I need a thread for the merging of the two companies. As this is both for the same character, a simple handful of posts by your character in which a merger takes place will suffice as long as it takes place during or at the end of the merger and tells a complete story. (i.e; the thread can be about the end of the merger, where all your character has to do is sign a few papers, and that would be fine).

Rationale: A Tier 3 company is capable of having 4 locations and 3 operations as per company rules - "A Tier 2 company may begin with a max of three locations and operations" and moving up to tier 3 allows "One new operation OR one new location". The current company is tier 3 and owns only 3 locations and operations. This means its capacity is actually underutilised and I hope to able to retcon it into 4 locations. Coruscant is not far from the company's overall sphere of influence.

DESCRIPTION
Originally founded by Gustav Zenlav before the battle of Yavin, the company created numerous star ships. During the Clone wars control was seized by the Mandalore the Resurrector and has since been passed down the line of successors in order to ensure that the profits made by the productions can be used to develop and better the Mandalorian community.

Previously, a largely neutral company, MandalMotors is the driving force behind the economy of Mandalore, and sold its many products to any interested party willing to pay the necessary credits. The company was more or less allowed to run independently of the Mand’alor during the Gulag Plague, keeping many of its assets. During the Rebuilder’s rule the company saw a small amount of growth before landing in the hands of Mia Monroe who in turn passed it on to Gilamar Skirata, primary share holder and senior member on the board of directors.

Through a series of deals and various construction works, MandalMotors slowly grew into a force to be reckoned with, expanding its reach and influence throughout Mandalorian space, setting up factories on various worlds. Recently the company has grown large enough to fund and absorb other smaller companies such as the wildly successful Daw Motors and the Mandalorian native company Mythosaur Customs and Arms. With its large and incredibly modular home shipyard along with the ability to use the shipyards of Yaga Minor, MandalMotors has plans to continue its progress, taking the galaxy by storm.

However after several years of corporate rivalry between itself and Mandal Hypernautics it fell to the wayside of its rival company's superior tech and thus shifted its focus to research and technology of the every day consumer. After Mia Monroe laid waste to the surface of Mandalore, the company incurred a large drop in market sales. Due to lowered profits and overall revenue MandalMotors hired on Mandalorian Zeke Farthen as the CFO to increase profits and clean out management. Unfortunately upon his arrival the Mandalorians underwent a Civil War which ravaged the world even further. After the Death Watch claimed the planet, Death Watch soldier Dorn Skirata initiated a hostile takeover of all his Alor's assets, including MandalMotors and its subsidiaries and threw the company into overdrive producing new starfighters and capital ships for the Mandalorian Empire, rapidly expanding its profit margin and influence in the Mandalore Sector.

RATIONALE
Gilamar Skirata had been a long time employee of MandalMotors, working for several decades at the Shipright post Gulag Plague. During his absence however, the war with the Sith created a need for a near direct control of the company by the Manda’lor. After the Liberator “retired” Gilamar Skirata took the reigns as senior employee as well as primary share holder of the company. Since then he has improved the company by leaps and bounds through the help of allies and friends.

However as the years went on and the company grew, companies such as Mandal Hypernautics and ArmaTech Industries grew even faster, especially during Gilamar's supposed death when then acting Mand'alor Azrael Skirata had taken over the company. However, during that time MandalMotors' finances and subsidiaries suffered a great deal and thus the old CEO was forced to pull many items from production or development to refocus on its finances. Again his rival companies flourished, becoming the two largest supplies of Mandalorian Military tech. With MandalMotors left to the wayside by these corporate giants, Gilamar decided it was best to withdraw from military contracting and focus more on research and development of technologies as well as shifting its focus to the every day consumer. Thus MandalMotors Technologies Inc. came to be. Unfortunately Gilamar Skirata perished in the hostile takeover of his company and the company was taken over by Dorn Skirata and his CFO, Zeke Farthen and contracted by the Mandalorian Empire to produce ships of war once again.

DESCRIPTION
The Intergalactic Monetary Fund is a materialistic driven, hard working and determined company who is dedicated to ensuring the fair treatment and distribution of resources, at least, that's what their website says. In reality, it is owned by 2 individuals who use it as a front to justify their sick twisted desires. In planets where it operates, governments are forced into less than favorable contracts that often lead to political instability. In the small print, The IMF agrees to assist in the madness, in exchange for assuming direct control of the provincial government until they deem otherwise.

Among other things, they subsidize public expansion and providing necessary firearms to those in need of it. (For a hefty price), it wouldn't be too difficult to find them instigating wars for the purpose of profit, and perhaps to shift out of date stock. They are the embodiment of corporate capitalism with no restrictions. All goods manufactured come from industrial droid factories which produce cheap models sold off at outrageous prices, and for good measure, pollution which damages the environment, with good reason. The numerous buildings used to produce such goods would be far too expensive if they were "clean and green."

RATIONALE
The company was founded by Natalie La Forte, her sister Carina LaForte, a supposedly dead scientist and a group of very wealthy individuals wanting a place on the Director's board in exchange for lump sums of money at regular intervals. In truth, the former 3 are not the bulk of wealth sustaining this, the various tycoons seeking to exploit planetary resources are.

The current director's board consists of over 50 members, the two largest share holders being Natalie LaForte and Lunara Ochenta

IMF has recently cut its ties with the Sith Ascendancy and has instead been focussing on supplying galactic powers with its exuberant range of goods and services, namely being droids, although has recently expanded into the market of developing clothing and has branching divisions in creating medical products for the everyday vampire.

DESCRIPTION
The Trade Federation is was one of the most powerful and influential intergalactic trading conglomerates in the galaxy. With anything from the iconic battledroids to savvy business Neimodians, when you hear the name, you know there is power behind it. Leading up to the clone wars, the Trade Federation paid out an exuberant amount of wealth to a dying cause, and up until their dissolution with the Imperial Senate, were but a puppet of what they once were. After being reformed by various individuals, each having to their own extent small amounts of success, Natalie LaForte has successfully maintained a majority of shares and is looking to lead the company into the glory that it once possessed before it was corrupted by politicians.

Natalie seeks to change the way the federation operates, removing corrupt managers and replacing them individuals of all backgrounds. The federation has also changed in the sense that its main figurehead is a human and is also female.

RATIONALE
Natalie came in control of The Trade Federation following a period of borderline bankruptcy. With a failing market economy and a declining Galactic Population, the Trade Federation slowly lost its purpose as time went on. As sales began to drop to their lowest points since the incorporation of the federation, and investors began to pull funding and trust, Natalie slowly but surely purchased shares until she managed to remove her competition completely and achieved a majority of shares. Her control was further secured after the company's new policy was supporting communities it had destroyed, in the past and right the wrongs that the power had formerly produced.

After a series of cutbacks, both staff and production wise, Natalie did what she knows best and executed the rest of the shareholders and covered the accident up. Nobody bar one minor shareholder survived, who is now the Chief Financial Operator for the corporation.

DESCRIPTION
Didact Defense Solutions operates under three pillars: gather, build and defend. It was decided early on that while it would be impossible to become completely self-sufficient (especially in the beginning), it was important to lay down the groundworks from the start.

Its current holdings were chosen for those reasons.

Biewa: One of the many industrial worlds of the Corporate Sector was the perfect place to occupy an abandoned factory plant. A steady stream of credits from Itash ensured that it was restored to proper working order and soon after personnel began to return. The people must eat, after all. Biewa currently functions mostly as a professional restoration, repair and modification center for Didact Defense Solutions, rather than the construction of new designs. This will surely change in the near future.

Bonadan: Located on the crossroads between many important shipping lanes of the Corporate Sector Bonadan was chosen for its ability to attract and retain individuals from every walk of life, its central location with the Corporate Sector and cheap options to hire warehouses for storage. This world has a mid-sized recruiting station in the main starport of the planet, while having several smaller booths in the other starports.

Davirien: A jungle world formerly owned by large medical interests Davirien is unremarkable for the most part. It is for that reason that Didact Defense Solutions picked it as their main training grounds within the Corporate Sector. A facility was constructed in the jungle and the tracks around it have been cordoned off with regular patrols and sparse outposts. After all, it would be a sad affair if some tourists wandered into Didact’s territory and accidentally got killed during a training session.

Atchorb: A regional trade hub due to its positioning between two major lanes within the Corporate Sector Atchorb was a prime choice to expand Didact's recruitment efforts within the Sector. With an eye on an expansion on its mandate in the future Didact Defense Solutions has acquired a well-meshed military facility, recently abandoned by the former security forces of the Corporate Sector. It has been renovated and serves as a medium-grade outpost for Didact in this part of the Corporate Sector.

RATIONALE
Didact Defense Solutions was formed shortly after certain events occured on Eshan. Itash Mecetti, exiled nobleman and renowned scholar, found himself suddenly in control of a large detachment of Thyrsians. At first this seemed like good fun, then it became annoying, until Wes (one of his trusty sidekicks) pointed out the benefit of having a small standing army at your call.

Itash, always ready to assist the needs of his fellow sentients, made a decision right there and then. He would utilize their strengths and together they would make a lot of money.

First order of call was capitalizing on his efforts on Arkania. With the sudden access to professional muscle hundreds strong it became trivial to finalize the last stages of his project around the excavation site of a certain Sith library. Rather than restore it… Itash had it ransacked, extracting anything valuable and demolishing the site soon after that to cover his tracks.

Next port of call: the Corporate Sector.

There were other places to visit for a fledgling private military corporation, of course. But there was something brewing there and his luck guided him along.

They found the Corporate Sector different from what Tash could remember.

Much of the order of things were strangely lacking, which concerned him briefly, before Tash realized that this meant he could avoid some of the frustrating bureaucracy.

They comfortably settled themselves in.

Didact Defense Solutions was open for business.

  • Operations: The Company makes simple consumer electronics. At least that is what it looks like on the surface. Under the table they craft battle droids, weapons, armors and various gadgets used for infiltration.

DESCRIPTION
Crozo Corps works in the shadows. They let only people they trust into their headquarters and they keep everything they do quite. To any outsider, Crozo's name is slapped on to various consumer electronics, like holotapes or light fixtures. This is the side of the company they let others see, but the militarized section is a closely guarded secret.

The company headquarters is only a mere 16,000 square feet. 10,000 of which is used for office space. 3,000 is used for their consumer electronics and the remaining 3,000 is used for their under the table devices. This 3,000 square feet is hidden underneath the factory and requires going through security check point after security check point. At the moment this level of security is not needed, but Taras is planning on making the corporation massive.

RATIONALE
Taras Crozo founded the company to help support himself. When he realized there was more money in underground affairs, his greed got the best of him.
