Alisteri crossed his arms as he listened to the Jedi's response, clearly expecting another rebuttal or argument against his own. While standing around and arguing would get them nowhere, he seemed rather content to do so for the moment. As such whenever Matthew began agreeing, albeit reluctantly from what he could tell, with his argument his attention snapped back to the Jedi immediately rather than thinking up new remarks to use for later. That was certainly a new one and he was clearly caught off guard by it.

When Matthew fully agreed with his opinion on their next course of action he nearly dropped his lightsaber in surprise, very glad that his helmet hid his expression. Alisteri found himself nodding at the Jedi's assessment in spite of himself. "Protocols do need to be amended and even abandoned at times. What matters is that we ensure justice is brought upon these criminals. The semantics of the matter are best left to lawyers and lawmakers."

Exactly why the Jedi chose to back down and agree with him was unclear but it meant that they could spring into action so he chose not to question it too much. For now. Once they had begun their chase then he could start worrying about getting a lightsaber in the back.

"We can come alert the authorities and turn this warehouse over to them after we catch the workers, they may have some access codes or whatever else that could speed along the process of getting the supplies out anyway." Alisteri wasted no further time in making his way out of the secret room, through the cramped tunnel and back into the office. His senses would help guide him to his prey, as they had plenty times before.

"Anywhere in particular they may have run off to? I haven't been here before myself."

As they made their way out of the secret room and back into the office, Matthew took a moment to gather his thoughts and consider where the workers might have fled to. He spoke with a thoughtful tone, "Based on their knowledge of this facility and their desire to evade capture, it's possible that they have a predetermined escape route in mind. They might have fled to a nearby hideout or sought refuge in a location where they feel less likely to be discovered."

He paused briefly, scanning the room and assessing any potential clues that could lead them to the workers' whereabouts. "We should consider areas where they have connections or alliances. It's likely they'll seek assistance from individuals who are sympathetic to their cause or are willing to aid them in evading capture," Matthew suggested, his mind working through different possibilities.

"I don't have firsthand knowledge of this specific location, but my experience tells me that they might have chosen a secluded spot, away from prying eyes. Let's trust our instincts and follow any leads that might guide us to their current whereabouts," he concluded.

Matthew's gaze sharpened as he focused on Alisteri's words. He nodded a glimmer of determination in his cerulean blue eyes. "Actually, I believe I did sense something during our encounter," he admitted, his voice carrying a touch of confidence.

He paused for a moment, considering the information he had gathered. "Based on what I sensed, it seems that the worker we seek has moved in a northwestern direction. The trail grows fainter as time passes, but I believe we can still pick up their trail and track them down."
Matthew's tone became resolute as he shared his findings.

He locked eyes with Alisteri, his expression conveying readiness. "Let us waste no time. We shall follow the trail and ensure that their attempts to evade capture are in vain."

Having more than one little hideaway was a commonality among many smugglers and criminals, and one that these workers would likely have as well. Much like Matthew said, it was not at all uncommon for there to be dedicated or at least designated routes or areas that one could slip into if too much attention or trouble found them. Alisteri himself had plenty of experience with such things during his time hunting down smugglers on Faldos and Formos, often finding routes of caches and hideouts along a well traveled path to the black market areas of a city.

With assistance from other such groups their searching would be all the more difficult as their respective hideaways would be open to the workers as well, but nothing that he hadn't dealt with before. He prided himself on slaying many a criminal coalition and alliance and he had no qualms about putting down a whole gang or two if it meant getting these workers.

Whether the Jedi would feel the same or not in that regard remained to be seen.

Alisteri perked up as Matthew spoke of sensing something, his own investigation within the Force and the office alike pausing as he listened. "Northwest hm?" Perhaps heading towards some hideaway or maybe even a private spaceport? There was only one way to find out and it most certainly wasn't by letting the workers reach their destination. The hunt was on then.

The masked man nodded and idly gestured to the Jedi. "Lead the way then, I'll see if I can pick up on their trail as well once we get closer. With any luck the crowds around the spaceport will have slowed them down and forced them to take alternative routes." Anything that could delay them would be invaluable as the pair sought to catch up to their prey.

Matthew emerged from the dimly lit warehouse, stepping into the bustling streets outside. The cacophony of sounds and the vibrant energy of the city enveloped him as he took a moment to survey his surroundings. The busy streets teemed with people going about their daily lives, creating a lively backdrop for their pursuit.

With a focused gaze, Matthew led the way, striding purposefully through the crowds. His tall frame stood out among the sea of bustling bodies, drawing occasional curious glances from passersby. He navigated the streets with ease, a sense of determination evident in his every step. Matthew's heightened senses allowed him to pick up on subtle cues, searching for any signs that might point them in the direction of the workers they sought. He remained attuned to the ebb and flow of the crowd, anticipating the movements of their targets.

As they moved deeper into the bustling city, Matthew's focus remained. He swiftly weaved through the throngs of people, his purpose clear and resolute. His connection to the Force guided his instincts, helping him to discern any disturbances or anomalies that might indicate the presence of the workers they pursued.

The hunt was on, his steps quickening as he closed in on their quarry

"There... up a head."

As Matthew's tall figure emerged from the crowd, the two fleeing workers caught sight of him and a wave of panic washed over them. They scattered in different directions, frantically trying to escape his notice. The chaos created by their attempts to flee would make it easier for them to track the workers and close in on them, however this time there was a third unknown figure also departing suddenly and noticeably.

Alisteri stepped out after Matthew and largely overlooked the casual lives of the citizens around them, instead reaching to try and discern where their targets where as best he could. Of course he had the Jedi to lead but he'd rather not be reliant on him alone. Besides, sensing the nervousness and fear of a criminal on the run was always a favorite of his.

The masked man followed the Jedi through the crowds and largely slipped between people and groups as he made his way forward, having pulled his cloak around his armor so that he resembled more of a simple traveler than a Sith Knight. Thankfully it seemed as though most people were content to step around the pair, usually giving Matthew an extra glance, before continuing on. Given how busy the street was he hoped that their prey had been slowed by the crowds as well.

Before long, even as they had to dodge around or slip through more and more groups of people out and about on their daily affairs, the Jedi picked up speed and remarked that their targets were ahead. Alisteri's hand slipped back down to the lightsaber at his hip and unclipped it, his finger on the ignition switch as they finally escaped the crowds and spotted the two workers.

As they scattered though they were not alone in their escape attempt, a third person quickly making their own exit as the two panicked workers ran off in their own ways. "They have an accomplice, we can get them later as long as we keep an eye on them." Without further delay the masked man sprang forward after one of the workers, one that had ran off to the right and had to weave through a narrow alleyway market.

Arlen's heart raced as he found himself cornered in the dead-end alley. He could feel the weight of the stolen air and equipment he had taken from the workshop, and he knew the implications of his actions. He had never intended to become a thief, but desperation and the hardships of life had driven him to this point.

Seeing Alisteri approaching, Arlen felt a mixture of fear and remorse. He knew the consequences of his actions could be severe, and he wasn't sure if he could bear the burden of his mistakes. As Alisteri approached, Arlen slowly raised his hands in surrender, his voice trembling as he spoke.

"P-Please, I... I didn't want to do this," Arlen stammered, his eyes pleading with Alisteri for understanding. "I know it's wrong, but my family... we're struggling, and I thought maybe... maybe I could sell the equipment and use the credits to help them."

He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "I never wanted to hurt anyone, I swear. It was a moment of weakness, and I regret it already. I know it doesn't excuse what I've done, but please, I beg you, spare me. I'll return everything, I promise. Just... please don't report me to the authorities. My family depends on me, and I can't bear the thought of leaving them in even more distress."

Arlen's eyes glistened with tears, his desperation evident in every word he spoke. He knew that he had made a grave mistake, and he was willing to face the consequences and make amends. All he could do now was hope that Alisteri would show him mercy and give him a chance to right his wrongs.

Matthew on the other hand narrowed in on his worker

Matthew continued to try to apprehend the culprits led him to pursue the second worker who had fled with the stolen equipment. The chase took them through the bustling streets of the city, with Matthew skillfully navigating the crowded paths, his agile movements allowing him to keep up with the fleeing worker.

The worker darted through narrow alleyways and crowded marketplaces, trying desperately to shake off Matthew's pursuit. But the 'Jedi' was relentless, closing the distance between them with every stride. As they weaved through the maze-like streets, Matthew kept a focused eye on the worker, anticipating their every move.

The worker's heart pounded in their chest as they realized they were being pursued by a Jedi. Fear gripped them, and they knew they couldn't outrun the skilled pursuer behind them. With a final burst of energy, they turned into a dimly lit alley, hoping to lose Matthew in the shadows.

But Matthew was not so easily deterred. He followed the worker into the alley, his lightsaber hilt now firmly in his hand. The glow of the blade illuminated the narrow passage as he closed in on the thief. Sensing that there was no way out, the worker reluctantly turned to face the Jedi, their hands raised in surrender.

"I-I didn't mean to do this," the worker stammered, their voice quivering. "It was just... an opportunity, you know? Times are tough, and I thought I could make a quick credit. I never meant to cause any harm."

Matthew regarded the worker with a calm expression, his keen senses detecting the genuine remorse in their words. He understood that desperation could drive people to make regrettable choices, but he also knew the importance of upholding the law and ensuring justice was served.
"Your actions have consequences," Matthew said firmly but not unkindly. "Stealing is wrong, and it affects others, just like it affects you. But I can see that you regret what you've done. Return the stolen goods, and I will ensure that you have a chance to make amends."

The worker nodded, seemingly grateful for the second chance, and together they headed back to the workshop to return the stolen equipment. However, as they reached the entrance, the worker suddenly made a swift move, attempting to grab a nearby tool with the intention of using it as a weapon against Matthew.

Matthew's instincts kicked in, and he swiftly blocked the worker's move, disarming them before they could cause any harm. "I was hoping you'd make the right choice," Matthew said sternly.

The worker's facade of remorse melted away, revealing a more sinister intent. "You think you're better than us, don't you?" the worker sneered, his true colors showing. "Just because you have some fancy powers, you think you can judge us? We do what we have to survive in this world!"

Matthew's expression remained steady, and he responded calmly, "It's not about having powers or feeling superior. It's about making choices that don't hurt others. There are better ways to survive, ways that don't involve stealing and causing harm to innocent people."

The worker's anger flared, and he lunged again, but Matthew easily disarmed him once more, using the Force to subdue the unruly thief. "I'll take you in now," Matthew said firmly. "You'll have to face the consequences of your actions."

As they left the workshop, the worker was bound and in custody, taken to the local authorities to face justice for his crimes.

Alisteri opted to take the high ground in his pursuit of the worker by leaping up onto one of the balconies that overlooked the alleyway, running over the market rather than through it in order to catch up quickly. Luckily for him his prey was frantic and didn't seem any more familiar with the alleys than the Sith himself was. In his desperation the worker ran right into a dead end and the Sith wasted no time in jumping from his perch to land at the entrance of the dead end to block the only avenue of escape.

Despite himself, Alisteri couldn't help but enjoy the small feeling of pride at the fear evident in the eyes of the cornered worker as he began stalking towards him. His hand clutched his lightsaber but he didn't ignite the blade yet. The worker hadn't given him a reason to even as he drew nearer. The begging and pleading did annoy him somewhat though, mostly due to how many times he had heard similar such pleas.

Begging did nothing for him but tempt him further towards a more...aggressive stance against the worker.

"So you get away free without the authorities knowing? Free to keep stealing and pilfering from your employers and the people of this city? Is that really what you expect is going to happen?" He loomed over the frightened worker for a moment before his free hand shot out and wrapped around the other man's neck. Normally he would just use the Force but it was better to stay lowkey in that regard given the circumstances.

Alisteri's grip wasn't one of choking however, rather one that kept the worker in place and threatened consequences if he struggled. "You robbed like a common thief and when your treachery was discovered you sought to escape judgement. But there is no escape from it, not one that you would seek anyway." He clipped his lightsaber onto his belt and used his other hand to grab hold of the worker's arm as he released his grasp around his neck.

He turned and pulled the man after him, his grip on his arm harsh and secure. "I'm going to drag you before the authorities and you will tell them of your crimes, then they shall punish you accordingly. I trust you understand? Because I am not in the mood to repeat myself."

Alisteri didn't have much trouble wrangling the terrified man. As Alisteri and Matthew each brought the two culprits to the proper authorities, each one taking responsibility for the thief they had captured. Despite their different backgrounds and perspectives, both 'Jedi' and Sith appeared to understand the importance of upholding the law, and ensuring justice was served.

The captured workers that were brought before the local authorities, and the evidence of their crimes was presented.

The outcome was swift, and the ringleaders behind the operation were identified and apprehended by local law enforcement. The stolen goods were returned to their rightful owners, including the workshop owner, Mr. Gavril, who was relieved to see justice served and his property returned. A sense of normalcy was brought to the port as the flow of much-needed air was returned.

For the two captured workers, the consequences of their actions were significant.

Matthew peered at Alisteri briefly and addressed him briefly. " It was interesting, working with you. " Matthew chirped.

Alisteri wasted no time in escorting the worker to the nearest authorities and having the man explain his crimes before leaving him in their custody. It wasn't often that he actually spoke with the locals of a world not under Sith rule and even less often that he actively helped the local authorities. Usually he just took care of the problem and made his leave of the world in question.

It was far easier to do that than explain who he was and why there may be some lightsaber marks left behind after all.

"Interesting indeed." Alisteri nodded at the Jedi's remark, idly leaning against a railing as he watched the reclaimed air equipment being handed out. Now he could finally get access to his package without the spaceport personnel making use of the kiosk. He pushed off of the railing and rolled his shoulders with a small sigh, eager to retrieve what he came for and leave Farstine behind him.

"I have some other business to finish up before I take my leave, I trust you still have matters to handle as well Matthew?"

"That is so." Matthew chirped softly. " Though if you are interested, I'd like to thank you for your assistance. " He said offering Alisterri a data stick. "Light's blessings.

Matthew drew his cloak about his shoulders and a set of large fluffy wings with resplendent qualities curtained out and he took a few steps before taking flights outside. He did have some supplies to pick up himself as well.

Alisteri raised an eyebrow at the data stick, plucking it from the Jedi's grasp and looking it over for a moment. "I am not the Light's to bless." He responded simply as he stuffed the data stick into his cloak for later. The masked man looked back at Matthew just in time to see the reveal of the wings right before the Jedi took off into the sky.

He watched in complete shock as the Jedi flew away before turning away and making his way back into the spaceport. "Fething Jedi."
