  • Demonym: Vencuyotn
  • Region: Tingel Arm
  • System Name: T'ad Ge'talkote System (Twin Red-Glory system)
  • System Features: A Binary star system where two red-dwarf stars rotate in a stable orbit around one another in the center of the system. Orbiting both stars in semi-irregular orbits are eight planets.
    • Dhayc: A now in-active volcanic world covered in fields of black obsidian
    • Dar'buir: A large barren and atmosphereless world.
    • Adiik: A very small planetoid barely qualifying as a planet. Believed to have once been Dar'buir's moon.
    • Dral'vencuyot: The primary inhabited world lush with life
    • Saviin'aran: A large purple gas giant rich with tibanna gas
    • Genet: A dull gray rock with signs of once hosting life in the distant past. A massive impact crater in the southern hemisphere hints to the life's fate.
    • Cinla'kal: A small planet covered in thick sheets of white ice which have been carved into tall sharp spires by ferocious and ever present winds.
    • Ures'tracyn: A massive ice ball with twice-standard gravity and fields of compacted flat snow and ice. Most of the world seems flat except for the many impact craters across its surface.
  • Location: Here
  • Major Imports: None
  • Major Exports: Carbonite, Phrik, Common Metals, Manufactured Goods
  • Unexploited Resources: N/A
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
  • Gravity: Standard
  • Climate: Temperate, bit warmer than standard
  • Primary Terrain: Warm continent-spanning Steppes, Jungles, Forests, Plains, Mountains
  • Atmosphere: Type 1
LOCATION INFORMATION
  • Capital City: Sol'yciya (First City)
  • Planetary Features: Dral'vencuyot is a rather 'standard' planet and lacks any truely unique or defining features. Really the only thing that stands out to newcomers is how the dominant class of animals on Dral'vencuyot appear to be birds.
  • Major Locations:
Sol'yciya
nano-giga-interactive-giby-joseph-final-gibyjoseph-02.jpg

Sol'yciya, the capital city of the planet, rests on the plains where the first colony ships landed on Dral'vencuyot. The Hall of Vode'alor the First, the main government building, is situated on the exact coordinance of the first ship's landing. The city is built in the style of an arcology: completely self sufficient and not harming the environment around it; thus the city embodies the ideals of the Vencuyotns. The city hosts several hundred million inhabitants who are mostly involved in the government or business sectors of the planet, acting as the beating heart which runs the entire planet's economy.

The city is protected not only by a glasteel and phrik dome but also a shield generator capable of sustaining fire from capital ships in orbit. Should the shield and dome be breached there are several underground bunker complexes capable of housing the whole city's population in an emergency. These bunkers are complete with hydroponic farms, automated defense systems, and complex life support systems allowing the city's population to live down there for years.

New Harbor

Half Resort City half Diplomatic Embassy, New Harbor is the largest of the 'trade cities' where offworlders are permitted on Dral'vencuyot. It is here that the Vencuyotn embassy entertains foreign dignitaries and local Vencuyotn corporations meet with their offworld counterparts to make deals in a pleasant relaxed environment. Citizens from across Dral'vencuyot travel to New Harbor to sample exotic interstellar cuisine, calm beaches, the stadium which hosts a myriad of sports, and a teaming coral reef filled with wildlife that encircles the city.

While these tourists leave unaccosted, any offworlder who attempts to leave the city except by approved flight plans is met with the full force of Vencuyotn law. First time criminals are often exiled, and should they make the mistake of returning second time offenders are more often than not put to death.

POPULATION

  • Native Species:
    • Intelligent Species: None
    • Fauna: Mythogalaar, Ori Gett'shukur, other bird-like species, less common amphibian species
    • Flora: Grasses, trees, grains, fruits, other non-remarkable flora.
  • Immigrated Species:
  • Population: Moderate: 11 Billion
  • Demographics: Dral'vencuyot is actually a rather diverse planet. Humans are still the majority of the population but they make up for only around 30% of the total population. The rest are large populations of other alien species.
  • Primary Languages: Mando'a
  • Culture: Vencuyotn society is a self described 'evolved' Mandalorian culture which has 'outgrown' the Mandalorian need to conquer and dominate. While still holding the Resol'nare sacred Vencuyotns believe violence to be a crude tool only used in last resort, rather Vencuyotns seek to live in harmony with their interstellar neighbors and their environment rather than bend them to their will. Furthermore the Vencuyotn's have mostly abandoned the traditional Mandalorian clan form of society and instead view themselves as a unified people and culture.

One thing that divides Vencuyotn Mandalorians from the wider Mandalorian community is that Vencuyotns lack easy access to Beskar and thus have turned to using locally sourced Phrik to make their weapons and armor. This lighter armor is typically adorned with floral motifs, a staple in Vencuyotn Mandalorian culture. The Vencuyotn Mandalorians have grown proud of their home grown armor and have mostly abandoned Beskar with a majority of all Beskar brought from Mandalore by the original colonists having been taken and reforged into the statue of Vode'alor the First which sits atop the Hall of the Vode'alor.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY

(The Flag of Dral'vencuyot's government depicting the Vormur flower, the national symbol of the planet)

  • Government: Federal Republic. The planet is divided into fourty administrative districts known as Ori'tsads which each elect an Alor to serve as their representative in the Planetary Senate. Furthermore, at the head of the government, is the Vode'alor who is the chief of the executive branch of government and is directly elected by popular vote every ten years. each Vode'alor takes the name Vode'alor as their new name but are usually distinguished by a title given to them by their voters.
  • Affiliation: None
  • Wealth: High: Dral'vencuyot is an autarky and thus requires no outside aid or trade to function. This fact combined with a heavy export industry has seen wealth flow into Dral'vencuyot and stay there.
  • Stability: High: To uphold Mandalorian values is expected of each citizen of Dral'vencuyot. This unifying culture and set of ideals causes the world to be incredibly stable as social turmoil is unlikely. Furthermore crime is difficult when many citizens are trained in self defense.
  • Freedom & Oppression: Freedom for citizens of Dral'vencuyot is a guarenteed right and the government seeks to uphold their liberties. Non-citizens however are forbidden from traveling freely on the planet and are restricted to a few small 'trade cities' which are heavily monitored to prevent slip aways or crime from outsiders.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: Dral'vencuyot's government maintains a standard military police that serve dual purposes on the world. Several million strong this military police force are all trained Mandalorian commandos who can give potential invaders a run for their money.
  • Technology: Galactic Standard
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Dral'vencuyot's first wave of colonization came pre-gulag plague as several New Mandalorian clans, wanting a better future for their descendants, banded together and left Mandalorian space to settle a new world bound by New Mandalorian ideals. Using planetary data bought from interstellar explorers these Mandalorians chose Dral'vencuyot due to signifiers of Phrik in its planetary crust, as even this early in Dral'vencuyot's development the Mandalorians planned to replace Beskar with a locally sourced but similarly strong metal.

When the Gulag Plague first began its scourge of the galaxy many like-minded Mandalorian clans fled to the now mostly-developed Dral'vencuyot to get away from the oncoming plague. As the Gulag Plague got close Dral'vencuyot officially sealed itself off from the outside world with a massive planetary shield, and like this it remained for several hundred years. It is during these years of isolation that the Vencuyotn identity really solidified, especially under the rule of Vode'alor the First who was the first elected 'Mand'alor' of the planet though he rejected the title and forged a new one which has been the pride of Dral'vencuyot ever since. He was an influential philosopher and politician who helped shaped the Vencuyotn constitution and government into its modern form while also setting the stage for the dissolution of the Mandalorian clan system.

It was only on the first day of 835ABY, roughly one hundred years after the Gulag Plague went silent, that Dral'vencuyot opened up to the interstellar community. In the years since that day Dral'vencuyot has gotten rich off of Phrik and Carbonite exports, and continues to grow and develop into an influential planet in the Tingle Arm.
