DESCRIPTION
The Body Armor used by the Stryker's Marines was created under the direction of Captain Charles's to develop a new type of body armor but with mostly already existing components. Working with his Engineering Crews and feedback from his Imperial Marines together they created a ergonomic and practical alternative to the bulky, stiff, and poor situational awareness of Storm Trooper armor. The design mostly pulls from Imperial Army gear due to its simplicity, greater mobility and durability. Plates can be swapped in the field without special equipment. The helmet (made out of the same materials as the armor) features improved straps, a more sleek and comfortable design and is lighter than the Imperial Army Helmet it replaced. The goggles use an integrated system designed to improve vision in any environment from dark corridors to the flash of hull breaches. It also features thermals vision, integrated coms and target identification.
