Its been over thirty years since the Core Worlds Classic Series has graced the Galaxy with its heart-pounding action. In this racing renaissance a collection of companies, gangs, and gambling rings have come together for the quasi-llegal sport of swoop racing. Where Podracing was the preferred race of the Outer Rim, many in the Core saw it as the blood sport it was and understandably couldn't stomach the spectacle. Though only a hair less dangerous, swoop racing has been a staple of Core World sports for centuries. But a dark shadow looms over the sport as criminal organizations work to fix results in their favor. Will you put your hat in the ring? Gamble? Race? Be sure not to cross the wrong racer, or you might end up on the track with no brakes.

The Core Worlds Classic Series is a Pro Swoop Racing circuit looking for racers that want to make a name for themselves. Consisting of five races across Eufornis Major, Hosnian Prime, Nubia, Corellia, and finishing at Coruscant the race will follow the wonderful Podracing rules originally penned by Jorus Q. Merrill Jorus Q. Merrill and modified by Sor-Jan Xantha Sor-Jan Xantha with a twist.

  1. In the Core Worlds Classic Series, the grand winner will be the one who amasses the most points over the 5 races.​
  2. Each race will only be three legs. These races are fast and without mercy.​
  3. This is the professional world of racing...Which means even more illegal activity. Sub "Illegal" tech and use them in addition to your one save roll to give you an edge. Illegal tech rules as follows -​
    1. 1d20​
    2. 1 = Critical Failure -2 from your next roll​
    3. 2 and 20 = Caught and Disqualified from the next race​
    4. Odds = Add that number to your total​
    5. Evens = Nothing Happens​
  4. Must use a subbed SWOOP. Doesn't matter if it is personal or mass-produced. I encourage people to look at the Vault and see if you can buy one with your UCs!​


The winners of this race will have their scores added to the Pro Leaderboard on Colossus Racing.

Throughout the Corellian Confederation news of the announcement spread like wildfire. The Yokai, a local Corellian gang, tapped their swoop racing connections and began advertising an illicit substance known as Sundrop. The hype alone saw an increase in sales of the illicit coaxium pill.

Consider this post my approval to use this in any subs or threads with Semi-Unique or Unique swoops
