I'm IN his faction and continuing the story anyway. No one has any authority over fiction except the writer. You can post the word "fact" eighteen thousand times, it doesn't change the actual fact that a lot of people have been in on this since day one and are enjoying themselves immensely. The other actual fact, that there's going to be hell to pay and a lot of cleanup, may be what [member="Mantic Dorn"] is trying to avoid, but honestly, that's what you get when you take the helm. Gird your loins and see where you can help IC. If you continue to treat the players as if they're something you can control, you're going to have a much bigger problem on your hands, because last time I looked there were a lot of other factions on this site to choose from.

But there are limits regarding major factions and what their overall decissions are. This thing has overstepped that limit.

I've said from post one, i'm up for working with you guys. I love a good story. But it needs to be a compromise, and a collaboration. Not a set of orders.

What you are saying is exactly my kind of sensibility. Dont judge me too fast here.
We did denounce her! And at the same time there was an IC urging for the conpanies to stat calm as the republic wanted to compensate them. But that has not been taken into account because, What is happening is that peeps rush ahead before we have a chance to set it up for ourselves. Peeps need to accept that some writers take time to write...

Times when it's appropriate to ask someone to change a story:

• When they've directly harmed your characters without your permission
• When their actions violate some rule of the board
• ?????

That's...about it actually. As soon as this kicked off, just about everyone with a character and a brain started sparking off story ideas. I don't think anyone anticipated how quickly this would spread, but we're all just kinda rolling with it. It's fun. There's a nice story going on that doesn't involve someone being invaded or dominated (wink wink nudge nudge), and you, my dear, are the only one that's complaining about it. The rest of us are too busy having fun.

Now on invasions it does have the effect that the mandalorians use this as an ic excuse to invade. So, again major faction actions shiuld in all fairness not just go through without major faction staff approval.
The invasion can and prob will happen anyway fir whatever reasons and is not the main reason for me to start this topic. but I figured its worth mentioning the importance of these things.

But again, if this is a ruling I will of course stop pushing it.

That isn't how this works. Take a step back and think about what major faction staff (who weren't in power when this happened) have authority over.

And, to be clear, I'm not staff, so don't mistake me with an RPJ or admin - my word means nothing. Speaking from experience as a former major faction admin.
