Dark Renaissance

Varis settled at his Master's command, removing his hand from the hilt of his sword. He sat down for the remainder of the Dark Lady's speech, keeping an eye on [member="Darth Vornskr"] all the while. Once [member="Darth Hauntress"] had finished and dismissed them, the Echani stood up again. "I shall await your calling, Master." He said with a bow of his head, before heading towards the exit of the room. When passing [member="Enigma"] he nodded his head, as a sign of respect, yet he ignored Darth Vornskr completely.

Once he had made his way down the tower, he headed back to his ship. He had some business to attend to while he awaited the calling.

The sight which greeted her upon arrival was that of a lightsaber held our against her hostess that had so graciously invited many whom were in the room. Though when all things were said and done and it seemed apparent that everyone was beginning to disperse and leave, she let out a soft sigh. It seemed that she missed a great deal of the meeting, or rather she missed a great deal of more or less nothing. Now she was stuck pondering what to do next, after all it had been a long journey from the edge of the galaxy to return to a somewhat 'civilized' world. Was she to just merely return to the dust and ash of the world she was calling home, or perhaps sway a few minds to join her on that world. It had been rough trying to convert those she ran across, always difficult to get them to either take a moment to listen or merely even accept such a belief.

"It would seem I've missed quite a bit."

The Dark Lady spoke up as she stepped to the side, allowing those that desired to leave the free access to the door. Of course she didn't want to get into a left right shuffle, such an awkward dance which she always detested. Quietly she stepped into the room, moving around the outer round of the room as her hand slowly moved along the wall. Her mind setting off on other matter that seemed known only to her as the whispers began to bicker and argue about which was right and whom said they should stay or leave. All of this going on in her mind and she seemed rather calm upon the surface, having dealt with such a thing for countless years now before she stopped in her slow pacing of the room.

Kaine narrowed his eyes as both Circe and Val'Ryss spoke to him one after the other, and with a show of great restraint he deactivated his blade and sheathed his weapon. "Very well, I will allow you to live to see if your idea bears any fruit, but should you come to odds with the One Sith I will not show you damnation which will be legendary even in chaos." With a flutter of his yellow cloak, the Sith Lord turned swiftly on his heels and began to make his exit. However; on the threshold of the chamber and the staircase beyond, he paused and cast another wary glance towards those others who had assembled to meet with Zankarr. "Those you have gathered here will join you in eternal torment as well." With that, Kaine departed from the meeting without another word, saying nothing to no one and not stopping until he had reached the ship that had carried him here.

"I think some Sith have forgotten the concept of subterfuge and deception." Darth Ayra emerged from around the corner, finding herself covered in a Sith robe. Her words came after [member="Darth Vornskr"] had departed the room and left the area, of which Darth Pandeima's Sith Apprentice had made herself apparent to the assorted group. Slowly, the Dark Chancellor of the New Order lifted her hands to the cowl of her robe and gently lowered it to reveal her facial features and hair.

A pair of yellow, predatory eyes averted from the exit to her Sith Master. She joined her side and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Hello there." Afterwards, she moved around her to study each face. She did not know Varis Stalwart, the mercenary Sharky or Darth Hauntress. But she did recognized Marmora, who had invited her for a plot in the Unknown Regions and subsequently failed to be executed. "We meet again, Marmora. Wonderful."

A disclaimer should be made. She looked nothing like her alias, who happened to be Alicia Drey. She had taken the precautions to make sure that her public image as the CEO of a Tier Two company on Chandrila differentiated from her secret life as a Sith Lord, Sith Apprentice and Dark Chancellor of the now defunct New Order. Beside Pandeima, aka Circe Savan, Ayra allowed her hands to fall to her sides, eyes on Hauntress. She studied the ancient Dark Jedi quietly.

Val'Ryss watched as Kaine and then her apprentice remove themselves from her meeting. She hadn't expected Kaine, who even during the days of the Empress of the Sith and the height of their world conquests, be turned into such a blind zealot of some nameless Dark Lord. Admittedly Val'Ryss was sceptical. But, she wouldn't be surprised if the Dark Lord was something out of the Dark Side itself. Having been once fused by corruptive taint to the dark side she had seen many dark spirits in the deep abyss of the force. Nodding her head she turned to the women who were still left in her presence.

"Ah, Marmora" Val'Ryss hissed in glee, "I have a especial need of your services. Hence why I have summoned you here." Val'Ryss stood up and gestured for the others to follow her down a corridor by a second door that had been opened by some servants. "Although I can still command the dark side, especially the dark entities that command Sith Alchemy and Magic, without the corruptive taint my powers are limited in comparison to what they once were. Don't be fooled. Though powerful the taint was eating me away and unless I purged it, I would have vanished into the force. But you, you still wield a great power over life and its components. I will need your help when we begin to create the dark rituals that form the spiritual backbone of the Sith Brotherhood." She hissed in venomous scheming. Val'Ryss then suddenly stopped and turned to Marmora. Resting her hand on hers.

"Be my apprentice and my first Dark Sage and enter the Dark Council of Sages with me" Val'Ryss' words filled the corridor like poisonous fumes. "Together, along with Circe and the others, we shall bath in the Sith Magic and emerged stained red in our commitments to the Sith."

[Note: If you check out the interest thread for Sith Brotherhood, highest ranking Brotherhood members (Sages) stain themselves red, like in the Legacy Books, as a final ritualistic allegiance to the Sith Covenant. I'll be doing it too, once I get Val'Ryss' avatar photoshopped >_>]

In the time that those whom desired to leave and did so, and with those few staying, The Dark Lady had seemingly produced a small tome from a pouch. The book was bound in a black cover with a twisted visage upon it as if the book itself was in pain. It was clear though that it was something that had not seen the light for thousands of years. The small tome was something ancient that had only recently been found, a reason that she herself was not too pleased to have been called away from her new home at the edge of the galaxy. Quietly she remained standing far from the table, in her own little place as her slender fingers gently flipped the page, the ancient language scribed within had not been read or spoke aloud in the galaxy for just as long.

At the mention of her name she did not seem to look up in that moment, too engrossed by the tome that she was still flipping through. However she still had more than enough attention to follow the others out of the room, slowly walking down the hall. Not as fast as those around her, though fast enough for her liking as she flipped another page. Her full attention was not taken upon until she felt the hands on hers as the tome shut closed with a slight thud as the pages pressed together. Looking up Val'Ryss as the question, or rather as it was said to her; becoming her apprentice and joining her council. It was not something that could come easily, nor was it something that she was willing to do if it meant forsaking her already taken oath, that which the whispers within her mind began to scream to her.

"YOU PROMISED! YOU PROMISED!"

"REMEMBER THAT OATH.... THE GREAT OLD ONE DEMANDS OF YOU!"

"YOU ARE HIS! HIS!"

Even with the torrent of screaming and shouting within her mind she remained calm and collected. Quiet as she took the moment to calm her thoughts and to reassure the whispers within her mind. Her hands ran over the outside of the tome as she felt the hands of Val'Ryss still upon her own. Quietly she looked up from where she had previously been reading a page. Her mind still in contemplation as she spoke softly.

"While I will aid you, there is still something that calls me to the edge of the Galaxy. Something far greater than the squabbling power vacuum of the Sith and their old enemies the Jedi. Perhaps if you saw it and heard the voices that I heard you would understand. I serve something ancient that has not seen light in countless millennia and it grows weary of its confinement."

Marmora spoke, her mind once more quieting the whispers that raged within. Silently her thumbs ran over the tome in her hand before she pulled her hands from Val'Ryss in a suiting manner. It wasn't a quick snatch or any such action to make her feel as if Marmora was disrespecting her. Quietly she slipped the black tome into the pouch it had been drawn from only for her hand to slide to a second pouch. Without a single word she produced a similar tome, though this one seemed more hand written as the bound pages had not shared the same aged appearance.

Darth Kane silently walks over to the commotion with his body not sheathed but showing the red aura and dark material on his suit, the Dark Lord puts his hand on [member="Marmora"] and nods to her for calming her down,The mid-adulthood man did not need to indeed speak since this is a silent operation that also has to do with spiritual mind as well in physical mind, he unshuffles his cape and cloak to better suit and present him self onto the Dark Lady, and as he looked at Val'Ryss he nodded back at her after nodding to the previous lady, to keep in mind she was telling the truth and not a silly opinion that a Dark Lady is more suitable to lead than a Dark Lord.

OOC: If you all appreciate it my brother Josh encouraged me to rp here for my needs of being bored.

Circe smiled, continuing to wait until her old friend Val'Ryss was done talking , so she could initiate into conversation with her. For now, she would simply enjoy leaning against the wall.

[OOC: No problem Kane. Welcome to Chaos! :D]

Ayra leaned on the wall beside Pandeima, watching the conversation quietly.

With a nod he went off on his own, after a little notice of discomfort from another newcomer and curiosity he wandered toward the Quite cheeky lady, he appears infront of her but she didn't know because he used a Spell to make him blend with other surroundings or so people in a crowded spot, he looks at the lady with his emotionless and faceless visor focusing on her than the rest of everyone else, you could tell he was sort of hostile because of his Aura of Uneasiness spell which indeed causes sentient beings to be effective of the force power, he still watches the lady, after a few eye contacts or so was it he spoke in a calm and discerning voice.

"Nobody, likes...a snoop..."

He would say as if he was disappointed but wasn't he knows that certain humans desire secrets deadliest and juiciest warmest and weirder dare he say weirdest secrets possible...

Ayra turned her gaze to the man. She felt uncomfortable in his presence. Something was afoot. She lifted a hand and pushed a finger against his chest. Force Breach, a technique designed to interrupt techniques being used in the Force, was emitted; and thus Kane would find his Aura of Uneasiness negated.

She felt comfortable after that. Lowering her hand, she said. "Nobody likes a bully either."

He was not trying to be a bully but he did use the Force Power for protective reasons, but since this lady disrupted the Spell he decided to grin seeing that he was not the only Sith Sorcerer in this tower and that he sensed that move a second ago he offered his hand to shake and also apologizing without speaking by using force telepathy, he nodded then raised his saber hilt offering a friendly duel in the dueling rooms and to avoid confusion of his way of communication this is what he said in his force telepathy:

"I admire your use of figurative speech forgive me for the outburst i caused in your sense of the force...come we shall duel it is what i feel when newcomers attend."

She gestured to @Darth Hauntress. "I am listening and learning, right now. But I'd be more than happy too afterwards." Ayra leaned forward to whisper in his ear. "I'd do the same, if I were you."

Kane already listened to the conversation he even tried to calm the dark lady's mind although he wanted to correct her he decided to stay silent and listen after nodding to the lady..

"It would be rude to not follow a lady by her command,i will do so for now."

Val'Ryss' smiled turned to a dead line. She nodded with lament, "Indeed. I sense it. A great power lurking in the shadows. I too once called to a master that only existed in the darkness of the nether realms. But I broke of its chain and took its power.True one day I will finally perish and my century long existence will fade- finally being reunited with my Dark Master. But I shall keep good use of these powers till then." She grinned with a hiss. Noticing two others had arrived and made their presence felt, one even dispensing a spell against the other in jest, Val'Ryss to the both of them and gave them a glare with narrowed eyes.

"Circe, it seems you have brought your entire entourage with you." Val'Ryss hissed in annoyance. She strolled towards the young woman and the Sith man. Her dark tunic dragging against the floor like a thick mist drifts over a blackened lake at night. She looked at the young lady, [member="Alicia Drey"], and then the man, [member="Darth Kane"], "And whom may you two be?" Val'Ryss questioned with a tilt of her head and a stare from her burning red eyes.

Kane could only speak telepathically, but first he does his mental translocation spell to teleport himself behind Val'Ryss this is a form of teleportation that allows the user to have an "out-of-body" experience in which they see in a tunnel vision. They move anywhere and see anything, no barriers stop them, and cannot be sensed,he began to think and would say at the same time..

"My signiture if what you desire is Darth Kane Follower of the Sith lord Darth Bane who i may be as well as his apprentice, what may you be mad'am?"

| @Darth Hauntress | [member="Enigma"] | [member="Darth Kane"] | [member="Marmora"] |

"My name is Ayra." She thumbed to Kane. "He isn't with us. No idea who he is." She leaned forward to whisper, which in itself was redundant because the entire room could hear her. "He's a bit creepy."
