  • City Name: K Corporation District
  • Classification: Metropolis
  • Location: Zakuul
  • Affiliation: K Corporation
  • Population: Heavy
  • Demographics: Multiple species live here, but the demographic is dominated by humans and muuns.
  • Wealth: Wealthy – As headquarters of a megacorporation, the city itself is naturally very wealthy and prosperous.
  • Stability: High – Corporate Military Forces enforce the law and the megacorp’s own rules too. They are well equipped and enforce the rules strictly. Everything must be in order, stability is key for the profitable operation of K Corp. Crime in the district is more like workplace theft, sabotage, corporate espionage and such. Small-time crimes can happen in the street of course, because the immense wealth can be tempting and opportunity makes the thief, but these are dealt with in short order. In the K Corp District most people can feel safe, problems are solved in civilized ways. Significant crimes are usually white-collar crimes.
  • Freedom & Opression: K Corporation District is under corporate rule and it is considered private property. The laws and rules are strict and thoroughly enforced, especially the work and security rules. Apart from that, the city feels safe and open relative to a corporate city, people can move and do what they like freely, naturally not everyone has permission to all areas and buildings, especially to tech related places, but this applies to regular cities too. K Corp gives permission to everything, from immigration, settling down, opening business, advertising, event organization and so on, effectively it is the local government. The population generally feels safe and well-protected here.
  • Description: K Corporation District has a very characteristic feel to it, it is modern, clean, orderly, bright, however maybe a bit cold and sterile. Metallic colors, glass and bright lights dominate the landscape. It is more like a huge workplace than a regular city, everything is in order, of course a big population lives there, so there are living places, small shops, cafes, bars and so on, but all the big businesses and services are provided by K Corp. Although the luxury and wealth is definitely there under the cold surface, apartments and houses are very well equipped, luxurious vehicles populate the sky, everyone is in nice and expensive clothes, high quality products and foods are the average everywhere. It is a high-tech metropolis.

  • K Corporation Citadel: a gigantic megabuilding located at the center of the district, it is the headquarters of K Corporation. Thousands of offices, conference rooms, community spaces and luxury apartments are located in this megabuilding.
  • Industrial sectors: large industrial parks filled with electronic factories, where large scale production takes place.
  • Research & Development sectors: state of the art research facilities located next to each other in innovation parks. Bleeding edge technologies are developed here, the source of K Corp’s development. Probably the most modern and secure buildings in the entire city after the Citadel.
  • Office sectors: large and tall office high rises populate these sectors with recreation parks. PR, HR, Marketing, Sales and other office works take place here centralized and perfectly optimized.
  • Residental sectors: Employees and other residents live in these modern living places, residential parks. Really nice neighborhoods with shops and everyday services. Of course luxury houses and estates can also be found in some of the more expensive sectors.
  • Spaceports: three gigantic spaceport hubs are located in the city, these hubs provide place for trade to flow. Mostly K Corp products are shipped out to the buyers and resources are shipped in. One of the spaceports is purely for personal transportation.
  • Warehouse sectors: huge warehouses and depots are located in these places, most of them are filled with products or materials. The warehouses are fully automated, droids do most of the work here, everything is organized and programmed, organics are just overseers. Some of these sectors spread as far as eye can see.
  • Medical sectors: the conglomerate is very proud of the medical service it provides to its employees, clinics, hospitals, health centers are open to everyone who needs their services. Large medical centers can be seen from afar, these buildings have a distinct clean white color and illuminated stripes. Ambulance teams stand ready all the time to help anyone who needs help in the matter of minutes.
  • Security sectors: these include military installations, bases, forts, strongholds, barracks, ports, bunkers, shield generators and turbo-laser turrets. Corporate Military Forces are not just a glorified corporate military police, many of them are former veterans or mercenaries and are quite competent in protecting the megacorp’s interests. A large battle droid army is also stored here in depots on standby mode. Prisons and detention centers are located near the military installations. Fire departments could be found in these sectors too.
  • Entertainment sectors: places where everyone can have a good time. Amusement parks, zoos, recreation centers, plazas, virtual holo entertainment centers, bars, concert parks, cinemas, opera houses, race tracks and stadiums fill these exciting sectors. Usually a lot of outsiders come here to have a good time, not just the local population.
  • Corporate culture sites: museum, monuments where people get to know the culture, values and history of K Corp, where everyone can get the feel of the megacorporation. It is simply PR heaven. Managers often come here with their teams for team-building trainings, to strengthen cohesion.

High – the city is well protected, but still a city, not a military installation. The circular layout of the city, with the Citadel at the center has a practical use here, many smaller and one huge shield generator working together can form a shield bubble around the city. A separate shield bubble can be formed around the inner-city, if the big one fails. If something gets through the shields there are many anti-aircraft and anti-vehicle turbo lasers throughout the city buildings. Corporate Military Forces are also well-equipped with full body armor and blaster rifles and they are well-trained too. The main defense forces are Destroyer Droids, they are stored in the security sectors and inside the main buildings, they have their own roads and tunnels where they can travel by rolling at high-speeds. The droids get activated if the situation gets serious and provide the iron spearhead to the security forces. Cyber-security is also a priority for K Corp, there are many cyber-security stations, scattered around like police stations, which monitor the network. Not all parts of the city are protected at the same level, K Corporation Citadel has more like Maximum security rating, generally the city is High, and some non-valuable places are closer to Medium.

As K Corporation grew it needed a headquarters, the company bought land on Zakuul and built a small but modern headquarters for itself, later as time passed the headquarters slowly became bigger and bigger, factories and spaceports were built, mines were opened and research labs facilitated on the land. After the foundation of K Mining Conglomerate the construction efforts really kicked into high gears, just in twenty years from the original hq it transformed into a full-fledged city. Th'edar Kolbert oversaw the construction himself, especially the K Corporation Citadel located at its centre, the crown jewel of the city. K Mining has so called mega-foundries, where they mold huge unitary structural building blocks, they use later for construction. K Corp District is made from this megastructure panels, so metal and glass dominates the scenery, almost everything, even the streets are modular constructs. The growth of the city mirrored the growth of the conglomerate. Later the financial wing of the megacorporation, Bank of K brought life and buzzing to the corporate city, many people followed the money and moved here for work or to live near the clients. K Corp District welcomed other smaller corporations too, especially partners. Small shops popped up on almost every street to support workers by selling them needed goods. As the city grew it was harder to control, so the megacorp had to establish Corporate Military Forces to keep law and order and protect the properties of the corporation and its employees. Shortly a kind of corporate society formed, where everyone is either an employee, partner or client of the megacorp, most of the local goods and services are either provided by K Corp, or by friendly corporations. Independent outside people and goods could also freely come to the city, but they are a minority. After the lightning fast construction and population of the city, it needed years to adjust to the needs of day-to-day life, rules needed to be changed, more housing and infrastructure built, safety measures had to be taken, levels cleaned and repurposed. At one point production had to be scaled up in order to keep the city profitable, so a lot of new factories, research facilities, warehouses, datafarms, and office skyscrapers had to be built, this is how the sectors were born. In the end the city today is the shining capital of K Corporation.

Hello! I will be reviewing your submission.

First of all, I will confirm that you do not need permission to make any kind of location in canon planets, but it's always good to ask when in doubt so I'm glad that you did. Feel free to remove the screencap and replace it with N/A.

As for the sub itself, you did a great job! There are only two things to go over before we get this stamped.

  • Credits: Please add a link to Stellaris official webpage too.
  • Demographics: Please add a link for the muun here.

Everything else looks in order and very well written!
Th'edar Kolbert Th'edar Kolbert

Edit: Corrected the Stellaris link I provided!
