Corporate Dossiers

"We all know the line, 'Eat the Corpos!' right? So, it's not entirely that simple, some of them are alright sorts who keep to themselves, or just taste nasty. Okay, that analogy is getting weird, the point is that there's lots of different types of Corpos, and it's worth knowing who's who."
—Daiya, Darkwire Shadowrunner (Blonde criminal bombshell, an info source if you can trust her)

This is a place for the corporate and businessbeing types to share some information about their company's offerings in and around Corporate Authority space.

Feel free to use this information to discuss new story ideas with other writers, it's mostly here for that, and partly here to brag.

After all, what good is a company if it only operates on paper?

For Example

Corp Name: Generic Corp, Inc.
Headquarters or Prominent Location(s): Denon
Public Figure(s): J.P. Shmorgan, Esq.
Most known for: Being the logo you feel with your fingertips more than you see with your eyes
Reputation with CAD/Direx Board: A mid-ranking DireX, has jumped in influence from the mid-40s to the low-30s in the last few years, still not much of a threat to influence or profits.
Reputation with Darkwire: No one really cares about them, except that their factories contribute to the smog cloud over in Distrct 5, and their products usually end up in landfills on Altier after a year.
Products/Services most heavily marketed in CAD: Plastene components used for the interiors of vehicles, and for kid-safe toys that shoot plasfoam projectiles
Notable Recent Developments: Sponsoring a disaster-relief PSA in the aftermath of the groundquake

Corp Name: The Globex Corporation
Headquarters or Prominent Location(s): The Wall, Denon
Public Figure(s): Autonomous Multi-Core Overseer, various corporate slicks.
Most Known For: Over-the-top infrastructure projects and excessive branding.
Reputation with CAD/Direx Board: Modest; pays all the right fees and lobbies the right people, but stubbornly refuses to flat-out pay bribes, leading to some annoyance respect from CorpSec.
Reputation with Darkwire: Modest; uptight corporate jerkwads, but less likely to gun down criminals than some. A tendency to publish schematics on the HoloNet (albeit under DRM) probably helps.
Products/Services Most Heavily Marketed in CAD: Housing, OmniLinks, Visium, and a vast number of hexaplast products varying from utilities to useless novelties. Less visibly - boarding pods.
Notable Recent Developments: Contributing to all the right charities following the groundquake on Denon... while at the same time lobbying to pick up reconstruction contracts.

Corp Name: The Cybot Galactica Corporation
Headquarters or Prominent Location(s): Telti, Denon, Anaxes
Public Figure(s): Jeffrey Bolton, CEO
Most known for: Their wide array of droids, built for any purpose you can imagine
Reputation with CAD/Direx Board: Amicable. Cybot Galactica provides significant discounts for Direx Board members and their affiliate companies so that CG is allowed to commit nearly every labour law violation in the book.
Reputation with Darkwire: Very Poor. While CG is headquartered out of the Silver Jedi Concord, the recent opening of their Denon branch office and large-scale distribution center has put them on Darkwire's radar. CG's seemingly complete disregard for the lives and well-being of anyone has made them a frequent new target of Darkwire, which they have internally designated as a terrorist organization.
Products/Services most heavily marketed in CAD:
  • Protocol and load-lifting droids for civilians and civilian industry
  • Combat, security, and assassin droids for private firms
Notable Recent Developments: After over a decade of bankruptcy, CG has returned to the galactic stage to peddle its wares. The CAD has become one of CG's most profitable locations.

Corp Name:
Cybros Advanced Technology Corporation (CATC)
Head Quarters or Prominent Location: Cybros (Artificial Planet)
Public Figure(s): Artus Mantgull (CEO and Owner)
Most Known For: The creation of the planet of Cybros
Reputation with CAD/Direx Board: Neutral and Distant. Not much relations have been made in the company's history. When on Denon it was too small to be properly noticed. Then, when Artus Mantgull obtained both ownership and the position of CEO, this standing became very distant as he made the company leave Denon so that the new planet he planned on constructing would be the location for all resources upon reopening the company for business.
Reputation with Darkwire: Practically non-existent. Over the past years, Artus Mantgull has been focusing company resources towards the construction of Cybros while Darkwire has expanded its influence. Now that CATC is ready for business once more, it is trying to figure out what to do with Darkwire, and it is assumed Darkwire still needs to figure out what to do with CATC.
Products/Services most heavily marketed in CAD: None currently. Originally the company sold things like datapads, medicinal machines, and other common technological items that the company modified with its own designs. However, as the corporation it is today, CATC has yet to release new products following the grand opening of Cybros. Designs for a re-release of previous products, as well as new designs for weapons, vehicles, and structural systems have been developed and are soon to be released an manufactured to available markets.
Notable Developments: The construction of an artificial planet using technology developed by CATC as well as commonly used for space stations across the galaxy is the most notable asset the company has developed in its history. From selling datapads, medicinal machines, and other technological gizmos on Denon, to now owning an entire planet that it is responsible for putting into existence. With this new planet as an asset to CATC, there are many fields that the corporation can expand into from its past products. However, there must be further development on the technology before things start getting manufactured after the reopening of the corporation and the grand opening of Cybros.

Name and Title(s): Artus Mantgull: CEO and Owner of Cybros Advanced Technology Corporation (CATC)
Employer Name: Artus Mantgull
Typical Workplace: Executive office on Cybros, or in his mansion within the Core District of Cybros
Boss/Coworkers: He is the boss, and the coworkers are a list of nameless employees to him.
Most Known For: Rather eccentric business plans, grand schemes of corporate ambition, and being extremely analytical in regards to everything he encounters
Reputation with CAD/Direx Board: Neutral and Distant. He relocated his company from Denon to a private solar system he had the company purchase to construct an artificial planet where CATC will be on top. While that was happening, he did not keep any corporate ties on Denon as he had himself and his company dissapear from the scene for twenty years.
Reputation with Darkwire: Non-existant. By the time Darkwire rose to promience, he and his company were off the map in the private solar system building Cybros. Now that he has opened his new world, and reopened his company, he is trying to figure out what to make of Darkwire, and it is assumed Darkwire is figuring out what to make of him and his company at the same time.
Projects Most Heavily Involved In: Every project being conducted by his company. He inspired and envisioned most of them anyway, but is also quite the micromanager of his company to make sure all products he planned or has allowed to be planned goes off without a hitch in a manner he approves of. However, the most recognizable of these projects is when he relocated CATC from Denon to the new world he had his company construct. The new planet now open for business, and all current CATC assets located on them, has been the most notable project he has taken up so far. The rest have yet to get on public record with what he has planned for his company.
Notable Recent Efforts: The construction of Cybros is the most notable. He devoted twenty years to the project of creating another perfect world for corporate interest, well more like his corporate interest, and a world where CATC would be on top of corporate listings. Currently, the next stage of the plan is to start manufacturing the new releases of products on the market as soon as designs for said products is finished.

Public Figure(s): Th'edar Kolbert - Founder and CEO
Most known for: Computer Technologies, Banking Network, excessive advertising and branding, Mining Monopolies
Reputation with CAD/Direx Board: Mercantile, K Corporation follows every law to the letter, pays its taxes and acts professional. Meanwhile it is also very wealthy and competitive.
Reputation with Darkwire: Neutral, K Corp tries to be a "good" corporation but many times its size and influence is too big to make that possible.
Products/Services most heavily marketed in CAD: Hardware and Software, Banking Services mainly loans
Notable Recent Developments: Very generous donations to the relief effort after the groundquake on Denon.
