BIG Z1776
Baboon with a MAAWS
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Created as a terror weapon intended to be transported to and then turned loose on enemy worlds and devastate them and their industrial output and terrorize the population and the government. It is intended as a weapon of last resort, the beings whose bodies get broken down and their consciousnesses implanted into these shells lose all sense of self and purpose other than what they feel, which is excruciating pain and anger. In the case of "Ghosts" turned loose by Crossroads military action those who inhabit the "Ghost" shells are volunteers who choose to kill, knowing full-well what it is they are about to do and are at peace with it. This willingness to kill is simplified into an unreasonable being whose sole purpose is to kill until it or its host, is killed. Such a weaponized being is so dangerous that its mere existence is kept secret from everyone in the Crossroads Republic save for a very, very few people in the military and in the highest echelons of the government.
- Intent: To create an aggressive and lethal man-made entity

- Name: Crossroads Ghosts
- Designation: Semi-Sentient
- Origins: A Crossroads Defense Industries Lab
- Average Lifespan: Naturally-Immortal
- Estimated Population: Rare
- Description: Made of 3-D printed bodies of low-density gas bosons cooled to absolute zero and linked by their atomic bonds which are imbued with the tortured consciousnesses of sentients. They therefore exist in temperatures, as stated, at or near absolute zero at the lowest level of quantum state. They are effectively the opposite of plasma, and follow the same laws of physics. This means that they exist on an extremely low density level, and can pass through most solid matter with a few exceptions such as ceramics, loose metal filings, and plasma-based shields and can do so at tremendous speed and even take flight. Their presence is felt easily by Jedi because the souls themselves are in pain, but their hostile intent and capability also creates a sense of foreboding and danger for Force-Sensitives as well. Physically, they are felt because of how physically-cold they are, and it feels like an icy chill approaching. When they kill it is done simply by passing through their target, flash-freezing the organs of their prey, and the cold being so great to the point of burning their targets' skin, eyes, etc. Only a lightsaber or other very high-heat plasma-based weapon can kill them, traditional particle-type weapons, proton-type weapons, explosive-type weapons, and kinetic-type weapons will not even slow them down, much less kill them. If their original host bodies are destroyed then they will die. They also emit audible noises, like groans, screams, or whistles.
- Breathes: N/A
- Average Height of Adults: 1.7-2.0 Meters
- Average Length of Adults: N/A
- Skin color: Invisible (Only a multispectral sensor or light can see them, and they appear to be a bright ghostly-blue)
- Hair color: N/A
- Distinctions: No discernable difference between male and female, can fly, walk through most solid or liquid matter without a problem, kills just by touching its victims
- Races: N/A
- Force Sensitivity: Non-Sensitive
- Unable to be seen without special equipment
- Can go through most forms and types of solid or liquid matter
- Can kill just by touching someone, powerful traditional armor, even beskar, cannot protect the wearer.
- Cannot be reasoned-with.
- Can be easily killed by a lightsaber
- Can be sensed by Force-Sensitives quite readily (Although an unacquainted one may not know specifically what they are sensing)
- Diet: Needs energy of some kind in order to persist (Meaning it will kill droids by sucking them dry of power)
- Communication: Mental Telepathy
- Technology level: None (But the technology to create them is very advanced)
- Religion/Beliefs: Will kill every sentient they see, no matter their intentions, age, gender, race, etc.
- General behavior: Will keep to themselves and just mull around, but when they encounter a sentient they will pursue and kill them.
