• Fringe stands to gain from the One Sith’s existence with the Omega Protectorate attempting to wage war against the One Sith - thus making the Protectorate vulnerable to the Fringe’s machinations.
• Confederacy stands to gain from the One Sith with them being a hate sink against the Protectorate.
• Black Sun stands to gain from the One Sith in order to reconquer Nar Shadaa and the rest of Hutt Space.
• Moross Stands to gain from the One Sith since no one pays attention to them now.
• Omega Protectorate could have benefited from the One Sith’s existence by eventually waiting to Dominion all of the Republic’s soon to be non-existent territory.
• Silver Jedi and Laventine stands to gain from the One Sith because they can become the New Republic even faster.
• Republic stands to gain from the One Sith’s existence because they’re no longer the most despised faction on the board.

Well, the Republic is a stretch, but everyone else could benefit in-character from the One Sith's existence right now. I seriously wonder if people have taken the moment to see how much the One Sith could benefit their faction in-character. We'd also be willing to help people get their revenge against the Republic like everyone wanted to a few months ago.

This is another thing people that want to fight us should realize: the amount of characters killed or converted by the One Sith is high. The Republic can't stop the bleeding. The Protectorate and Mandos just got the first taste of it.

There's nothing to say the rest of the Factions are immune.

It appears as though history is doomed to repeat itself over and over and over and over again. I for one wonder why the goal is never really RP -- but rather, absolutely making sure factions are decimated in ridiculous tag team adventures of OOC hand holding and fun-fuckery.

That's the only place I can see a "gangbang" going. It's going to devolve into people trying to OOCly eradicate a faction from the map, with the pretense of, "Hey, RP yo!"

Is this a game, or an avenue for RP, or something in between? You guys have an identity crisis to overcome before you can ever move beyond the historical legacy of factions just being in it for themselves, and wishing ruin on anybody who doesn't fall in with their clique.

But that's just my take.
