Faction Crusader training against the dark Eldrich arts. [Ashlan Crusade]

Lockdown stood in a large auditorium within one of the many training areas for the Ashlan's. After securing the ability to host a training on how to best defend and beat eldrich creatures and beings he waited for the last few people who wished to participate to trickle in. "thank you all for those willing to partake in this training today from force users to simple soldiers today's training will focus on training your mind and body in dealing with the horrors of eldrich creatures as such ill be your instructor today. this being said everything you will see cant kill you but it can and might hurt you if you are not careful. so listen to your squad leaders you pair with and follow my lessons carefully."

once the room was filled with all those willing to take part in this Lockdown would turn to the Ashlan overseeing his training for them to give any advice and words of wisdom before he began. walking forward lockdown would grip the air around him seeming to bend the very fabric before he pulled ripping and causing the very room around them to shatter as the group found themselves in a strange rocky underground cave sounds of flowing water could be heard around them and a vast clear blue body of water stretched out from the east of them they would be given time to look and explore their surroundings before lockdown snapped his finger letting off a small amount of blueish energy as the water behind an ashlan crusader would bubble and rise before a large eldrich creatures head towered over the person as they ignited their lightsaber on instinct.

"this dear children is one of many creatures from this horrible place of eldrich abominations and one of the most common, however for today's purposes you won't be starting off learning how to fight it but rather how to defend your mind against it, my first lesson is to not trust your eyes but to trust your other senses when defending from such monster." for every person that looked at the creature it would appear different, more eyes, different teeth claws instead of tentacles bigger smaller leaner or wider. the perspective of the distance between it and who sees it differed as well seeming close to some but far away to others. "your first lesson is to work together using your other senses to be able to evade you need to make it from here to outside of this cave navigating this cave and hiding from the creature remember don't trust your sight."

Isla had come her with fascination, she wanted to see what Omni Lockdown Omni Lockdown had been talking about? Eldritch Abomination to her just sounded like another term for Sith Spawn, but she was ready to be proved wrong.

she sat calmly watching and Omni began his demonstration, very glad that she wouldn't be fighting it, she was no warrior unlike most of her contemporaries in the crusade. But lessons to avoid mental manipulation would likely prove invaluable. The Sith were extremely devious in that regard and she had extensive force resistance training, she would like to see how the two related.

There was a bit of coldness in the air as they crusaders gathered for the training session. Many had shared a silent mistrust of their newest companion, likely picking up on the strange, dark energies that seemed to swirl around him. As for Heinrich, he saw what he believed to be just another lost soul, doing their best to find their way back to a renewed freedom. Usually it was Heinrich dictating such large-scale training sessions, but today he would take a back seat, standing side by side with the others that sought to learn to fight such strange foes.

He took a step forward, followed closely by a handful of crusaders, eyeing the strange, alien visage that Lockdown had produced. The beast was largely amorphous... shifting... almost unknowable. Heinrich was unsure as to how this training would pan out for him. Having been to the Nether and seeing the many splendors and horrors therein, he found himself less sure than usual about his abilities to combat the darkness in all its forms. If it hadn't been for the warm embrace of Ashla's Light, he likely would find himself stumbling more than he already was. Faith is key, he would tell himself. Trust in Ashla and all will be well.

As he listened to the advice from their companion, Heinrich took a deep breath. The process of learning to not trust one's eyes was not unfamiliar to him. The training he had undergone as a Jedi had taught him that the eyes can be deceitful, and that trusting in the Force was the true way of sensing one's surroundings. He thought back on his first days, when he would practice lightsaber techniques with a blast shield covering his eyes. It felt like an eternity ago, yet here he was, employing those same basic techniques. Despite this, he had a feeling that this would end up being much more involved. So, without a single word, he closed his eyes, and called out to the Force for guidance.
