-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Major Locations:
  1. The Water Forest: A massive sprawling rainforest spanning across 150 kilometers, a place where many natural lakes and waterfalls dot the wooded landscape. Many of the Nexu make their nests near these lakes to have easy access to water for their young. The Water Forest is also home to many clans of Drowai.
  2. Wild Lands: The Wild Lands (75 kilometers) are untouched and untamed due to the amount of Nexu in the area, and this is usually a place reserved for hunting local Nexu. The Wild Lands are sometimes used for events and ceremonies due to the mass open space, it also is a place where the tribes may come to do battle fairly against one another.
  3. The Moot: The most sacred place on Drowan is The Moot, where the Queens assemble on neutral ground where weapons are not allowed. The Moot is a place where words are the weapons of choice, and negotiations are discussed openly here. This is also where outsiders would be taken to meet the Queens. There are many such Moots on Drowan.
  4. Pools of Tears: These massive craters are the result of the Netherworld crisis, where meteors bombarded the planet surface. The locals named this rather beautiful, yet tragic location the Pools of Tears which eventually became hotsprings. Due to the natural heat that they generate, the Pools of Tears became a breeding ground for the Nexu.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Culture: The world of Drowan is a harsh one, where fighting for one's survival is a day to day struggle. The native Drowai are a mono-gendered species of warrior-women who gather into tribal bands that focus on the survival of the group, these tribal bands are known as Queendoms which are lead by a respective Queen who is the greatest warrior within the Queendom. A Queendom is ruled absolutely by its Queen who leads her Queendom in all things, and gets the final say on all Queendom matters.~ The Queendoms are tight-knit societies where its members are seperated into castes; the Queen being the highest attainable, venerable position, followed by the Queen's Guard, Warriors, the Hunters, and finally the Slaves. The Drowan culture is one where strength prevails above all else, and only by personal combat can a Drowai elevate themselves in the social hierarchy. Being warlike the Drowai have no true artists, or even a standing religion for that matter.

Technology: Primitive; They wield bows and spears, and wear little clothing. However, they do have advanced forms of social systems.

History: The untamed planet of Drowan was first discovered and documented by sentientologists who had accidentally found the planet after conducting research on the nearby world of Gamorr. These sentientologists made contact with the locals and were taken to The Moot where they met several leaders of the local natives and spent many months gaining the trust of the natives, where they documented their findings of their social lives and the planet itself. These sentientologists were surprised to find out that they were infact not the first ones to find the planet of Drowan, deciphering from the natives that poachers had infact crashlanded on the planet with several Nexu onboard their ship. The local Drowai investigated the crashed anomaly and the poachers were less than friendly, and didn't survive; The Nexu had apparently escaped their pens within the vessel and quickly adapted to the climate of the planet, populating it with a sizable population in just a few years. The sentientologists eventually left the planet two years after first landing there, and then reported their findings at the University of Coruscant. Many years later around 840-844 ABY during the galactic crisis known as the Netherworld occurred which had a tragic effect on the planet, meteor showers had plagued the world during the Netherworld crisis and killed an astronomical number of the planet's population. These meteorites would eventually become the small mountains that dot the landscapes, and stand defiantly on a hostile world.

Notable PCs: None yet.

Intent: I am so very proud of myself in creating this fictional world, I have spent hours doing research and creating this planet of Drowan. I was inspired by thinking of the Amazonian warrior women, and crafted a functional society out of that with my own personal flair. I have not yet posted the Drowai as a species but I am going to as I have already written and fleshed out their physiology, traits, and cultural society. I hope this world will be similar to Gamorr in the sense that is it untamed and full of a proud and independent warrior culture, and I also hope that you all like what I have created, and find joy in it just as I do.

So there are only two things in the submission that really need to be addressed, and they are relatively minor things at that:

  • jbec1337 said:
Population: 100 million. 85% Drowai, and 15% Nexu.
This is mainly meant for just the sentient species so nexu should be removed from this count
  • In the history section, you need some references to site canon events such as the Gulag Virus and the Netherworld event. Both of these events can be found under the Holonet tab at the top of the site page for ease of access. Gulag probably won't be too important to an isolated species and world like this, but Netherworld effected every living thing so I need something added in for that.

Changed the population to the correct percentage.
Added history to include Netherworld, and it's effect on the planet.
Added a major location that was created from the Netherworld crisis.
