- Designed Usage-the cannon is designed to be mounted onto star ships for usage.
- Shoots massive beams of energy at the target capable of anhiliting organic targets almost entirely depending on the size of a target while greatly searing mechanical targets.
- Force Radiance- the Sith Alchemy used in its making, like all other Derumium based technology, radiates a sensation of Dark Side energy when a force sensitive comes in contact with the device.

- Sustained Engagement- the cannon was designed to not need to be reloaded for great lengths of time in order to sustain fire during longer engagements with enemies.
- Present Armament- this is the most commonly used weapon utilized by space craft used by Derumic Androids.
- Hard Hitter- the damage output from the cannon is among the most devastating of the ranged arsenal of the Derumic Androids.
- Dark Side Fuel- living targets that manage to survive agonizing blasts from the cannon, or get anhiliated in the agonizing blast produce a sensation of pain that may be able to fuel dark side force users.
- Niche Usage- because it is designed to be used on star ships, in particular the ones utilized by Derumic Androids through the way it mounts, it is not very versatile and not very accessable to other models of ships.
- Size- its massive size makes it the sole armament on the fighter craft Derumic Androids use, while it makes for less of them on the larger vessels.
- Irreplaceable- because of a lack of more sources, or unused, Derumium, if one is damaged beyond repair this is not enough resources to construct another to replace it.
- Rate of Fire- because of the mechanisms for firing, the rate of fire is slower for space craft.
When the station of Sautra Vokh was being made, and the Derumium found on its planet namesake was being integrated into Akhuul Sautra's military, star ships were made to defend the station from incoming invasions, escort thee station during hyperspace jumps, and defend the station from any threats found at the destination of said jumps. The primary armament for the ships developed was the Derumic Cannon. On fighter sized models of the ships developed, the cannon was mounted facing the front within the lower hull of the center of the ship to fire its high powered beams of energy ahead of its mounted craft in hopes of annhilating enemy craft. While having the effect as high powered ordinance on fighters giving them slightly above average damage output to other spacecraft in modern times (as of making this post), when it was first developed it had terrifying potential against the other ships wielded by Akhuul's rivals and other galactic powers at the time before the Great Hyperspace War.
With the ships now as hidden as everything else on Sautra Vokh (as of making this post), this technoloyg is not widely known in the galaxy as of modern times. The Derumic Android Soldiers that predominatley operate the craft this weapon is mounted on normally are beholden to the will of their ancient overlord in hiding, leaving this technology not very prone to being used and abused across the greater galaxy even if there was enough Derumium to make more.
