DESCRIPTION
The Devos Trust was a financial trust owned by the Inkari-Jade family. It was established by Johannes Inkari, former Chume'da of the Hapes Consortium, and his Jedi wife Romi Jade. The trust was established as a way to continue making fortunes for charitable causes, as well as for holding the family fortune. The name draws from Johannes grandfather, as a way to keep the Inkari-Jade names off of public record.
RATIONALE
When Johannes Inkari abdicated the role of Chume'da of the Hapes Consortium to his cousin, he took his current assets and invested them into what is now the Devos Trust, choosing the of his grandfather as a way to separate the Inkari-Jade name from business. When Romi Jade temporarily retired from active Jedi service around the late 860's ABY, the couple decided it was time to prepare for the future of their family. They took up primary residence at an estate on Coruscant, and around 870 ABY they welcomed their first child -- which further prompted the establishment of the Devos Trust, built on top of the assets and fortune Johannes acquired from his noble family, and the funds from Jade's Jedi stipend to which she never spent.
