed idea of it and she nodded. The idea of putting feelers out and finding the diamonds in the rough would be something to do.. They needed maybe some of the highly trained and skilled. It helped that she knew admirals like @Reshmer and Gir Quee Gir Quee who had been very talented or Viera Kisep Viera Kisep and even when he wanted to be Sor-Jan Xantha knew how to command ships. The pair here on the station would be able to move into the hanger itself which had the different models of the fighters, Each one black from the darker hulls and their pilots in the uniforms. Where Sala'dine was leading her in the station as she spoke though was through the halls with uniformed recruits and pilots. "Aralani is self sustaining and contained, molecular furnaces, paddocks for food and air recyclers. It can survive with a full station and feed everyone... as it stands excess reserveswe might just waste make for valuable trade components with other lesser resourced worlds."

“Impressive, so no need for general supplies. I am guessing the only exception would be parts?” She asked as she walked along side Sala’dine. “How many souls can you feed or is the problem more space than supplies. “ She asked as she observed the dark black hulls. “So these are?” She gestured to the hulls. The entire station was impressive. It was sad to think that a faction could just forget this existed. The potential was endless. Being self-sustaining and able to hide like this meant they could set up anywhere. She kept looking around, making sure to note anything worth noting and also to watch the crew’s reactions.

"Nightshadow hulls, perfect for stealth fighters and the gravity modulators to let them move around." She said it and thought about it. In terms of people they had plenty of space and supplies well they had the technology to develop their own as needed. She had a grin on her face though bringing some of the information up on screens for them as the hanger bay gave way to one of the dry docks where they had the Omni class... massive and built like a small city. "We have taken some of the best aspects of older model ships like the venator and the chiss designed star destroyers. Giving it a massive array of armaments and defense but also hanger space. we haven't had to compromise like many other designs." She was also pointing out the pickets. "Unmanned picket ships able to swarm and patrol an area."

"Impressive, So they are run by droid brains or what? " Viera asked curiously. The ships were impressive. "They are all capable of hiding?" She looked at them, her eyes taking in each line. "Have to love a good fleet. I think I might be in love." Viera smirked as she had to admit that this was just what she wanted in her life again. Way more exciting than the holo games. " So what is next?" The ships were impressive, the discipline of the soldiers, just how she liked it. This might be just short of the perfect job. The only way it would be better is if it had more aspects of the empire.

She had a look on her face while showing a few more things. "we have even developed stealth weapons. The Nyeto Launcher is capable of firing while cloaked compared to others and you won't drop out of a cloaking field." She continued the tour of Aralani Station and its different ships. From the Rtas Class Destroyer to the Abyssal Autocannons which were just something massive and being attached to the bottom of the destroyer hulls. "The abyssal cannon is maybe our most destructive measure as they have a focused field disruptor to pass through shields and enough explosive in the warheads to vaporize most facilities in a mountain.... and possibly including the mountain itself."

"It can bypass shields.. and explode... So you have tons of them?" This was crazy, how even. Viera was floored. "I don't even know..." She shook her head. and took a deep breath. "So do I get a fancy cabin and permissions? What are your inter crew dating policies. What will my official responsibilities be?" This was to distract herself from her own excitement. "Sorry, just thoughts in my head. I am impressed, you have quite the armory." Viera kept up with Sala'dine Sala'dine This place was huge and there was so much to see. She wondered if there ever would be an end.

So many questions... best to take it one at a time. "You will be here with me developing new ships or measures for them. Anything that could be engineered into the designs if possible or working with the AI's we developed to try and figure out any possible scenarios." That would cover that... having a skilled mind that knew combat and knew what to look for or what needed to be protected. Would benefit as they worked on. They would have areas and sectors that could be used to practice mock fleeting engagements as they searched for a semi permanent base of operations... "e will also be needing to develop concentrated wings and squadrons for the fighters to get the best allocations of them." Now that should handle that... "As to dating it is depending on the situation. I think most prefer it to be private. Just don't let the emotions interfere with objectivity in combat. Why? Are you already planning to fly them around in one of the fighters?"

"No, just having fun, you know Human Resources sort of questions for a new job." Viera shook her head. "Better be up front before there is a problem you know. Who knows, might find some lovely specimen to bed and need to know the answer to that question." She kept walking with Sala'dine Sala'dine . Then she decided to not be quiet about another question. "So, then could we run a simulator or mock battle so I can see the fleet in action before I give any recommendations. " The whole thing was crazy. That she could be part of this! It was a dream come true. "So anything else?"

Sala'dine

Admiral of the Ghost Fleet
Oh so it was just in theory well that was always good to get out of the way. A smirk played on her face. "I think we can tr and organize a mock battle soon enough. There are some innovations I have been wanting to try in terms of fleets and the warsong AI we made based upon Grand Admiral Thrawn is helpful for learning sideways thinking." She said it and maybe a day or two.. the biggest thing will mostly be organizing the pilots and getting them for training... the second would be the location. "We are just going to have to work on some of it and pick a good location for it. Stealth fleets work best in situations like fields of debris or asteroids."

“Yes, first I will play with the simulator. Then we can do some mock battles. The real question is what do we do once we have carved out a chunk of space. This style of fleet is great but the second you put down roots you have to deal with the realities that presents, unless we built ourselves to be a migrant fleet or something.” Viera thought about that, it was a bad idea if the entire fleet and base relied on stealth. Then even if they built another base or something they could also focus on stealth and never have a set point to defend. It would mean that if they did get caught, they would have to fight uphill but still that would just mean they would have to lose the enemy and hide again. “Any other toys to show me?”

"Always." She said it and motioned for Viera Kisep Viera Kisep to keep following her. "For carving out a section of the unknown regions well we could try but I prefer the fleet move until we are certain. A resource rich world that can be used to substantially improve our odds." As she was walking it led the way towards one of the Praestigiae Yuma lines that were within the station and would get them deeper into it. "We have the Superheavy Cruiser which is just meant to be a beast based off of the old heavy cruisers from the katana fleet just larger in scale. Saotome LAAT/S for troop transportation and establishing forward command points on a world falls to the AT-TE/S." She said it while letting them go deeper itno the station and it opened up into one of the massive biodomes where they had a city scaled like an Imperial world.

"Wow!" She said looking at everything. "I don't even know what to say anymore.. this place is amazing. Let me move in already, I am sold! Hook line and sinker. You have me." She laughed and took a seat in the tram. "I think I might be in heaven. Did I hit my head and die?" She was being over dramatic but well this station was way more than she ever imagined and the hits kept coming. Biosphere's autocannons that pierced shields all of the ships stealth. Where did this tour go next? How on earth did so much tech get here. She had a new appreciation for Sala'dine Sala'dine

There was something filling as it were about getting a new allie... one who was willing to work towards a goal and would be there to help. The yuma was set to move around and forward as she spoke to Viera Kisep Viera Kisep . "A woman has an idea. The idea attracts others, likeminded. The idea expands, the idea becomes the institution. What was the idea?" Sala'dine stood there as the yuma stopped and the city itself around them whe she came out of it leading Kisep. "Chaos is for amateurs. Order, tactics, engineering — now that's fun!" She walked past several lines of recruits who were being taught how to strip their fighters and cannibalize to fix equipment or use it in the field for shelter. "When we started the first real fleet build up in the sith empire, before we knew it, every charlatan and pretender was imitating us! You know what they got now? Fleets of super star destroyers. Isn't that precious? The idea has become the institution, Kisep. Time to move on." Before Kisep could protest there was a look on her face. "I want you to develop a ship so damn big, so powerful. The gods'll notice us again, that's what I'm sayin'. I want all of those here with us to be able to look me straight in the eye one more time and say "Are we havin' fun or what Admiral!"

"You know I am not a designer, I just command them. But for a ship that big, we need a lot of resources. I am good at capturing the power to procure those resources. Its a dream I think we can make, but we need to get bigger, become an idea. An institution that people want to live and die and fight for. We have to have the system set up to promote a stable base of power to procure the resources to build something like that an maintain it. You me, these people, we need more we need an empire to build something that big." Viera said, passionately. It was the truth, to do something on that scale, they needed a lot of work.

"I am sorry, you probably already know this but you and me, as good as we are, we need more. Right now we are nothing more than another rogue power." She sighed and wondered why this idea wasn't bigger already, it had a great foundation, this station these men and women. These ships. It was all amazing.

There was a moment while the admiral looked at Viera Kisep Viera Kisep and moved forward. One hand coming out and she got close to speak softly and controlled. "Oh we are much much more then that Viera." The grin on her face was small and sharp like a daggers edge before she was leading the way into a central tower of the city to a massive map room. THe hardlight display of the galaxy and specifically the regions they were in could be helpful as scout and probe droids had been sent out to try and give them an idea of where to head next. "Now lets see where we are going to be heading... I am thinking here near the spires of hell.. the region is unknown but the worlds scouted had been reported much heavier in resources."
