Do I know you?

There was something about Tatooine that Mira hated.

Maybe it was the dry heat...

Maybe it was the smell...

Maybe it was the sand...

She couldn't quite place what exactly what it was, but it was like driving a plasma torch through her nerves. Something in the back of her mind, a distant memory that stirred up these emotions within her. Mira sighed, taking a moment to gaze from the work being done to her ship to those offloading cargo. At the rate they were moving, she would be charged an extra day for docking - something she hadn't counted for in the fees and assessment when she first agreed to the job. Nothing was what it once was, or atleast to any extent that she could remember. Ever since she had taken up a different name and started wearing the talisman that seemed to conceal her powers, she began to forget things. Memories of loved ones, of times long since passed, of what it was like to be a Jedi.

She was no longer Mira Rekali.

She had taken the name Blue, Aelyn Blue.

With a little help, she started Skyway Transport Services which held out to be a small and modest operation. Over time, she became consumed in her duties and her business that she forgot about the conflict within the Galaxy - something she desired greatly, an escape from it all. The conflict had cost Mira everything and the debt was something she felt she could no longer be burdened with - Jedi or not....

"Hey, Lady Blue?" A voice chimed into her passing day dream, causing her to suddenly jolt and come back to reality. Mira shifted slightly as she looked to the greased up mechanic beside her, giving him a slight nod.

"What is it?" She said softly.

He looked down at the datapad, grimacing before gazing back up to her. "Yeah, these repairs are going to cost about double what we estimated before..." He turned and gestured to the YT series freighter. "These ships, they are ancient and the parts aren't easy to come by....."

Mira sighed. "I understand, do what you can. I'm going to head into town and get a drink. I assume you won't be done until sometime tomorrow then?"

The mechanic looked down at the pad and tapped it a few times. "Well, maybe tomorrow evening." He shrugged slightly.

"I'll give you two-hundred extra credits if you speed things up and have it ready to go before noon..." She smirked and gestured with a hand towards her ship.

The mechanic gave her an unimpressed look and shook his head. "Yeah, that ain't happening Blue. Two-hundred is way below the bribery threshold. I'll keep in touch."

Mira frowned at his response. "Well, it was worth a shot either way..." She shrugged lightly and exited the docking bay. She needed a drink, a stiff drink at that - maybe two. This day just seemed to get worse and worse by the second, what else could go wrong?

Tatooine was a place that came up on her radar for possible sightings for the woman that she had not seen for some time now. A part of Fiore wondered if this was her way of ending the relationship or whatever they shared. A hand rested on the hilt of the saber she had been given by the Jedi woman. The touch of the cool hilt brought memories flooding back into her mind as she looked at the holopad in her other hand. Sources stated seeing a woman that had the same features as Mira, but each claim was vague and there was no visual evidence. Fiore tucked the holopad into the pocket of her pants and she searched the trade hub. There were so many people there and they could all be people who have seen Mira.

The former Jedi worked her way through the crowd, asking questions and trying to find anyone who could have seen the woman she searched for. Each merchant or trade guru waved their hands and ignored the questioning of the desperate woman. Fiore cursed under her breath, she wished at times she wasn’t cut from the Force. If she was able to just use an inkling of it and attempt to convince some of the patrons of the hub to give her anything – she would be a lot closer to finding Mira.

Fiore had been on Tatooine a few times, each time though had provided nothing for her sanity and only made her question what she had with Mira. Was she thinking this was more than what it was? The blades woman found herself swimming in her thoughts, she continued to question and go over every experience with Mira. Maybe she had thought too much of it, maybe Mira was just trying to avoid assassination, or maybe that was Mira’s goal. Maybe she was sent by the Jedi to stop Fiore from murdering any other Jedi. Dragging feet stopped and the small sand storm dissipated, Fiore looked up at the twin suns and sighed softly. It was hot and she was overheating. A refreshing beverage was something she could use right now.

She remembered the small cantina near the docking bay, turning on her heels she made a beeline for it. Maybe, while she drank something – she could find some more information on any one that resembled or knew anything about [member="Mira Rekali"].

"Well isn't this nice?" Mira mused to herself as she waltzed into the cantina, hands on her hips. Of course, she was being about as sarcastic as she could possibly be. The place was a dump, that was of course if the dump had been set on fire and ransacked by Jawas shortly after. She sighed heavily and pressed forward, scrunching her nose up as the damp, B.O filled air hit her nostrils. It was the best she could do from puking as she passed through the patrons towards a booth somewhere against the wall - somewhere far away from the main hub. Mira had been in some crappy places before, but this one, this one took the cake from them all. She sat down slowly in the booth, checking the seat as she did. One could never be too cautious about these booths, especially in a place like this. No sooner did she sit down did a service droid approach and inquire what she would like to drink - in the most formal way possible. "Corellian Ale, extra sour." She gestured with a gloved hand towards the droid. "Make it a double, please."

The droid said something unintelligible before returning to the bar station.

Mira stared at the droid briefly before she went back to people watching, something she did from time to time. Usually it brought up dreams or memories that she had forced herself to lock away - things she occasionally took pleasure in remembering. There was the occasional painful memory that caused Mira to get distressed and the fear she tried to hide from would sneak up on her and create a situation. However, with the talisman she had acquired, those situations were less and less frequent as they used to be.

The cantina seemed fuller than usual. Prospects were inside and there had to be more than the usual crowd. Fiore feeling hope again entered the building. A few of the locals recognized the young woman and quickly made small talk with her. There were questions about her work and her quest to find Mira Rekali. Upon hearing that her search for the woman she loved was a huge dead end, the little jawa who stood on the seating so that he was tall enough, patted Fiore on her shoulder. “Thank you. I’m assuming none of you had heard any news from any of the traders?”

Heads shook and Fiore’s smile quickly faded. Defeated once more, she slumped herself into one of the chairs and sat at the empty table. The place was a bit busy and the droid did take forever to get to her. By that time Fiore had pushed aside any frustrations and she smiled at the droid. “Hey, um the usual? That funky Corellian whiskey – yeah the one that isn’t made by Corellians but is calle—yeah” The droid got the order. Fiore could pay for the good stuff, but for some reason – especially when she went searching for Mira; she reverted to that fake Corellian whiskey…memories right?

A place like this, Fiore made sure the lightsabers she wore were concealed. The last thing she needed was to deal with someone from her past. She was still marked as a high-level Assassin; the Templars weren’t as violent as they used to be. Most assumed they were gone, but Fiore and a few others were underground. The young woman only stayed with them for resources, she had access to a network that had eyes and ears everywhere. This meant that she could find Mira faster. At times, she had to kill off one of her fellow Templars, especially when they had gotten too close to announcing what she was using the resources for. Several contacts found lightsabers through their chests as they attempted to report back to the handlers about the ‘Jedi Fiore was hunting’.

Sighing softly, Fiore found herself just gazing around the bar. Everyone seemed to be the typical crowd, until she laid eyes upon another woman. Instantly Fiore felt a familiarity, but soon shook it off and forced her gaze away moments after seeing her. Every woman that looked close to Mira made Fiore’s heart stop and every time she was met with disappointment. If there were anymore tears left, Fiore would have cried. Knowing that Mira was out there somewhere – drove her to insanity. She left you. She didn’t care. Jedi lie. All you have is yourself. You were just a tool. She only said she loved you to escape her fate. Foolish. Idiot. Coward.

Fiore’s eyes shut tightly, she had been having episodes recently. Digging around the jacket she wore, she found the small syringe and quickly shoved it into her arm. The drug took instant effect and she sighed softly as the voices faded. Silence filled her mind as she looked up towards the ceiling of the cantina. It felt like forever since she had seen or even touched Mira, yet her love for her only grew. Was she chasing a ghost? Was this her punishment for the path she put herself on? Was this punishment for becoming attached? Questions echoed in Fiore’s mind as she waited for her drink. [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira perked up at the noise of a BB unit making racket behind her before she turned to face the onslaught of annoying auditory sensations that were being emitted from her droid. She shook her head and gestured to her side as if she were summoning a pet. "Pix, you know better than that - why are you making so much racket?" The droid veered, tilted and whirled around in a circle as he let off a series of tweets and whistles in a fluster. It took everything Mira had to keep up with him as he went on and on about the guys unloading the cargo, fixing the ship and nearly crushing him in the process. She let off a disgruntled sigh and shifted back in her seat as the service droid set her murky drink down before her. Mira eyed the liquid as it moved back and forth within the foggy enclosure. The pale green liquid didn't appear to be something that was made for humanoid consumption, Mira went to make an objection but the notion passed shortly after. With the incident that occurred on Corellia during the Netherworld crisis - it was possible that alot of the original distributors of Corellian ale were no longer around.

Thus the knock off...

Mira let off another sigh, one of more disappointment than anything else as she slipped her fingers around the glass and raised it up to the relatively dim lighting. "Bottoms up..." She muttered softly, before chugging the liquid down. The bitter sweet mixture wasn't something she had expected, it was no doubt a knock off. Mira let off a small convulsion and grimaced, slamming down the glass with a harsh thud. Her free hand rose up from her leg and slapped the table as the alcohol itself rode the wave of bitterness down her throat. It was like swallowing a cough drop saturated in salted honey - not quite what she had expected nor planned. Her crimson eyes were welling up with tears, her attention called to recovering from the drink and not to the fact that Pixel had spotted a being that looked familiar. Pixel took it upon himself to weave and move through the cantina towards the table in which [member="Fiore de Noir"] sat. As soon as he reached the side of the brunette beauty, he let out a loud warble of excitement - hoping she would recognize him as much as she did him.

*thunk*

The sound echoed on the table and Fiore opened her eyes and stared at the bot that had literally dropped the glass in front of her. Mumbling under her breath she shook he head and looked at the amber liquid. She watched it move over the melting ice, memories flashed quickly as she remembered the room they had been in. Mira had just lost her mother and needed something to keep her mind off it. Fiore remembered the plea to just get a room somewhere in the hub to just be together. The empty bottle of Corellan whiskey was on the table that she had dropped breakfast on.

The memory continued to play as she remembered her attempt to do something different in their physical moments. Fiore closed her eyes again trying to push the fearful look Mira had on her face from her mind. The medication she took suppressed the voices in her mind, but they didn’t stop the memories from taking over. Whiskey filled her nose as she brought the glass to her lips, it wasn’t the good stuff – that stuff was gone. Still, the honey scent burned her mind and instantly reminded her of the usual lavender scent the woman always left behind her. A tilt of the glass and a parting of parched lips, the whiskey entered and burned her to the core. The burning shocked her out of her memories and she returned to the cantina.

“This stuff is terrible…” She looked at the glass and sighed softly. Fiore continued to drink it because Mira seemed to like it. The whiskey seemed to be the only thing that kept her somewhat together and connected. Her hand played with the slight condensation that began to gather on the bottom of the bucket glass. She stared at the floating ice and wondered where she was going to go next with the little information she had. It was then that something loud and familiar made itself known. Looking over the edge of the table, Fiore laid eyes on a droid she thought she’d never see again. “Pixel?” Her eyes fluttered in disbelief and as she gathered herself she knew that her search may have possibly ended. The droid that warbled at her in excitement belonged to the one person she had been looking for. “Is…Is Mira here? Where is she?” Fiore stood from her seat and searched the faces of the cantina, there were so many and she couldn’t get a good look at some of them. There was a range of emotions now flying through the former Jedi. Fear, that Mira wouldn’t want to see her, Frustration for being left behind on Ruusan, and overwhelming Joy that possibly the one person she had hoped to see again was just moments away.

“Pixel please tell me she’s here!” Fiore pleaded with the droid while trying to remain collected as possible. [member="Mira Rekali"]

There was a momentary pause between realization of what was happening and recovering from the nasty taste of the alcoholic beverage. In that moment, Mira thought back to the events that led her here - but reality wouldn't let her slip too far. The squealing warble and abrupt noises coming from her droid caught her attention once more and her skipped a beat. Her face felt flush as if she were caught red handed, and she felt the very pressure of her blood increase as panic overcame her. The familiar voice of Fiore filled her ears, the dozen questions that impaled her droid, one after another. She knew that she would have to face those very same questions - if not worse. What could she do? Run? No, that would look only worse and she knew that Fiore would only pursue her until she pinned her down. Fighting her ex-girlfriend wasn't an option, it would stalemate as Mira was superior in some ways but Fiore wouldn't fight her. She simply couldn't. That would be of course, if nothing had changed between them - and Mira was pretty confident that nothing had.

There were times that Mira wished the gaps in her memories encompassed her times with Fiore, but she knew the memories were too strong. They were complicated. She had wondered what it would be like if she moved on and met someone else, would Fiore be jealous? Would she go on a rampage and try to hurt that person? In all the time that Mira questioned, doubted and questioned again, she forgot about the reality before her - allowing Pixel to lead Fiore to his Master who sat staring off into space in her own little frame of mind.

Things were about to get really interesting...

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Pixel moved towards the girl at the bar. Fiore felt everything in her chest, but her face remained calm. A part of her wanted to fight, but another part of her wanted to just go back to how everything was, she wanted to feel that weightless feeling she had felt with Mira. It felt like ages since she had seen the woman, she had written to her in hopes that it would have her return. Yet nothing, it was silent on Mira’s end, but now she was here. Hopefully there were answers and hopefully they weren’t the answers that Fiore had feared and dreaded.

It didn’t take long for the pair to reach Mira. Fiore glanced taking in the girl’s face, if this was to be the last time she saw her in person – she would do her best to refresh the memory she held so dear. Would she end up losing the only thing that kept her grounded in this universe? It was her biggest fear and part of her knew that when they did finally come face to face – that loss would be the outcome. Fiore stood beside Mira letting the girl remain in the stare she was in. She wondered what Mira was thinking and had assumed that she would have run off by now.

Did Fiore accept the fact that Mira maybe never wanted to see her? How was that possible? The things that she had told her, the way she felt love or what she thought was love come from the Jedi. Inhaling deeply Fiore held her breath just for a second and slowly exhaled before she spoke. “Mira?” A pause hoping to have broken the train of thought that Mira had lost herself to, “I’ve looked everywhere for you…what happened?” Instantly Fiore feared the worse, it had to be have been her doing to have pushed Mira away, but what? Fiore kept her composure as she waited for her former lover to respond. [member="Mira Rekali"]

"Mira?" As her own name hit her eardrums, her eyes closed and a sigh escaped her lips. She had dreaded hearing that voice for some time, perhaps she had hoped the Galaxy was large enough that she could escape and blend in enough to just fade away. That apparently wasn't going to happen - not now, not ever. She shook her head, trying to deny what was happening. "You couldn't possibly begin to understand." Red hued orbs opened to look infront of her before they gave a side glance up at Fiore and then down to the empty glass before her. "I'll also have to make a mental note to wipe my droid's memory of certain people - save me the trouble in the future." She muttered softly as she gestured towards the bar droid who happened to be close by.

It took her a moment, but she managed to get the courage to look at Fiore in the face. She could see the hurt lingering in her doe brown eyes, a hurt that she hadn't seen in a long time - one she was familiar with herself. "I had to escape, ok?" Mira gestured to the chair across from her as the droid from the bar approached. "Another round, please?" She spoke softly before turning back to Fiore. "My life had become complicated, especially after the death of my mother." It was hard for Mira to open up to anyone about these things, especially Fiore. She knew that the life which Fiore had lived was far worse than the comfortable one that she was used to. Mira's life hadn't gotten truly complicated until the later years, until the Netherworld crisis. Had it not been for the likes of [member="Spencer Varanin"], Mira would have been lost in the chaos, much like her youngest brother. She watched every action of Firoe - ever hesitant that this was sort of gimmick or trick.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Hearing the comment about making a note to wipe certain people from Pixel’s mind stung a little, but the woman had said worse to the Assassin. Fiore did her best to keep that hurt from registering on her face. She listened, it was what she was good at when they were together, Mira spoke and Fiore listened. Keeping her eyes on Mira, Fiore took in everything that was being said and attempted to make any sense of it. The girl needed to escape, but to do so with such a cryptic message and then abandoning her on Ruusan was a bit drastic. It made no sense to Fiore, but things like this, these notions made no sense to Fiore. She needed to try though, because if she didn’t then this could possibly be the last time Mira was ever in her life.

The death of Mira’s mother was something that Fiore understood for the most part. She had seen the reaction and how hurt Mira was. Fiore wondered about her own mother from time to time, but the pain Mira felt was foreign to Fiore. Still this didn’t stop her from wanting to comfort the other woman, but she did stop herself from reaching out and doing what she wanted to do.

“You wanted to escape, I understand that…but I sent you messages, I didn’t fully understand what you said to me before you left.” Fiore took a breath and shook her head. “You just disappeared and now you’re back? Why didn’t you say anything? Why didn’t you at least let me know…that you were okay?” Her hands clenched the leather glove like flaps on her hands and she looked away slightly from Mira, then back towards her. “I don’t understand much about anything really, but if you just give me a chance…”

Her lips pressed together tightly as she wanted to keep what she was going to say next to herself, but with seeing Mira after all this time and the flurry of emotions circling inside of her she couldn’t help it. Uncontrolled, she blurted out, “You wanted me to promise you I wouldn’t hurt you, but you hurt me.” Horror at what she had just said showed on her face, she had wanted to tell Mira that for so long, but not like this. A hand covered Fiore’s mouth as she waited for the response. Fear washed over, as she figured that this was the moment she was going to watch Mira walk out of her life for good. [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira paused as Fiore went into a slight lover's tirade about her feelings and understanding of what Mira was going through - partial understanding as it were. As Fiore finished, Mira stared blankly ahead, soaking in everything the woman she gave nearly everything to was done.She blinked a few times as the drinks were set down at the table before her, taking the closest in her hand before sipping at it. "You know, you're right." She slowly stood and gestured with the glass in her hand towards Fiore. "I'm sorry that I hurt you..."

Her next move was chalked up to liquid courage...

Mira's eyes narrowed as she looked to Fiore and tossed the green substance at the face of her former girlfriend. A quick shove would follow suit and a whole lot of yelling. "You tell me that I hurt you!?"

"What about running off to that cold hearted keeper of yours for months on in?" Mira attempted to shove Fiore again, pushing past patrons that suddenly got interested in the lovers quarrel brewing.
Her eyes were burning bright as she continued her own tirade. "You try living a day filled with fear of losing it all, a day in my life! You try it!" Mira shoved aside a droid attempting to break the two of them apart as she continued to advance on Fiore.

"I took upon a name of another, changed everything I was - lost apart of myself and learned to forget!" She slapped her hand against her chest, against the cold metal of the talisman that rested against her flesh. "I forgot what it was like to feel the comfort and flow of the Force - you've been like that your whole life!"

Mira's voice continued to grow. "I gave you something sacred, I gave you a piece of me and I loved you! Don't you dare lecture me about hurting you or understanding!" Her right hand came down and lifted free a table, flipping it to the side. Drinks and credit chits would fly, the crowd surrounding the two of them would continue to grow larger - and for the moment, non-hostile.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Fiore took a moment as she heard Mira apologize, it instantly made her stand on edge. This meant two things, that she actually meant it or she was setting something up. Which obviously was the latter because of the comments that came next. Alcohol now splashed into her face and the substance burned her eyes, Fiore blinked quickly trying to adjust her vision. The venom slapped her in her face after the alcohol. Mira insulted Amelia and Fiore frowned. Amelia had done nothing to Mira, minus attempting to seduce Fiore.

“I was working! I didn’t just run off to just leave you!” Fiore took the shove and then the second shove. Stumbling backwards, Fiore found her footing and prepared for another shove from the former Jedi. “I have lived my life filled with losing all of it. You realize when you came into my life you became everything! I live my life in consistent fear of losing you, I lived it!” Fiore wanted to shove Mira back, she wanted to fight with her and take out all the frustration that she had bottled up for some time now.

Taking a step forward, Fiore closed some distance between them and prepared to take another hit. “I gave you everything that I was. I loved you, I still love you! Why can’t you see that? I said I wouldn’t leave you and I haven’t – I’ve always been here, I’ve searched for you, my whole pathetic life has been absorbed by you!”

“Also, if I remember right. YOU’RE. THE. ONE. WHO. KISSED. ME!” [member="Mira Rekali"]

“Oh please, spare me.” Mira grunted softly as she brushed passed Fiore and into the crowd which had gathered. She knew the girl would follow suit and expected her droid to do the same. For Mira, there was more on the line than the love the two of them shared - there was everything she was and everything that she was to become. “You know, you almost had me fooled Fiore…” Mira spoke up as she exited the cantina which seemed to still be in stunned silence from the outburst between the two of them.

Mira paused to abruptly turn around and look at the other woman.

“You claim love and admiration, yet why didn’t you offer to go with me?” Mira said pointedly, gesturing with an open hand.

She’d close her eyes, head shaking as she turned back away from her. “Maybe that was asking too much.” A sigh escaped her lips as she continued to press onwards. “Each and every time we see each other, we fight. There hasn’t been a single time where we aren’t fighting.”

Mira knew that the reason they fought was her own. Her fear controlled her, and she knew she wasn’t ready for the responsibilities that lay in wait for her. She wasn’t ready to face the Galaxy again - but the time was coming where she wouldn’t be able to hide from the burden of power anymore.

“The relationship we have has become toxic and intolerable emotionally for the both of us - you and I have grown apart Fiore.” She stopped once more, abruptly turning to face her former girlfriend, her best friend and closest confidant. “If things are ever going to work out - we have to start over.” Mira flashed a snarl at Fiore. “Otherwise, we’re over.”

She had to be tough on Fiore, and herself.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Mira moved past her and Fiore quickly followed. This conversation wasn't over, not by a long shot as far as Fiore was convinced. The crowd remained inside while the pair exited. There were a few though that followed and Fiore paid them no mind. Why was Mira like this? Maybe Fiore was right in thinking this was all just a moment for Mira and where Fiore held on, Mira was ready to forget.

It hurt all of her words hurt. Fiore questioned herself wondering why she kept looking. Still, everything about Mira made Fiore believe in something more - even now. Then came the comment about following. Fiore stopped a couple of feet behind Mira.

“You didn't give me a chance. I would have given everything up for you. You are more important to me than anything else. I don't understand how I can make you see that?” She thought back to all of their encounters, they met by violent means and even when they finally gave each other a piece of themselves - Mira attempted to get her eaten by the monstrosities in the jungle.

“I don't want to fight anymore, but I'll fight for you. Because that's all I know right now. I fight myself, I fight others because in the end the only one I know that matters in my life is YOU!” Fiore brought her fists to her face to quickly brush aside the tears that were forming. She couldn't let Mira see her cry or be upset.

“I have looked everywhere for you. I'll do whatever you want. Mira you own my very soul, a soul I didn't even know I had. You want to start over - I want to do that. I want to go with you.”

Fiore closed the gap between them and looked at Mira, with every ounce of her confused and mixed feelings. “I want to be with you, I don't care about my revenge, I don't care about my job, all I care about is you. I still love you more than you can ever imagine.” [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira sighed heavily as she listened to Fiore, watching her every move and reaction. She had upset her, rightfully so. Mira took no pleasure in saying those harsh things, nor did she take pleasure in having to up and leave.But she had to do it, she felt compelled. Even now, she felt compelled to leave - but not as much as before.

Something had been calling her through the Force. Something told her to run away, but she didn't listen to it fully. She knew that now, and now the message was gone - drowned out in her fear and anxiety. Now she was left in a darkness that was starting to consume the fabric of her life. Mira shook her head softly as she held up a hand towards Fiore. "I just want you to be you." She closed her eyes, inhaling sharply. "Just keep doing what you have to do and just let it be for now. I know I hurt you and I was wrong for that."

Mira's eyes opened as she looked upon her. "I'm sorry, truly."

Her hand dropped down to her side as she nodded in the direction of the hangar. "Come on, let's go get you cleaned up and get some rest. We can talk more about this later. For now, let's just take it easy." She smiled slightly, trying to ease the tension between the two of them.

Mira knew the girl was confused, hell, she was confused herself.

She didn't know what was happening or why. Maybe in her mind she felt like she was protecting Fiore by not involving her. Maybe she felt this was better this way, who knew - she didn't, that was for sure.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Blinking, the stern and slightly pained look that had taken over Fiore’s face suddenly disappeared. The girl in front of her was slowly becoming the Mira that she remembered. Eyes continued to blink furiously as she tried to register everything that was going on and in a sense, calm her own racing heart. If there were any subtle hints of something more happening beyond this cleaning up – Fiore as usual missed it, but there was a faint hope that maybe this would be the do over she was going to be getting.

Dust was starting to pick up, which mean that a possible sand storm was in the distance. The last thing anyone wanted was to be out in the middle of the market in any sort of sand storm. People were starting to clean up and Fiore really had no place to stay. Just like when they first met, Fiore traveled publicly. Nodding, she agreed to Mira’s offer and soon followed the girl to the hanger. There was a little pep in the Assassin’s step as she followed close to Mira, she started out a step or two behind, only to admire a sight she hadn’t seen in some time. When she felt she was staring for far too long, she matched stride and walked beside Mira.

“You’re really not going to wipe Pixel’s memory of me right? I like him the way he is. Though, does he still have that multi tool arm that shocks you” Fiore looked at her side towards Mira as they headed towards the woman’s ship. Casually, Fiore brushed her brunette hair back behind her slightly pointed ears. As time had gone by, she stopped hiding the minor evidence of her heritage. It was easier to walk around claiming human, most people accepted you easier that way. Pondering, she felt a creeping blush scatter across her cheeks.

“Will you be cleaning up as well?” [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira shook her head. "No, I have no intention of wiping Pixel's memory - of anything." She fired off bluntly as they moved into the ship. Mira sighed and unbuckled her satchel from her shoulder and tossed it into the chair next to her other personal belongings before flopping down into the empty space on the sofa. With a gesture and a roll of her eyes. "Don't lecture me about the mess. I haven't bothered to tidy up in quite some time - you know where the refresher is."

Mira reached behind her and flipped a few switches and buttons and the sound of the generators onboard the ancient YT-2000 came to life. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked to Pixel who appeared to be aimlessly rolling back and forth. "Please to shut and lock the ramp down for the evening, thanks Pix."

The BB unit suddenly stopped in it's tracks and beeped a confirmation before rolling away towards the entrance ramp.

Mira looked up at Fiore and smirked. "No, I might come in and talk to you but I have no intentions of joining you." She let a chuckle slip and picked up a datapad, pointing it at Fiore. "We both know that is going to lead somewhere and can't stay innocent - not even one bit." She set the pad in her lap and started flipping through the reports. "You can't keep your hands to yourself." A slender eyebrow would raise as her free hand reached out to grab a starfruit that lay in wait for her on the arm rest. "I'm just being honest.."

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Fiore slowly made her way towards the refresher, she stepped over a few things here and there but all in all it wasn’t too bad. Mira did things her way and Fiore was in no place to argue or scold. In the end, she was getting a free shower, nothing could beat that. Standing near the refresher she continued to listen to Mira as she spoke. There was a look of light disappointment that she would be cleaning up by herself. Still, if this was how Mira wanted it then Fiore would play along. Slender fingers began to work on releasing her hands from the leather wraps she used for gloves. As she finally pulled each finger out, she nearly dropped them at the remark about keeping her hands to herself.

The young woman quickly recalled their first meeting. With a slight pout, Fiore quickly responded. “Well, you needed bacta and I didn’t think you’d be able to apply it yourself.” Returning the smirk, she began to undo the belt that held her two sabers. “Every other time I didn’t keep my hands to myself, I didn’t hear complaints.” There were several belts and straps that adorned her worn leather armor, it took only a few minutes though to climb out of it. In the back of her mind, she wondered if she should keep some sort of guard up. They hadn’t seen each other in some time and Mira was a slight bit hostile – shaking her head, Fiore disregarded the fact that she was now locked into the ship.

With the leather bits removed from her frame, she was left in only her snug fitted pants and a tank top. She looked around and made eye contact with just about everything she needed. Musing over the fact that a warm shower was something she hadn’t had in a while, she was going to enjoy it. Cold showers got old quickly. Climbing in, she spoke back to the girl on the couch, “Well if you’re going to come in and talk to me, you have to close your eyes. It might lead to those not so innocent things that could happen.” The water quickly hit her face as she fully submerged herself into the refresher. Her hair instantly became drenched and it felt amazing. Fiore pushed her hair from her face and tucked the wet mop of hair behind her ears.

She frowned slightly, pulling at the tips of them till they slightly dropped with her expression. There were times she was uncomfortable with them, but as she went along in life she was starting to appreciate them. The water felt amazing as steam started to build up, she sighed softly. “This feels so amazing…” [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira rolled her eyes at the remark. "If I recall our first meeting correctly - that was your doing as to why I couldn't apply bacta to myself."

She gestured to the partially naked Fiore with a piece of starfruit within her hand, fingers curling around the pink fruit. "I also recall that you didn't complain when the role was reversed the one time we've done anything." She brought the tart fruit to her lips and took a bite, raising her eyebrows in unison. Mira chuckled, sinking her teeth into the fruit to take another bite. Her crimson gaze diverted back to the reports as she swallowed hard before retorting Fiore.

"Oh please, walking in on you right now would make me about as hot as watching two Hutts make out." She threw the piece the remaining starfruit into the basket before groaning and throwing herself back further onto the couch. Mira hated being vile and cruel to Fiore but she had to stand her ground until things were better between them.

When the time was right - she'd relax and give Fiore a little bit of slack.

But she didn't know when that would be.

Fiore opened her mouth to respond, but soon caught a mouth full of water. She spat it out quietly and wiped her lips with the back of her hand. It seemed Mira had forgotten that they had shared a few moments alone together. How could Mira forget those moments? Fiore thought about them quite often and as she went through her memories, she remembered the last time they had shared. Sighing softly, Fiore remembered that they were together the last time when Mira’s mother had died.

Now came the hard part, did she correct Mira or did she just leave it alone? Weighing the options, she mumbled softly to herself. Though came the next comment from the wayward lover. A quick blush rose to Fiore’s cheeks out of frustration. Two Hutts? Really? Fiore looked down at her frame, she wasn’t that terrible looking. Sure, there was evidence that she fought a lot, but beyond that she was attractive in a sense. She clutched her chest and wondered if that was a reason or maybe it was her bottom. Fiore grabbed her bare bottom as she thought about it and shook her head. No, she was far more attractive than two huts making out.

Fiore remained quiet as she thought of her retort. It had to be a good one. She turned off the refresher after washing up and stepped out with a towel. She quickly dried off and grabbed her pants and her undershirt. Looking around she noticed that Mira’s line of sight was somewhere else, so she dropped the towel and began to dress herself. Absentmindedly she brushed back her hair to keep it from her face as she leaned over to pull her pants on. “Well then, the two hutts making out must be quite attractive. If that is what seeing me in the refresher reminds you of.” She stuck her tongue out towards Mira and continued to change. “You’re just missing out, yep. That you are.” Fiore wrinkled her nose as she would have hoped she would have picked up on some better retorts by now. The assassin sighed softly and did her best to focus on getting dressed.
