- Like all other Derumium-based technology, the metal is responsive to the force. When damaged, a force user with enough knowledge of Sith Alchemy and enough willpower can use the force to repair the armor. Also is integrated into Derumic Android bodies when equipped.

- Rather Cosmetic- another purpose was to distinguish apperance of higher ranking androids, as a result the Derumium used is not as strong compared to the androids themselves, and only is formed into shoulder pauldrons, girdles, as well as capes and cloaks which have situational levels of protection.
- The fronts of the bodies of androids would still be open to attacks despite having the armor equipped.
- Lighter Derumium- due to the forging technique making it lighter than other Derumium based technologies, the armor is more suceptible to damage compared to other Derumium based technologies.
When the Derumic Androids were being constructed in the days leading up to the Great Hyperspace War, Derumic Armor was developed as a way to provide a supplementary level of protection to the higher ranking members of the Derumic Android programmed heirarchy. It was also developed to establish distinciton between the higher and lower ranking members of the heirarchy. Soldiers, and Slaves were not equipped with the armor while Officers, Scribes, Lords, and Akhuul were. The armor is shown through seemingly ornamental shoulder pauldrons, girdles, and somewhat flowing capes and cloaks. While the Scribes only have the cloak form, the Officers, Lords, and Akhuul have the full form of the armor. The difference between the two is more for cosmetic distinction between the Scribes and others who wear the armor. Due to the exclusivity of the armor, and the hidden state of Sautra Vokh, this technology is likely to not be abused much by others in the greater galaxy.
