Dranok Lussk for Supreme Chancellor!

A uniformed figure took the podium of the senate, a pair of 501st legion Stormtroopers flanking him. It'd been dozens of years since the last Emperor had stood in this exact spot, Palpatine. Oh how Dranok cherished the man, but he was a weak ruler. Order and peace were definitions of his regime but happiness and freedom weren't part of it. Today, the current Emperor planned to combine all.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the Republic, I come here on peaceful terms. Given the Empire's senate seat by the Chalacta Conference, I plan to bring order and peace into the galaxy." He raised his hand to gesture towards the elite stormtrooper beside him. "Our military is the strongest in the entire galaxy. The best soldiers, the best equipment, and the largest of all factions. As the Supreme Chancellor, I can assure you that we will protect you. We even protected the innocents on Yaga Minor during our liberation of their people from the Mandalorian threat."

"I know many of you are stuck in the past with my Empire's reputation, but I urge each and every one of you to push forward a single scrap of evidence that dictates my actions as Emperor immoral. My regime is different than the rest of those pathetic dictators. I promote freedom and stability, none of this nonsense presented by your current senators."

"Now is not the time for this nonsense thrown at innocent citizens of the Republic. You need your rights now more than ever with the Senate in shambles. Those two individuals who wrecked havoc upon the building will be found and dealt with accordingly, on live channels. Justice shall be served, I can promise you that."

His throat was getting dry. He reached over to retrieve a glass of water, slipping the crystal-clear contents down his throat.

"I understand I've been going on about what the Empire will do, but what have we done for you prior to this? Trade, peace on your eastern sector, and reforming our government like the Chalacta Conference asked for. I am a sensible man, I don't like to destroy because that makes it hard when I have to rebuild. With that in mind, I'd like to keep the Republic intact because nobody wants this place to split apart. I will not suggest a merging into the Sith Empire at all, that decision will solely be left to the citizens of the Republic if I am elected."

"From what I can see, there will be no downsides to this arrangement. The Axis Powers will hold you in good favor, our close allies including the: CIS, Atrisian Empire, Fringe Confederacy, and Black Suns will all come to aid you. I, Dranok Lussk, can ensure that happens smoothly and in your favor."

"I am an honorable man, I only make promises which can and will be kept."

OOC: I know this may look foolish from the Emperor, but my IC claim is true. I've yet to commit one act of cruelty during my time as Emperor ICly and can ensure that remains the same. As I stated before, a merger is a possibility only if you guys opt for it. If not, I'll lead both factions respectively. Chancellor for the Republic and Emperor for the Empire. Major changes have been happening ICly and OOCly within the Republic and I'd like for this faction to stay intact, moreso with its playerbase. I just urge you all to view this in an IC manner and please decide sensibly. I have a Republic character and stay informed with these matters, there's no lack in leadership skills when I'm mentioned. Anyways, thanks for reading and vote smart!

Aliannah had just come back from a short vacation and it was her first day in the Senate again. She was simply sitting on her place, reading news. There was still some time until the Senate session, so she just sat there and thought about everything. Yes, basically she thought about everything.

But as the session started, Aliannah became extremely surprised and confused. A man was talking in front of the whole Senate. But he wasn't a normal man. He was not a citizen, not a senator... he was the Emperor. The ruler of Sith Empire. The whole situation almost made Aliannah throw up. But she managed not to do that.

As she listened to the speech, she constantly tried to find a button on her pod which would mute the man or something like that. She hated the Sith Empire. Her homeland was not ready for anything like that... Her homeland wanted to be a part of the Republic, not to be ruled by a person who tries to say, that he comes in peace... No one can trust a Sith...

Diana stalked through the halls of the Senate building. On her back sat Tyrfing and on her hips once again Sat her two lightsabers, the gold and black curved hilts nestling tightly on her body. She was cloaked in a light silver robe, her eyes covered with a specially made pair of goggles and her red hair flowed beneath a hood seemingly strung of spider silk. Her face was one of pure determination, her body language screamed of righteous anger, her entire form seemed to be on a mission.

There was a fire to her, one that had been ignited by recent events. The Republic it seemed was coming apart, the Sith waltzed on their capital, destroyed the senate building, caused the extinction of the lives of hundreds of thousands of Coruscanti citizens, and yet for some reason that Diana could not explain the Sith Emperor now stood within the halls of the Senate. No one had tried to arrest him, no one had tried to stop him, and no one had shut him up before he could even speak.

They listened to him, this monster, this genocidal serial killer. They let his tongue flap into their ears. What could be called rage burned up inside Diana as she turned another corner within the Senate building. Her feelings on this were quite clear here, and she was intent on making them be heard.

The Jedi Knight Rounded another corner, and then entered an empty pod within the senate chamber. She had no idea who this pod belonged to, no idea if it was supposed to be used, but at the time she didn't particularly care. Diana was here to do the job that all Jedi should be doing, she was here to arrest the Emperor of the entire Sith Empire.

“I'm sorry Emperor. But you will not be allowed to run.” Her voice boomed throughout the senate chamber, her tone filled with righteous fury. “I ask you to place any weapons you have on the floor of the podium and stand down. By my mandate given to me by the Jedi Order upon my ascension to my post as a Jedi Knight I hereby declare you under arrest.”

Diana didn't care who tried Dranok, but he would be taken into custody, and he would be brought down.

Back straight, Selena sat outside of the incredibly damaged senate building. As of yet the senate had yet to relocate and were somewhat comically still meeting in the ruins as opposed to trying to make do some other way. Word was they would move soon, likely to Anaxes or another fortress world not far from the core. It could not happen soon enough though.

Typically Selena Halcyon would be far far away from Coruscant, but the upcoming senate elections were drawing a strange kind of stir. Some of it surrounded the fact that the previously Chancellor had foolishly permitted the Sith to have a seat in the senate, for what reason the exile could not even begin to fathom. The Empire deserved an embassy perhaps but not a seat, even if it could not vote. They should have no way to speak in the senate unless expressly permitted. Yet they were given free reign.

Then the word came in that they would use that seat as a way to smuggle in the new Emperor. An Emperor who was put into power by the very people that had just destroyed the senate building. It was insulting to the order. When the feed that she had on the proceedings on confirmed that he was present and no less vying for the Chancellorship, Selena was absolutely shocked. Even further shocked when the Jedi Knight who had left the order after Contruum, Diana Moridena turned up and stated that he was under arrest. Something Selena was certainly of the same mind of but the action was rather rash and the exiled master could not fathom that Diana had the authority and support to pull this off.

The powder keg just had a match lit near it.

Dranok and his Stormtroopers left the podium, with hope to return to their private room, filled with a handful of even more 501st Stormtroopers. He gave a sigh, still a little nervous from speaking before a room full of potential enemies. As the Emperor strolled away from the stands, a young woman came charging at him, anger within her soul. Given the situation right after his speech, it made him smile.

He let her speech her insolent words as the Stormtroopers beside him pumped full of adrenaline. It was a pathetic move to try to arrest a government official set in place by the Chalacta Conference. Her petty authority meant nothing. With a wave to dismiss his soldiers, he spoke with a calm tone, unlike this Jedi had. "Excuse me young Jedi, but I'm trying to go home peacefully. But before I go, I'd like to know what charges are being pressed and would like to confirm this authority the Order has bestowed upon you."

He smiled even brighter. "I also hope you know that aggressive action is directly in violation of the Chalacta Conference and your sole actions will doom this Republic to an easily preventable war."

"And as for weapons, I brought none of my own." He reached down to lift the folds of his uniform's tunic, revealing an empty spot where his saberstaff usually would've been located. "Now if you'all allow me, I'd like to return home and get something to eat."

So, this was the capital of the Republic and symbol of the Lightsides weakness? It smelled disgusting, felt disgusting and Krag absolutely hated it when he first stepped onto the planet. The Emperor had summoned him to be a bodyguard to him as he attended a senate meeting as an Imperial representative. He wasn't exactly sure why the Lussk would send for him, it wasn't like the men had that great of a relationship. Though, if Krag had to take a guess, he would say Lussk wanted him for his appearance. Very few people would try anything against a creature most of the galaxy were ignorant of and that those who did know of his species only knew that they were viscous and had killed those sent to make first contact.

Even walking down the street made people back away or gasp in fear and wonder, which made Krag grin. Nothing was like striking fear into the hearts of the weak. He didn't spend too much time taking pleasure from that fear, however, as he was already late to the senate meeting and the Emperor was not patient. Dranok might have been weak to allow the Emperorship to be handed to him, but he was Krag's only way to the top at the moment. Krag marched into the the senate building, finding Lussk being hassled by a Jedi female. Krag instantly picked her out as a jedi, her lightside presence was revolting to the beast.

Krag stepped forward as the Emperor showed that he was disarmed, placing a clawed and ashy hand on the back of Dranok's seat and tapping own saber to let it be known he was armed "Is this...lightsider slime causing you harm Emperor?" Krag snorted, using the formal title as to not undermine the Sith in front of such Jedi weaklings. Krag didn't look at Dranok, instead he just glared at the Jedi with his good eye and gave a hostile growl.

The monster going through the streets was obviously Sith. So much so that it just baffled Selena that the Sith were permitted to so flagrantly defy boarders. Even if he had been allowed to stay with the Emperor it would have been with the Emperor or escort. This one was just moving around freely. Unhindered. The fact that this darksider was now moving so quickly towards the Senate building and likely to the Emperor and Diana caused Selena to have to act.

So much of her had wanted to stay uninvolved. Distanced. As an exile her role was an awkward one in the galaxy. In many regards she was just another citizen. The weight of her long hilted lightsaber on her leg was heavy. Nothing would go well. Recently a large group of soldiers had been garrisoned at the Senate building. While her immediate desire was to run and lend aid to Diana, she knew it was the garrison that would be of the most use.

It was there that she ran. She burst into the room with a gust of wind behind her, white robes slowly settling as she paused in the main room with a bunch of eyes on her. "Jedi Master Selena Halcyon," a true fact, her being exiled was slightly irrelevant really, "A situation surrounding the Emperor may be about to go down right now. Follow me."

Authority of her to command them was irrelevant really at this point. The fact that their mission to protect the senate was presently enough reason for them to act. It was then that she finally began to move towards the situation that would no doubt be getting worse rapidly.

Yusan walked up behind @[member="Diana Moridena"], speaking softly. "Excuse me madam Jedi, as much as i..." He glanced at the Emporer and for half a moment didnt speak as he had not found the right words. "Think that the Emporer of the Sith should return home, he has a right to be here for now due to the treaty..." He looked back at the Jedi, hoping that she had heard him before looking back at the Emporer. "I apoligize for the actions that were acted upon by this Jedi and hope you were not harmed at all. There is no need for this to end in violence or a disagreement, i am Senator Yusan Fenn by the way." He stood there leaning on his cane with his own lightsaber in plain view, though that fact would be known that he carried one and had a force affinity. @[member="Krag"] @[member="Dranok Lussk"] @[member="Diana Moridena"]

Alena resisted the urge to laugh as the Sith Emperor finished his speech. It was beyond comprehension how in the world the man managed to simply stroll into the Republic's legislative building, without any permission. As far as she knew, no contract allowed the Emperor to just simply come into the Republic Senate.

It was funny though, she imagined that Senator @[member="Yusan Fenn"] was having a heart attack by now, if she remembered correctly, he had not responded well to Sith showing up in the Senate before.

Diana's anger flared for a few more seconds, and then finally seemed to calm. The expression on her face changed from anger, to stoic determination. She heard the words of Senator Yusan Fenn a man usually known for his level headedness and dislike of the Sith and simply frowned. No. There was no way Dranok was leaving this world in anything but chains. The Man was the Sith Emperor, that alone should have been reason enough to arrest him, though off the top of her head Diana could think of half a dozen other reasons.

“Charges?” She asked, an extreme calm forming over her voice. “That is quite simple Emperor.”

“Firstly you stand as leader of the Empire. A faction that not only condones acts of genocide, wanton murder, and war but actively encourages it. You yourself have taken part in countless battles, slaughtered hundreds of innocents, and killed dozens of Republic soldiers, and Jedi. These past criminal acts themselves would have you seen arrested on immediate entry to Republic space.” Diana spoke with confidence, knowing that all of these things were true. The Sith Empire conducted genocides regularly as far back as the times of Moridin with the most recent one being Togoria and the oldest being Junction. Along side that Diana knew for a fact that Dranok had taken part in several Invasions of worlds.

There was yet more to come however and the small girl seemed to scowl as she spoke.

“You Emperor were granted no immunity. Half of the members of the Senate didn't even know you were going to be here.” Diana knew that was a fact from the look on some of their faces. “There is no chancellor, no acting vice chancellor to give you that magic card that lets you waltz in here without punishment.”

“And lastly, the treaty has already been rendered null and void by your Sith.” The last one wouldn't really come as a shock to the Senate members here, after all it was the Sith who had rendered this building...useless. “Not days ago two Sith Lords who supported your rise to power attack the Senate, while it was in session. If that is not an act of war, I do not know what is.”

Diana finished speaking just as another Jedi Knight appeared with a pack of droids. Diana simply stared at the older man, confidence in her silvery shinning eyes.

Flint Dexen

Wandering Lost Soul
There was an emergency in the Senate, or at least that was what the Coruscant police department told Flint. Some senator had apprently notified them the moment that the Sith Emperor had shown his face in the Senate of the Galactic Republic. This was going to be one big fething deal, everybody knew that.

Flint thankfully wasn't too late when he arrived at the Senate and had located which room the Imperial Emperor was in. The scene he found infront of him was rather confusing. Two ex-Jedi (@[member="Selena Halcyon"] @Diana Moridena) seemed to have blocked off the Emperor's exit, there were Imperial troopers as well as the Sith Emperor (@[member="Dranok Lussk"]) and another Sith Lord (@Krag) standing there, and a random senator (@[member="Yusan Fenn"]) who seemed to have magically teleported to the spot.

Flint had brought half a dozen police droids with him, and they surrounded everyone. "Sith Emperor, please put your hands up in the air." said one of the droids.

The Republic was failing again... Equa saw it as he looked at Coruscant. Sith had done so many bad things there, that it was almost clear, that the Republic will fall soon. As he walked around the city, he reached the Senate building. Unfortunately, it was awful. Just of curiosity, he entered the building to see, if it is as ruined as it was from the outside. Well, it was really bad... Equa had supported the Republic for so long and now... it was just so sad to see it being destroyed by the Sith.

He walked towards the Senate Hall. Probably there was another session going on there, so he decided not to enter it. But as he understood something is going on there, he entered the room and then he saw everything. The Sith Emperor was in the room. He was in the Senate...

Quickly, Equa took her lightsaber out and walked to the few Jedi who were near the Emperor.

Marcus, having entered like a normal person, leapt down onto the floor beside his Emperor, @[member="Dranok Lussk"] and fellow Sith, @[member="Krag"]. He didn't have to point out that he was armed, trophy sabers, from past kills hung around his waist, ready for use by his Emperor should it be required, but hopefully they wouldn't be stupid.

"Stand back, now." He ordered in a raspy, mechanized voice, exhaling forcefully as yellowed eyes looked at the police forces with utter indifference. They wouldn't take them, and they couldn't, not even if they tried. The loyal assassin stood silent, awaiting someone do do something stupid.

More security guards flooded the building, a full two platoons. These pointed their blasters at Jedi and Sith alike.

An officer stepped forward, Captain Belssk, 7th division. A towering Togorian. He didn't look very friendly.

"Jedi, stand down. You have no authority here. The Sith are in accordance with the treaty of the Chalacta Conference. Leave now or we will be forced to take you into custody."

Belssk glanced toward Dranok. "Of course, if they do open fire, the Republic will deny all accountability. They are Jedi, after all."

Krag snorted, taking a step between @[member="Diana Moridena"] and the Emperor. Ash slowly starting to rise off his body as he looked down at Diana first and growled "The Emperor was invited here, weakling. Now, his lordship wishes to leave and I am ill patient to keep him waiting over senseless and idiotic claims." Krag then looked to the Jedi with the droids and boomed out with his voice of thunder "We will be leaving! There was no blood today and we will not spill it!" With a cynical grin he turned back to Diana and muttered so that she was the only one to hear him

"Not yet and not here...but one day" with the Krag stepped back and looked to Marcus "Let us take the Emperor out of this place of weaklings."

Yusan sighed and spoke up, directly at Diana and Flint. "Both of you do not have the right nor power to order this arrest and asked to depart now. I will not let another battle break out in the Senate." He stepped infront of Diana and stared at the two jedi before looking at the Police. "Leave now on my order as Senators Yusan Fenn." He waited for them to do so, leaning on the cane he had had made for himself. @[member="Diana Moridena"] @[member="Marcus Faust"] @[member="Flint Dexen"] @[member="Dranok Lussk"] @[member="Krag"]

Lightning emanated from his eyes. Thunder seemingly struck throughout the halls of the Senate chambers.

A very small being stepped forward, behind Marcus Faust.

He then turned to them all, standing beside Marcus, tingles of blue electricity flickering behind his pupils.

"Emperor, you may depart. Please do so. Jedi Knight Diana Moridena, I'd like to speak to you privately, please."

A shutter...a shutter as cold and frightening as Krag had ever experienced before. As a Graug he was naturally repelled and disgusted by the lightside, but his training had allowed him to not fear it as a more primitive member of his race would. This presence, however, was like nothing he had ever experienced before. The giant beast looked at the small creature, his good eye wide as he felt his very soul try to rip out of his skin and flee. So strong and disgusting was the scent that he wanted to hurl on the floor.

ho-how could such a weak creature be so strong? He is puny...small...weak! Krag thought to himself as he looked on in awe.
