After asking her question, the woman briefly turned to her food while she remained close to her boyfriend. She was just about to get a knife and fork when she noticed him leaning in from her peripheral vision. His hand touched her cheek and she'd lift it and turn to look him in the eyes, her gaze widened slightly as she noticed the intensity in his eyes.
But once he smiled and leaned in, she relaxed and closed her eyes to return the kiss. At that moment, she cared nothing about the food or where they were. She knew Kahlil wasn't one to be this intimate in private either, but they were in their own little world right now.
"I'm glad..." she said, her voice more timid than usual.
"I'm not very picky about where we live, so we can look at lots of options. From apartments on Coruscant to getting ourselves a ship with enough room for us to live in comfortably. Whatever makes us most happy."

"We'll have all the time in the world to figure it out." Of that he was certain. No matter what, he'd come back to Valery Noble Valery Noble . Make a life with her. Once the shadow that loomed over him was gone, he could see the bright future they'd have together. He smiled warmly, letting his forehead rest against her own, letting the moment linger on just for a little longer. But.. Well. He was hungry. And the steak smelled pretty damn good.

His smile turned to a grin as he stole one last kiss and finally pulled away from the woman to start focusing on the meal. "For now, let's eat before it gets cold, yeah?"

"That sounds great to me," Valery said as she couldn't stop smiling. The idea of living together had been on her mind for some time now, so the fact it was finally happening excited her. Even if it was quite some time away, due to his upcoming task to face off against his father.
The woman then turned to her steak and began to eat, which meant showing her hungry side. She could eat a ton, and easily devoured a steak quickly. But around him, she didn't care about hiding something like that at all.
"I really should have brought a shirt or sweater..." Valery said after a moment, as most of her steak had already disappeared from her plate. The sun was going down, and with the slight breeze they were catching so out on the open, it would be a bit chilly for the woman in a bikini.

He was much slower of an eater than Valery Noble Valery Noble . Old habits died hard, and his more formal upbringing as a prince of the Epicanthix shown through even the simplest task of eating a steak on a date. Still, he grinned towards his date as she finished up. He raised a brow shortly after before leaning back from the table. His shirt had mostly dried by now, but it'd be warmer than bare skin, so he pulled it up and off before handing it over to Valery.

There wasn't a hesitation to be found as he did. Usually he sought to keep himself covered. Where a warrior would take pride in their scars, he only found shame and bad memories. Things he'd rather pretend didn't exist by staying clothed, especially in public. Now? She was cold, he had a shirt. Simple.

"I'll finish up and we head back, yeah?"

Valery flashed her boyfriend an almost embarrassed smile, as she finished her steak rather quickly and looked into his grin. But she knew he was just teasing, and when he leaned back to take off his shirt, the embarrassment had completely faded, replaced by slightly widened eyes and a smirk.
"Hm," she noted at first, as her eyes looked him over.
She then put on the shirt herself, which was far too big for her, and grinned happily like a girl who had stolen her boyfriend's sweater. Leaning into him, she stared up and into his eyes.
"Seems I found another way to get your shirt off." she teased. "But yes, once you've finished up yourself, we'll head back."
"No rush though, the view is amazing," she said jokingly, her eyes not looking at the beach or environment around them at all. She couldn't get her eyes off of him now.

He blinked. Then grinned. He still had a bit of steak left, but.. That didn't matter at this point. Instead he got up, rather brazenly lifting Valery Noble Valery Noble up to toss her over his shoulder. "No rush at all. C'mon." Kahlil left probably way too many credits on the table as he left the terrace, humming to himself. It was quite the show. The giant of a man walking down the beech back to the small home Valery had gotten for them, uncaring on who might see.

They were on vacation, why not have some fun?
