Several weeks after the takeover of Empress Teta.

2f4cc5a682295068e7836f2fc7f2a33d.jpg

On the turbolift up to the meeting space, fingers interlaced with Ellie's as they both listened to the report Thirty-Seven was giving. Even after weeks of research, it seemed the droid had not come up with a wealth of information.

[ Mister Myi started his career as an Aide to the Imperial Board of Economic Directors. Once that government collapsed, Mister Myi was active in the Dark Empire with COMLIT. According to records, once the Dark Empire collapsed he positioned himself as Vice Chair of the Imperial Treasury but is now currently known as the Imperial Treasurer. ]

Makai was silent for a long moment, mulling over the information.

"No information on the status of his personal life? Husband? Wife? Kids? Pets?"

[ None I could find Sir. ]

"Makes it a little more difficult but we can roll with it. I tried negotiations with an aide before, Dominic Praxon Dominic Praxon , for a Republic Senator. A nightmare. Tried to do my usual icebreaker despite being cast off to an aide...talk about wooden...Not a situation I want to repeat. I'm hoping Treasurer Myi will have a bit of a personality beyond credits and Imperial life."

In his experience, things went a tad easier when one could relax and get to know the other on a basic level, even if it was mundane information. While he ran a corporation and his end goal was expansion and credits such a thing couldn't happen without connections. The lifeblood of running any corporation, government, or movement - in his humble opinion.

"Thank you though for the efforts Thirty-Seven."

[ You are welcome Sir. ]

Iced blue gaze turned to his wife. They hadn't worked together in some time, preferring to keep the businesses separate. Yet they were in a position where they both needed assurance from the government. With many corporations shirking back and circling the wagons, not his household. Neutrality was key and to be frank, Makai wanted himself and Ellie to be seen as the next power couple of the corporate world. For their corporations to be on top no matter what the situation.

All the more reason this meeting was key.

Squeezing her hand, he offered a smile.

"You look amazing. Ready to knock it out of the park?"

The turbolift hummed with a steady ascent, its mirrored walls reflecting back a poised image Myra wasn't entirely sure she felt. Her hand was warm in Makai's, fingers entwined, grounding her in the moment as Thirty-Seven's monotone report played in the background. Imperial Treasurer Myi. Numbers, titles, affiliations. All the dry things that made a man appear more like a ledger than a person.

She exhaled softly through her nose, catching Makai's words about icebreakers and wooden aides. A smile tugged faintly at her lips and then she arched a delicate brown brow at his direction.

"Uh huh, well, remember to be a little more tactful. We don't need to have any issues starting from the get go. We need to approach this like mama would. Pause before responding... and remember you have a habit of showing what you are thinking with your expressions."

Which he did. Cute as it was where he was able to convey everythig he was thinking with an amused twist of his lips or a sardonic scoff, it wasn't something that could be done here.

Imperials had a tendency to like their regulations and propriety.

Her own approach was different. Not charm, but precision. Presentation. Although under all the attempts at appearing poised, Myra still had concerns of getting a panic attack. She had to do an hour long meditation and aromatherapy session to get herself in the right headspace for this. Andwhile this wasn't her first negotiation, but it was the first time in years they were walking into one together. That thought was both comforting and daunting.

Her gaze slid to him, the warmth of his smile softening some of the nerves in her belly. She squeezed his hand back, the smirk that curved her lips laced with quiet confidence.

"Of course I'm ready," she replied, low and sure. "We'll knock it out together. Power couples don't falter before accountants."

A playful flick of her eyes, but her voice carried conviction. Whatever Treasurer Myi proved to be; ledger, lifeless aide, or something more, they would meet him not as two separate forces, but as one.

A gentle hum emanated from the turbolift as it ascended slowly towards one of the more secluded lounges on Empress Teta. A squadron of Novatroopers stood rigidly, their black and gold armor creating a striking contrast against the Imperial banners that adorned the corridor. He made a slight adjustment to the cuff of his plain light green uniform as the doors opened to fully unveil the lounge.

The atmosphere inside was thick with a blend of spiced wine and luxurious perfumes, accompanied by the gentle, melodic sounds of a Twi'lek dancer's performance in the background. Myi's demeanor remained largely unchanged, even amidst the fog of deathsticks, as he chose to uphold a carefully constructed facade of polite indifference to avoid revealing his true feelings on the matter.

He surveyed the patrons in the room, a typical mix of lesser nobles and corporate individuals who fancied that their wealth entitled them to an audience with the Empire's upper echelons.

His footsteps were silent on the plush carpet as he approached the table, offering a curt nod to Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell and Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell , his eyes briefly sweeping over their forms as he took his seat.

"I am Aggadeen Myi, Imperial Treasurer," Aggadeen said in a low voice that carried just enough weight to command attention without being unnecessarily loud. He offered no further pleasantries, no small talk about the music or the decor. The purpose of this meeting was not to socialize but to conduct business, and he intended to get straight to the point.

"It is my understanding you wished to discuss a matter of mutual benefit," he continued, his gaze settling first on the man, then the woman.

"I feel old, this is not our scene."

Makai had whispered next to Ellie's ear as they waited. The lingering thick haze of deathsticks. The questionable Twi'lek girls dancing in the other room. The over-the-top old money opulence others were flaunting as if to prove to others of their influence. Even before he was married such a scene never had appealed to him.

Before he could say more Treasurer Myi had arrived. Makai stood to great the man and extend his hand in greeting but he was already settling in and immediately getting to the questions at hand. Fair. Instead Makai unbuttoned his suit jacket and quickly sat back down as not to make the guards nervous.

"A pleasure to meet you Treasurer Myi. I am Makai Dashiell of Aina Holdings and Dashiell Incoporated. This is my wife, Myra Arceneau Dashiell of MaraTibx and Arceneau Trade Company, we appreciate your time today."

Makai gave a small pause and glanced towards Ellie. Looked like he was up first.

"Yes, that is correct. Both of our corporations are active on Empress Teta and other planets in your new territory. I am curious of your economic philosophy and guidelines for corporate entities. Continuing to have a presence on these worlds will be beneficial for not only ourselves but also the Galactic Empire."

Myra let her fingers smooth the silk of her skirt as she leaned back in her seat, hazel eyes flicking from the rigid Novatroopers at the door to the man who had finally joined them.

Still, she dipped her chin politely when Makai introduced her, giving a slight smile that she hoped would not betray the anxiety she felt underneath.

Just do it like Mama would. You've practiced and done this plenty of times before on your own with Mara Tibx. It is no different
, she told herself.

"A pleasure, Treasurer Myi,"
Myra said in greeting, and while the Imperial did not disclose the typical pleasentries, her mama would've had her head if she didn't at least display them.

"Mutual benefit can take many forms, Treasurer Myi," she added smoothly, her voice low but even. "But in my family's experience, clarity in expectations makes for lasting partnerships."

Her gaze lingered on him just long enough to show interest before shifting back to her husband. This was his lead, but she was ready to step in should the need arise.

Aggadeen observed the subtle interplay between the both of them, the man Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell rose to greet him before eventually settling back into his chair once the Imperial Treasurer made clear that pleasantries weren't exactly on the menu for this meeting. Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell offered her own pleasantry, a gesture so ingrained in her that it seemed almost automatic, a matter of social protocol rather than genuine warmth.

They were professionals by all accounts and presented themselves as a unified front to make their case. Unsurprisingly, it was the names that piqued his interest, particularly Dashiell and Arceneau. A review of the records revealed that these two companies had been involved with the notorious Corporate Interests Guild, a significant adversary of the previous administration of the Dark Empire.

Although times have certainly evolved, the Grand Vizier would likely disapprove of him engaging with adversaries, irrespective of the advantages it might bring to the current Imperial Government.

"Mutual benefit is certainly on the table, Mr Dashiell and Miss Dashiell." Aggadeen repeated, maintaining an icy sort of tone. Leaning forward to rest his forearms on the table, the simple motion in itself. The Novatroopers remained at attention, their presence a silent, constant reminder of the authority he represented.

"Though as you must know, the Empire is a machine and its parts must function with perfect efficiency. Though, how can it be efficient when both of your companies in Dashiell Incorporated and Arceneau Trade Company have targeted our past efforts to bring order to the galaxy through the Corporate Interests Guild." He paused for a moment to allow them to address the criticism he was leveling at the pair. The Galactic Empire was the best chance for peace in the galaxy often marred by the endless conflict between the Dark Side and the Light Side. The Dark Empire was a mere step in the right direction and they had opposed it.

"I am certainly not saying that the Imperial Government is innocent of guilt with its corporate centralization. But I am naturally hesitant to speak further about mutual partnerships when one or two partners have a checkered past. So, what assurances can you offer the Imperial Treasury to really consider your plight." He was prompt in refraining from placing full blame on the Corporate Powers, yet he effectively argued that forming a partnership with untrustworthy corporations was wholly unwise. It was pertinent to inquire what measures they would both take to assure the Imperial authorities of their good intentions.

First his meeting on Sojourn had brought up the Corporate Interest Guild and now this one. He found it amusing those in the more 'nefarious' side of the galaxy were so opposed to the Guild. Amusing because it seemed they all had a committee for everything - COMLIT, COMFEAR - that they could respect business sentients had also formed their own committee. Apparently not the cause.

It was also the first time someone considered him of all people to have checkered past.

"The Corporate Interest Guild was created in response to decree on criminalization and unauthorized foreign commerce decree. Article one, the first two subheaders - profiteering and unauthorized business - is very hostile in wording to corporations. My mining operations could fall under profiteering. My corporation does business across government lines, Imperial or not."

Makai gave a small pause.

"Being imprisoned for twenty years for doing what I do on a day to day basis is what upset so many who had come to join the Guild. Which is why I am here today. I am not looking to partner with the Galactic Empire, Treasurer Myi, unless you feel so inclined. We are here to ensure business operations in the area can continue to run smoothly."

Myra blinked once before folding her hands neatly over the table. The faintest curve of a smile touched her lips.

"I beg your pardon, Treasurer Myi," she began, her tone courteous but deliberate. " But a small note -- Arceneau Trade did not target the past efforts of the Dark Empire. In fact, an agreement had already been established between the Grand Vizier Wulf and my mother, Danger Arceneau. Arceneau Trade ceded locations directly to the Empire and went so far as to train Imperial staff to oversee them. That transition was conducted without bloodshed -- which I trust you'll agree is no small feat in these times."

SHe let the point settle before continuing, voice steady.

"In this instance, our intent is much the same, except we would prefer to continue operations. If necessary, we are willing to shoulder additional taxes and levies to move within Imperial space and to submit to any inspections you deem prudent. Mutual benefit cannot thrive without trust, Treasurer Myi, and we are prepared to demonstrate ours in good faith."

Aggadeen gently interlocked his white gloved fingers, while maintaining an aloof demeanor as he carefully listened to their reaction to his less than favorable review. Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell explained his thoughts with the cadence of a corporate leader, presenting his opposition to the Dark Empire as a matter of self-preservation rather than defiance, contrary to how the Imperial Treasury would perceive it.

Furthermore, the Guild, in the man's perspective, was merely a collective response to the overreach of a prior administration. This may be a reasonable explanation, but it conveniently disregarded the full scope of the Guild's antagonism. His gaze shifted to Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell , who spoke with a calm and disarming confidence reminiscent of her mother, the Queen of Trade, a figure well-known throughout this side of the galaxy.

While an agreement with the Grand Vizier is one matter, it does not address the fact that the corporation opted to join the Corporate Interests Guild rather than remain independent to formulate their own response to the Dark Empire's decree. He allowed a moment of silence to pass, the only sound the distant hum of the lounge and the low murmur of conversation from other patrons.

"We must have different definitions of targeting, Miss Dashiell. For remaining Independent and negotiating directly with the Empire would have demonstrated neutrality. By choosing instead to join with perceived adversaries in the Guild, Arceneau Trade ensured its actions carried political weight, whether intended or not. I am failing to see how you consider such an action to not be targeting our past efforts when the main reason the Guild was formed was to push back on our Imperial Decree on Commerce." Myi conveyed with a subtle hand gesture, aiming to express his perspective that by aligning with a faction considered antagonistic to the Imperial Government of the time, Arceneau Trade had already acquired the designation of a hostile trading group that was targeting Imperial efforts.

He allowed Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell to enter into his vision once more after setting the record straight to his wife. "What I need in order to ensure that operations remain stable and running smoothly. Is a full and unobstructed view of your operations down to the last credit, not just a promise of compliance with Imperial directives when they are handed down by the Imperial Treasury but absolute assurance that your resources in our space would not be redirected to supply unfriendly foreign governments."

His tone remained neutral, but the message was clear. This was a test of their resolve, a demand for complete transparency. Aggadeen considered that if they were willing to hand such information over to the Imperial Government then they were serious about maintaining their assets within Imperial Space instead of them being nationalized.

Makai wanted to argue the point the Guild was really about uniting to influence galactic affairs as well as having the best interests of capitalism at heart, but such an argument was not worth it. Not when the Guild was no longer active as it once was considering the fall of the Dark Empire. Makai had no doubt their decree would end up being the framework for another in the near future.

The half-Galan found it odd Treasurer Myi had such a pushback for his wife, especially considering Danger had been the only corporate entity to actually try and reach out. Either the Treasurer thought the Trade Queen was supposed to do more for the former Dark Empire or, perhaps, there was some type of crush on the redhead and Myi was upset he missed his chance during the first negotiations.

"Access to my operations in this area or as a whole, company wide?" Quite the difference depending on the answer. "What are the unfriendly governments? To be fair Treasurer Myi, your government is not that large to sustain mining efforts on the scale Aina performs. Who are the friendly governments allowed the resources from this current territory?"

Myra inclined her head slightly after Treasurer Myi's following up, choosing her words with precision.

"For Mara Tibx and Arceneau Trade, Treasurer Myi, the solution is simple. We can ensure that any resources within Imperial space remain within Imperial space, or are only traded with governments and entities you deem friendly. TRansparency in that regard is something we can provide."

She drew a quiet breath before continuing, voice calm but deliberate.

"But I would also stress that what my mother's company offers is not merely trade goods. It is stability. Arceneau Trade and Mara Tibx are known names across the Core Worlds. To retain that presence here is to send a message to the everyday citizen that nothing in their lives will be completely upended. That food, water, fuel, and pharmaceeuticals will still reach their shelves. That they can still buy Nuna wings at the local Yum Bunnies, have their beer, fuel their transports without seeing prices quadruple simply because of a regime change."

Her gaze met his evenly, holding his attention.

"Letting commerce continue without disruption makes it far less likely for unrest to brew. Order is not only soldiers in the streets..it is the quiet reassurance that tomorrow looks very much like today."

He kept a professional disinterest during the discussion to avoid revealing the Emperor's objectives regarding commercial activities in the regions of the Galactic Empire. Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell altered his approach, opting to circumvent the debate concerning the Corporate Interests Guild in favor of a more practical line of inquiry. Their responses were rather predictable, including the extent of the information sought, the interpretation of "unfriendly governments," and the roster of sanctioned trading partners.

A common strategy, designed to narrow the Imperial Treasury's demands and expose potential weaknesses in its new economic policy. His gaze shifted towards Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell , who explained her thoughts with a confidence.. She was not merely advocating for her company; she was endeavoring to promote an idea.

The subtle assurance that life would persist unchanged. This was a sophisticated argument, one that spoke directly to the Empire's stated goals of bringing order to a chaotic galaxy. He permitted her words to resonate, the significance of her statement lingering in the air of the lounge.

"Your point is noted, Mrs. Dashiell," Myi said, his voice as flat as ever. "The Empire understands the importance of public morale. However, let us not confuse a smooth transition with a beneficial one. We are not simply concerned with your products reaching the shelves; we are concerned with who profits from their distribution."

He finally answered Makai's questions, his voice clipped and to the point. "Operations within our region will suffice for now. We have no desire to become entangled in corporate operations elsewhere during our war with the Galactic Alliance. As for unfriendly governments, that list will be provided once we have assessed your assets to determine their strategic value. The Empire will decide who is a friendly trading partner. Your role, Mr. Dashiell, is to ensure your resources are not directed to our enemies. Nothing more."

Myi's gaze lingered on both of them, aware that the Imperial economy was not progressing positively due to the substantial resources being allocated to the Imperial Navy for operations in Alliance Space. It required time to stabilize, and if corporations could bridge the gaps to strengthen the industrial foundation, then that was a personal risk the Imperial Treasury would need to accept.

"Additionally there will be a COMFEAR Attaché attached to both of your corporations to ensure compliance and provide new work orders. This will not only allow the Empire direct oversight over your worksites but also provide you with a link to the Imperial Treasury to settle any disputes between Imperial Regulations and Corporate vitality."

Makai looked at his wife, a slight eyebrow raised. Yum Bunnies the bastion of comfort and stability in the galaxy? It was fine trying to win over the Empire apparently but not fine when he wanted a Hot Naboo Nuna sandwich. The half-Galan tried not to look amused at the thought as the speech did make sense. A small shift in his posture and he relaxed against the fine leather, nodding to Treasurer Myi's conditions to in order to continue to do business in their borders.

He didn't understand the 'entangled in corporate operations' line but if he had to guess, a concern corporate movements would bring about instability. Either through employee movements or third parties entering and exiting Galactic Empire controlled space, putting a strain on the border system and security of the region. At least, this was his guess.

"A COMFEAR Representative would be most useful in this situation, thank you. The more stability we can provide our employees the better and that can only occur when we work together. Are there any concerns you may have about either of our operations that could be answered today? Beyond the concern of the Guild and any influence?"

Myra's smile was faint, though it did not quite touch her eyes.

"Then it seems we are aligned, Treasurer Myi. If your concern is who profits, then know that our intent is not to siphon away from the Empire's strength but to sustain it. A COMFEAR attache will find no resistance on our part. Oversight is acceptable if it ensures that operations remain uninterrupted and the public retains confidence in their daily lives."

It was a pragmatic option, and one that didn't require anything beyond what her mama would typically have agreed to. And thankfully, Makai followed up asking for clarification if there were any other concerns.

It was best to have them voiced now so they could be addressed directly rather than linger.

Aggadeen adjusted the white gloves on his hands while Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell and Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell exchanged glances, choosing to communicate subtly regarding the Empire's negotiation strategy thus far which suggested that the Imperial Government's demands were not entirely unreasonable but rather fair and they both seemed to acknowledge this.

At the very least, he was optimistic that they would, as COMFEAR would provide him with consistent updates regarding both of their activities within Imperial Space. Any minor action taken against the Empire would lead to the centralization of the economy, which was detrimental to all, since unrestricted trade was crucial in combating the numerous member-worlds of the Galactic Alliance during this current phase of the conflict.

His gaze shifted from the gloves to both of them, as they seemed prepared to resolve any outstanding matters between their companies and the Empire. He paused for a moment, recognizing that there were undoubtedly numerous questions still unresolved from their brief meeting, including issues related to transportation, the risk posed by the Black Sun to civilian activities, and the method by which the tithe owed to the Imperial Government would be gathered.

"There are no additional concerns that require attention from the Empire's perspective. The COMFEAR attaché will arrive within the week with my signature on the data pad for authenticity. " His tone softened, as if the strict Imperial facade was momentarily fading, until his gaze darkened, locking onto both of them with unwavering confidence.

"However, I must caution you about the risks associated with conducting business without adequate protection. The Black Sun maintains a strong presence in these Core Worlds due to the Imperial occupation. Black Markets are bound to emerge, and it is uncertain when or if gangsters will come knocking at your door, demanding payment." He gestured with his hand, emphasizing that the Criminal Underworld was flourishing within Imperial Space, leaving no civilian operation immune to their plots.

"At least the COMFEAR Representative only has to visit one household, cuts down on their workload for the week."

A lame joke to break some of the tension the meeting had began with. Makai had viewed it as both parties being uncertain of one another but a small thawing of the ice was starting to begin. It would have no choice to, especially if their companies were answering to COMFEAR on a regular basis. Personally, he wasn't very concerned and hoped whoever got assigned to Aina Holdings enjoyed dusty mines and long periods underground.

"Pardon the...bluntness of my question, Treasurer, but does the Galactic Empire not view these pirates as a blight on their government? Are there steps being taken militarily to ensure there are minimal disruptions? I'm well aware one cannot stop all crime and pirates will always exist, but surely you cannot be pleased with a flourishing Black Market."

He paused for a moment, thinking.

"Either way, I appreciate the honesty. Myra and I were discussing amping up security either way due to uprisings, it appears it will also be beneficial for pirate activity."

Myra didn't have the practiced cordial mask her mama did, her emotions showed as a slight furrow of her brow at concern regarding the rise in criminal activity.

"The hyperlanes themselves concern me most, Treasurer Myi. Since the convergence, stability has been tenuous, and it seems inevitable that criminal syndicates would try to take advantage of that disruption. Smuggling thrives where governments shift, and pirates rarely waste time before testing a new regime."

Her gaze flicked briefly toward Makai, then returned to the Treasurer.

"Would you be able to confirm what protections are being reinforced along the lanes? For commerce to hold, our transports need more than oversight they need to arrive safely. Otherwise, Black Sun and their like will bleed both your citizens and ours."

Aggadeen maintained a steady expression despite the concerns raised by Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell and Myra Arceneau Dashiell Myra Arceneau Dashiell regarding the Empire's internal security in relation to Black Sun activities. It was entirely understandable that both of them would feel considerable fear about which other syndicate possessed the resources to rival the galactic powers on both the military and economic stage.

He allowed the silence to linger between them for a fleeting moment, his unwavering gaze fixed on both of them. The Grand Vizier had achieved some level of relations with the Underlord of the Black Sun, at least based on what he could deduce from her silence regarding their increasing boldness and even hints that the Underlord possessed a private palace on Coruscant.

"The Galactic Empire is fully aware of the parasitic nature of criminal syndicates," Aggadeen stated in a subdued tone.

"We are currently engaged in the task of restoring order. While the Galactic Alliance may have been complacent in permitting these vermin to seize extensive areas of space along their borders, the Emperor envisions a galaxy that is clean and stable. The Black Sun and similar organizations will be addressed accordingly." He took a moment, a brief expression of what seemed to be impatience crossing his face. It was a bold promise to give to them both and he did not believe it quite himself for they were powerful in their own right and the Alliance's fleets were likely regrouping for another offensive.

It did not take a military genius to figure that out as their economy would need the Core Worlds again to remain stable. "Your transports are your own responsibility I'm afraid at this stage of our agreement. The Imperial Navy is focused entirely on securing major hyperlanes for our miliary campaign to worry about protecting civilians traders and merchants. Patrols are being increased, and our assets are being deployed to eliminate any threats that dare to challenge our authority. The process is... ongoing. It will not be resolved overnight."

He had offered them an olive branch, a rare admission of weakness from the Imperial government. "Though consider if the Alliance could not defeat these criminal elements with three fully serviced Super Star Destroyers at their back and call. Do you honestly believe that the Imperial Government which was only reformed a couple of months ago would be able to gather the resources neccessary to close the Black Sun's black market completely?"

He would allow them to reflect on such statements for a moment. The Alliance possessed all the advantages in terms of securing the border against the Black Sun, and if they were unable to achieve this with three SSDs under their command, what led them to believe that the Imperial Government could dismantle the Black Market with even fewer resources?

Makai shared a small look with his wife, knowing she would catch his inference. The inference that Treasurer Myi all but admitted they didn't have enough resources focused on combating the Black Sun Syndicate. Which clearly meant the Galactic Empire would have limited resources to check in on corporations. His company did nothing nefarious, nor did Arceneau Trade, but the less they could be bothered, the better.

"Of course, I do not expect an elimination of the Black Sun so quickly. I was referencing more the different styles of government between the Galactic Empire and Galactic Alliance, it was my thought the criminals and pirates wouldn't want to risks some of the infamous Empire labor camps."

Had the Galactic Alliance been fighting with the Black Sun? Makai truly did not know. He always thought they had been focused more on Jedi than the military but then again, he also didn't keep up with all the news coming out of the area. The Galactic Alliance ignored him so he ignored them for a large part.

"I have nothing more to say on the end of Aina Holdings and Dashiell Incorporated. Although I suspect I will have more questions once we get to read the COMFEAR document." There was a small pause. "We will have to meet again in the near future, perhaps over dinner."

If the Galactic Empire was more open to relations than the Galactic Alliance he was going to take it. Building relationships is key and he didn't need things to sour, especially considering how critical the Core was to their operations.

Myra gave a soft exhale, letting the tension in her shoulders ease just a fraction. Her fingers brushed against each others as she clasp them together, grateful that so far, it hadn't turned out into a bad situation.

"Then we'll see to our own transports in the meantime, Treasurer Myi. People still need their shipments to arrive on time, no matter what battles are being fought. Food, medicine, fuel… stability doesn't wait on tomorrow. Arceneau Trade along with its subsidiaries like Mara Tibx and the like will proceed as discussed."
